La habitación era pequeñísima, las camas no eran especialmente cómodas y el edificio era muy ruidoso, con ruidos de cañerías y zumbidos del cuadro eléctrico. No es un gran sitio para descansar.

Basic but practical

The Hotel Dona Carmen is ideally situated in the centre of Ronda. Parking is very limited so best to use the municipal car park 10 mins walk away although you can unload bags outside the property. Inside the property gives the impression of being tired. It’s isn’t a warming welcome but friendly all the same. Rooms are, basic and in need of updating but clean. If you’re booking for the free breakfast, I’d recommend giving the transport style cafeteria a miss and visit one of the nearby panaderias that are so much better. Overall, you get what you pay for, if you need a bed for the night, you’ll get it!

Good location and good value for a short stay

Close to old town and train station

Long pillow was uncomfortable, hair dryer didn’t work and could hear lots of noise through walls as well as street noise

Exceptional

Great location within walking distance of activity centre and the famed bridge/gorge. Simple, clean room matching the price point and the little balcony onto the street was a nice bonus. We were there during a large fiesta in the town so it was a bit noisy in our room but the upside was the great atmosphere out in the streets which is all part of it! The breakfast included in the cost of our stay was better than expected and the staff were friendly and attentive, bringing extra food for our toddler.

very helpful staff, nice location

good location within east walking distance to tourist sites. very nice staff. finding parking on the street was hard but there was a parking lot close by that was free between 10 pm and 8 am.

their info was a bit unclear. the written info said checkin after 12am. I assumed that meant 12 pm as midnight didn’t make sense. then a couple days before arrival they said checkin was at 3 pm. the instructions for checkin were written in Spanish and I thought they said we needed to check in online. it was confusing. but when we got there someone was at the desk and all was very easy. the staff were very helpful and spoke English very well. it was nice that breakfast was included!

An O.K place for a night or two,considering the price. Close to everything.Friendly staff .

An O.K. hotel room,very close to bus station and town center,with very friendly staff,and an edible breakfast. Great hot shower and a workable heating system

Even though i had a small balcony the covering prevented any sun to get into room. The heating system of next room was so loud and annoying through the night.

Located near bus station, and not far to the new bridge, which is the most important attraction.

It's a bare bone one star hotel. You can't expect too much. Breakfast starts at nine. If you have a bus to catch, better be prepared to give it up.

Clean, friendly, calm and near center

Friendly staff, clean and calm room with own bathroom, parking nearby, calm street, near a lit of restaurants and shops, easy walking distance to all sightseeing spots

Quite old which shows in the design and e.g. state of bathroom, but all perfectly clean - so not recommended for great design :), but good value for money

Great location, perfect really. Fantastic value for money, yes it's a little dated but that just adds to the charm. Decent breakfast included too!

I was not a tourist but visiting to see a dentist. Stayed 3 comfortable nights. Will book again.

Breakfast good & generous. Central location good for me. Room cleaning & linen daily. Friendly staff. Air conditioning working. Telephone, radio & flat screen TV in room. Balcony overlooking street.

Perfectly adequate for my purposes even if furnishings a little dated - old fashioned Spanish style. Hotel would have had lean time over Covid so probably little money for now for uprating.

Well located in the centre, easy access to everywhere, not far from the main street with all the restaurants and shops.. the room was quite simple, but doing its job.
