Kilpisjärvellä erinomainen ravintola Kilpishallilla. Kivat maastoreitit kävelyyn ja pyöräilyyn. Hienot maisemat.
Pyöräilyyn voisi olla enemmän reittejä. Majapaikka kaipaa kunnon siivousta. Sängyt hetekatyyppisiä vanhoja. Samoin petauspatjat aikansa eläneitä. Sohva likainen. Sauna ihan ok, paitsi lauteet aikansa eläneitä. Siivoustarvikkeet vanhoja ja erilaisia siivousrättejä, joista ei tiedä mihin tarkoitukseen ovat.

Beliggenhet var helt fantastisk
Storset var alt bra

Location was great
Overpriced slightly run down property. The cheapest rooms were facing a newer hotell. Prefer the one floor options.

Location was amazing, near to a Gas station, restaurant and bar, overlooking a mountain. Very peaceful area. Well equipped cabins. Seemless checkin and checkout.
The stairs to the loft can be challenging at night :)

Great value for money, warm and spacious!
We enjoyed the sauna when outside was -20C.
Sheets and towels aren't included in the price but you can just use your own, beds are equipped with pillows and duvets.
Definitely recommended!

We loved everything about our stay 🤩 We'll be back for sure 😃👏

We really liked that we had our own sauna and kitchen. The room looked really nice with the staircase to the bed room.
You can sometimes here your neighbours through the wall.

The hosts were super helpful and the place is cosy and comfortable ❤️ We'll return for sure!

the house was amazing. The view of the lake was very nice. The owner knocked on our door to let us know there was an amazing Aurora! If he was not there we would have missed it. Amazing men amazing place. Clean with a sauna

Sauna was nice but it’s a standard in Finland
unwelcoming vibe - at the entrance a long list of how much you need to pay in case you break something, such as extremely old coffee machine jug, dishwasher that is at least 30 years old etc. you have to pay extra (a lot!) for the bedsheets and you need to put them on yourself. they are also not matching, with “exotic” prints such as tiger etc and definitely no fabric softener because they were extra stiff. You also need to clean yourself, otherwise they will charge you 30 EUR. The message about additional payments comes after you make a reservation.

Very basic and pretty outdated cottage. Nice to have sauna
In the hallway there are 3 lists of rules and extra rule about cleaning. However, there was hair on the floor and table when we entered. If you try to open the window on the second floor, the curtain will fall, as it is not attached

The beds and the rooms were very nice
It was clean
We arrived late and had good communication about that
We got the wrong number to the cabin, and we had to contact the staff late at night

Basic cottages, sauna was great!
Not the most modern but for this price it's good.

Perfect location that gave us a magical northern lights experience at night. Very friendly staff and a good rate for finnish standards. Well equipped with everything we needed. We were also allowed to change our reservation to one day later without an extra charge, so we really appreciated that.
The hairdryer didn’t work and had hair on it. The owner had said to us that we could contact him if there’s a problem or we need anything but we didn’t cause it was not really an issue for us anyway! I’m sure if we had asked him he would fix it! :)

We went for a hike to the "Three-Country Cairn" in bad weather conditions, while hiking called the Kilpisjärvi visitors center for navigation advice. They told us to return back and not attempt the hike, never heard from them again. And we ignored them and made the full hike.
On the other side the sweet ladies from the village called us to make sure we are alright, alive, not lost and need no help.
Thank you!
Need to pay for bed sheets and towels, or bring or own; and pay for check-out cleaning or do it yourselves. Not is con per see, since most of northern Finland does this for some reason, but still not that customer friendly,

The location was very good. A minutes walk from the store and restaurant. Nice views.
The cabin was somewhat outdated and it was sloppily painted on the inside. The price was high compared to the quality of the apartment.

Sauna and the location (walkable distance to K market). Fully equipped kitchen

Place is very cute et very well located. We had the best time ever
It was very cold all the time, especially downstairs, even with a fire.
Not enough cleaning supplies

Good views and location. Good apartment and value for money.
