Platz ist in der kleinsten Hütte

1. Lage, Parkplatzmöglichkeit an Hotel, 2. gutes vielfältiges Frühstück - inclusiv mit vielfältigen Rattenfänger-Utensilien. 3. Wir erhielten auf Nachfrage und Bitte das Zimmer im 1. Stock (da wir nicht mehr gut zu Fuß sind - statt im 3. ).

Ich hatte tatsächlich überlesen, dass die mit sehr netten Fensterbildern versehenen Fenster allesamt zu einen Lichtschacht führten, insofern fehlte ein Ausblick. Das war aber vorab angegeben, zudem störte es abends gar nicht.

Kurztrip in Hameln - immer wieder gut!

Das Haus ist ganz nach dem Motto „Rattenfänger Hameln“ eingerichtet. Überall findet man einfallsreiche Gegenstände als Mobiliar oder Accessoires. Selbst die Frühstückseindeckung spiegelt diese Geschichte wieder und ist außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstück selbst ist vielfältig und gut. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral - alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar.

Aufgrund der Bauweise gehen die Zimmerfenster zu einem Innenhof, dadurch hat der Innenraum nur wenig Tageslicht. Dieses ist aber mit einer einfallsreichen beleuchteten Fensterdekoration gut kaschiert.

Ich fand das einfache Hotel super. Sehr liebevoll traditionell gestaltet bis hin zum Frühstück. Wenn ich wieder in der Gegend wäre, würde ich wieder dort übernachten.

Wir würden es so nochmal buchen!

Frühstück war einfach, aber gut, sehr liebevoll gemacht. Die Zimmer waren sauber und groß.

Das Bad war sauber, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer war durch mit bunter Folie beklebter Fenster insgesamt schon sehr dunkel

Zufriedenstellender Aufenthalt mit Luft nach oben.

Das Hotel liegt in der Altstadt und man ist gleich mitten im Geschehen (kann auch mal lauter werden, wenn um die Ecke gefeiert wird.). Zimmer war ausreichend groß, Möblierung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig.

Das Bad müßte renoviert werden. Die Handtücher waren etwas ausgefranst.

Nettes kleines Hotel mit unkomplizierter Leitung und leckerem Frühstück

Ein super Frühstück, sehr liebevoll am Tisch angerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Lage mit einem kurzen Weg in die City ist auch prima.

Leider war es im Zimmer sehr warm, wofür jedoch das Hotel nichts konnte, sondern einfach die Witterung.

Wow what a beautiful place to stay

We loved everything, the bedroom was lovely with a comfy bed with quirky details. The breakfast was 5 star with everything you could possibly need. The breakfast room had so many lovely features we couldn’t name them all. The host was so welcoming and obviously took pride in the property. We arrived on motorcycles and had a quiet, safe parking area. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Hamelyn. We would recommend anyone to stay here.

Perfect location, great staff, we needed an early breakfast and they did a super job helping us get fed and get going early! Thank you! Room kitschy theme but gorgeous paintings and woodwork. Great value especially for tourist town! We were in a room without a view but it was compensated by the beautiful paintings and lighting behind them.

The apartment was huge, and very comfortable. It was on the fourth floor, which was fine for us, although with no lift some may struggle. The rooftop terrace opposite our apartment was fab too. Parking at the back of the hotel was good (accessed via hummenstrasse) and the member of staff on duty moved his car to let us use a bigger space as i have quite a long car. Staff were great, very friendly, good english, and patient enough to let me try my broken german. Breakfast great, many rat-based features as would be expected in Hamelin. Location perfect for everything Hamelin has to offer.

Nothing to complain about. Some may find lack of lift a problem but not an issue for us

Comfortable stay and superb breakfast in Hameln.

Hotel Altstadtwiege is located in Hameln's old city (Altstadt) and is close to restaurants, shopping, and the main sites. We had rented the 3-bedroom apartment on the top floor, which provides comfortable accommodation for four travelers. The breakfast was outstanding.

The decor of the apartment on the top floor is somewhat dated. I believe the rooms on the other floors are more nicely decorated.
