Exception host

Séjour idéal

mon choix était la situation géographique à proximité du centre historique à pied ce qui est tout à fait le cas au calme à deux pas des remparts. La jolie villa Catelli est très agréable et confortable on peut stationner dans la cour c'est très pratique, notre hôtesse organise parfaitement l'arrivée même en son absence et son accueil est chaleureux et sympathique. La chambre est très bien et le petit déjeuner aussi bref un séjour idéal dans la très belle Lucca.

Ottiima posizione e colazione abbondante.

Non è presente ascensore per raggiungere il primo piano. Il costo del parcheggio non è trascurabile.

Tage, an die wir mit Freude zurückdenken werden

Sehr schönes Zimmer in günstiger Lage nahe der Stadtmauer. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl in der liebenswerten Villa catelli und der sehr kultivierten Stadt Lucca.

Wie in allen Städten kann auch in Lucca der Gesang der Amseln und Rotkehlchen nicht vollständig das Brummen der Automotoren übertönen.

Exceptional

Really friendly host who spoke excellent English and made a wonderful breakfast with generous portions. Lovely, large comfortable clean rooms. Easy access to the main town. Lucca is beautiful. Access to free bikes was a great way to see the town via the walls.

Perfect Villa in Lucca

Super clean, organised, and welcoming place. It's the second time I have stayed at Villa Catelli and I hope I come back again. The location is perfect, and I would recommend for couples as a romantic and relaxing getaway. There are gluten-free and lactose free options for breakfast.

Would stay here again!

We stayed here on our way back to Pisa and I would really recommend! The B&B is super cute and just a 5 minute-walk from the city walls. We were able to park the car inside the property (for 10 euros) and the check-in instructions were very easy to follow. We were also able to leave the car there for the rest of the day after check-out whilst we went sightseeing in Lucca. Celeste, the host, was very attentive in case we needed anything. The room was big and the AC was working perfectly. Would stay here again!

The bed wasn't very comfortable, the mattress seemed quite old.

An excellent choice of accommodation when staying in Lucca

We received a warm welcome from Celeste even though we arrived much earlier than planned. Our room was on the first floor and was excellent in all respects. Celeste handed over pre-prepared maps to each of us, showing entry into Lucca, typical routes around and locations of favourite restaurants & gelateria indicated. It was a great help. Breakfasts were very good and tasty and we especially liked the scrambled egg…..a “must have” for us each morning. We thought the villa perfectly located, just 5 minutes outside the city walls. We also loved the outdoor garden area, finishing off each day sitting out there with a glass of red reviewing our day & planning the next …a lovely finish to each day. At the end of our stay Celeste sorted our Trenitalia tickets to Pisa Aeroporto & printed them off for us – a brilliant additional service.

host was wonderful. villa was lovely. clean tidy comfortable spacious and quiet. breakfast was great.

Location was great. just outside of old walls. walking distance. parking was on site behind security gates which was comforting. property was beautiful located down a road full of trees. very large rooms with lovely bathroom and old style windows. breakfast was superb. plenty of choice for a long day ahead. every where was clean and tidy and old style. the host was absolutely wonderful. always available via phone and so helpful for hints and tips on travelling eating and sites to see. she really helped all guests and had lovely chats at breakfast. the best choice. thank you.

Celeste was incredibly helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The room was clean and very comfy, great location just a short walk to the city centre. We would definitely recommend and would love to come and stay again

Great location, facility and welcoming staff. Celeste was excellent. Terrific made to order breakfast. About a 7 minute walk to the walled city.

No shades on the bedroom window. Not the best situation for light sensitive guests. My eye mask saved the night!

A totally wonderful place to stay with a truly marvellous proprietress.

We had a wonderful stay due to the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the proprietress Celeste, her warm welcome of our canine companion Bella, the quality of the room and the best breakfast we have ever had in Italy. This is 5* B&B.

The best stay in Italy for reasonable price with a great location and the nicest owner!

During our trip around Italy, this accommodation was the best experience! The owner was more than helpful, gave us great tips for sightseeing and for local restaurants and was very nice talking to. We could even borrow beautiful city bikes to ride around the city walls! Since one of us is vegan the owner made us a delicious vegan breakfast which was much appreciated! Can’t wait for another visit!

Lovely B&B for an unforgettable stay in Lucca

The location was great at walking distance from Lucca’s city center. The B&B is very nice with very comfortable rooms furnished with sober style. Very nice breakfast with some local products. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Excellent stay, comfy bed and airconditioning, close to the city center with very friendly staff!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They really go the extra mile, for instance they helped us with planning the next steps of our trip, making reservations for restaurants and what to see, even far away from Lucca which we liked very much. Thank you!

To be honest, everything was great, there's nothing I did not like.
