Clean room, cheap
Could do with darker curtains to deal with the scandinavian midnight sun in the summers

Wonderful and helpful staff, great people and clean and comfortable rooms.

The kitchen was fantastic and the check in process was super smooth. I also really appreciated the free wifi. Everything was clean and tidy for the most part, and i felt very safe and secure about leaving my belingings in the room. Great location too!
I think our room was too small to have 4 bunk beds. When fully booked, it was difficult to find space to put your things

Great facilities in the hostel, a large communal kitchen and the place was very clean. Perfect for a short stay, would recommend to other solo travelers.
The location could have been more central but had good transport links into the center.

Super friendly staff, helped me a lot.

I was most amazed by how clean everything was - possibly due to the lack of visitors during the pandemic, but it was simply astonishing. The location isn't very central (it takes about half an hour to walk from the railway station), but the public transport connections are good, and there is a lot to do in the vibrant neighbourhood! (This was the reason I booked this hostel in the first place so it was perfect for me.) It was very easy to check in and out, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, thank you so much for your help!
My room was extremely small - it was a 4-person room and there was barely enough space to walk to the bed. It wasn't much of a problem for me since I had the whole room to myself because of the pandemic, but with more people there it would've felt very crowded. There are also roadworks just outside so the view from some rooms might be less than impressive for the moment. At least it was still rather quiet despite the construction.

How relaxed it is, allowed to get in with it. The lovely guy that greeted me on arrival and let me in the room when I locked myself out. The kitchen for self catering - really inportant on a budget, and communal areas. Thank you will come again...
No coat hangers in the room, no chopping board in the kitchen. Small yhings that could be improved, though to be fair I didn't ask.

Good location. Clean. and comfortable bed.

Place was good and value for money
They could have a 24 hours front desk person.

People and managers living in the dormitory are very kind. Security is greater than other hostels.

I was so shocked when I saw the bed assigned to me. It was a bed in the storage room for the female dorm! The hostel crams too many beds in small rooms and apparently there were 26 people sharing only two washrooms. The washrooms were smelly and I had to brush my teeth and wash my face in the kitchen sink.
The hostel is terrible! Very small dorm with way too many beds, too many people sharing two washrooms and the washrooms are smelly and not clean. The neighborhood is sketchy and not safe or clean. Air circulation is a problem in the female dorm as there is a bed blocking the window so it can’t be opened properly.

The place was nice, they even offer late-night self check-in. The staff is helpful and it's near the city center.
The price was quite high as opposed to the places I've been before but the quality was way above expectations.

Great location, near public transport, next to a supermarket and in front of a cleaner. It’s a small but cozy hostel.
It would have been great if they had washing machines and breakfast

Locations is excellent, price is good for Helsinki region..
Too small room, the smell of socks in the room, snoring from other residents. sound-proof was not working well, noise from people talking in the lobby and the street
