This is a nice place to stay for a couple of nights.

The staff were helpful and kind. The included breakfast was a great way to start my day.

Different rooms have different types of fans. It would be nice to know what is the fan setup for each room beforehand.

Hidden gem on the main road.

The room that we had was comfortable for our needs of 3 people, but it was noisy, you could hear and be heard by other visitors.

Staff was friendlt, but it felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. No major issues with the hot water supply.

There’s a commuter train that runs behind the hotel early in the morning to later in the evening. The rooms are clean but there’s little natural light and mine smelt a little musty. The breakfast is ok, nothing to write home about. The hotel felt more like a hostel - even though the rooms did have individual bathrooms.

Fair for price but not high comfort

The location was reasonable - near a mall, and not too far a walk to get into the main town / restaurants. For the price (c£50 a night), it seemed ok, but admittedly we were expecting Costa Rica hotels to be better value for money overall

The rooms were all quite different but we got placed in one which was a room inside a room so it was very dark / dreary. The room was noisy with outside traffic. Breakfast was quite limited but perhaps understandable for the price - you had to pick from a few options but couldn't make substitutes for example, if you didn't eat eggs you couldn't ask to swap out with something from another dish

A perfect departure and end point for a round trip in Costa Rica

The hotel is well-located, not far away from the city centre even walking. There is a big supermarket and many restaurants, bars and breakfast places near the place. The staff is very helpful and nice.

It is a bit noisy, it is on the Pan-american main road, and there is also a train line running very close to its back yard.

No hot water - water is heated by solar but unfortunately it was cold on all 4 days/nights we stayed very thin walls - very noisy both internally and externally with traffic and trains

5* Staff!

this hotel is located in a wonderful neighbourhood that felt safe with many excellent restaurant options as well as a super market close by. it has social areas to hang out within the hotel so you aren’t stuck sitting in your hotel room the whole time. THE STAFF ARE AMAZING!! They really are what make this hotel a great one.

I didn't like the fact that I had to ring the bell and wait for a staff to let me in AND out of the building EVERY single time.

It was good.

Because of cloudy weather the solar water heating never supplied heated showers.

The curates egg, good in parts

Breakfast was OK.

We stayed there at the beginning of the tour and the room was disappointing. At the end of the tour we had a much better room and it was fine. There were no glasses or cups anywhere except the restaurant.
