Aussergewöhnliche Ruheoase im Casa sulla Roccia

Ein aussergewöhnlicher Ruheort, mit einem tollen Haus und wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge. Wer die Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit und Tiere liebt ist hier genau richtig! Wir hätten am Liebsten verlängert 😉 Chuki der Esel hat uns immer begrüsst (schade kann man keine Videos hochladen) und die Hündin hat uns nachts "beschützt" 🥰 Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten unsere Batterien wieder aufladen. Im Haus und hat es alles was es braucht, auch ein Grill gab es zur Benutzung. Was fehlte war eine 2. Kochplatte 😉 Vielen Dank für die liebe Gastfreundschaft! 🙏

Rund um zufrieden, tolle Tage der Entspannung.

La Casa Sulla Roccia ist ein hübsches Häuschen in einem großen Garten. Sehr ruhige Lage mit Hunden, Katze und Esel. Der Blick auf die Stadt und den Sonnenuntergang ist sehr schön. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Ebenso der Bahnhof für Fahrten nach Palermo oder Catania. Enna selbst ist eine schöne Stadt mit einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Möglichkeiten zum Wandern sowie Ausflüge in die Städte sind mit dem Auto kein Problem. Enna hat eine ziemlich gute zentrale Lage. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Wir haben dort sehr schöne Tage verbracht und würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Ein absoluter Wohlfühlort!

Es ist ein wundervoller Ort. Die Lage des Häuschens und die Aussicht sind außergewöhnlich. Außerdem gibt es liebe Tiere. Zur Entspannung absolut geeignet.

A cozy little house located in a picturesque and beautiful valley outside of Enna. Very pet-friendly, safe, comfortable, welcoming, and clean. Our dogs made friends with Bimba the dog and Ciuki the donkey, we all had a wonderful time! We will most definitely come again!

Ottavio gave us a real warm welcome he had provided eggs, bread, jam, water croissants, coffee for breakfast. It was really different and fantastic place to stay. Feeding the donkey was fun and he would give you a morning call (not too early). The resident outside dogs and cat were also very friendly but never tried to come into the house The bed on a mezzanine in the little country house was comfortable but didn't enjoy getting up for the loo in the night. The location was just grand, fantastic views all around. The kitchen was a little limiting with a single ring and little oven but we did just fine. 10 minutes drive to Enna old town and we found plenty of parking, but it was off season. We purchased a joint ticket for the castle and tower (20 minute walk from the castle) we also drove over to the other hilltop town, not much there but some great views of Enna 30 minutes drive is the villa romana (you must visit and see the beautiful mosaics). Would definitely recommend this house for an authentic stay in sicily.

Nothing that impacted on our enjoyment Would have liked a cutting board.

A Perfect place for 2 person. We stayed in November. Even though it's cold outside, but it's very warm inside. We really enjoyed our stay here. Two cats, one dog and a donkey comes around. A very lovely house. We love everything in the home, especially the big balcony, which can overlooking Calascibetta and the mountain. Giorgia and Ottavio gave us very warm welcome in Sicilian way. They recommended us very good restaurants and bars in town. This is a traditional Italian stone house you must stay when you visit Sicily.

Magnificent Sicily Adventure

Wonderful, unique stone house with typical architecture for the region. You can really feel Sicily’s spirit. This is actually what we came for 😊. I was impressed by the huge garden and terrasse outside with unforgettable views at sunset and some sweet animals around– a dog, cats and the lovely donkey. The owner is very kind, helpful and capable to take care of this beautiful place

Splendid mountain views on our honeymoon

The view here is simply breathtaking. After arriving we noticed that the property can also be rented for events, wow this would be a location for an Italian dream wedding! But for us it was just honeymoon and we really appreciated the tastefulness of the interior, the many different spots outside (terrace, balcony, small cave, second terrace :)) to admire the mountains and the hilltop village of Callascibetta. It can't be put to words so we added a picture. There is no other house or road or anything in the vicinity, so you're super private, even outside. The bed was fantastic as well and felt like a quality mattress. The other facilities in the house are as described and everything (inc. kitchen) is well supplied. Rooms felt more spacious than you would get from the pictures. We would have loved to stayed a few more night, but unfortunately it was already booked. Either way, we spent two full days there as we didn't feel the need to leave this magical house :). Highly recommended.

Nothing. Be aware there is no wifi (as described) but 4G reception was fine inside the house.

If only the weather had been kinder. this place is uniquely awesome. Be prepared for a steep track on arrival.

Very individual in style and with loads of space. Cluky the donkey was a star. Our host ,Ottavio was absolutely brilliant. He couldn’t do enough for us,. helping with finding the place when we got lost and providing a very generous supply of food for our arrival. he kept in touch during our stay as the weather was ‘challenging’

Reasonable house and premises. Clean and well equipped.

Location in middle of nowhere. For restaurant and shops you had to go by car all the way to the center of Enna. The so-called nearby restaurant/shop was a small bar at a gas station. The road from highway to house was terrible. It was almost impossible to come back to the highway with a normal car as the entrance was very steep and you could not see if cars were coming.

Casa Sulla Roccia is worth a trip on its own. The accommodation is located on a unique property in a fantastic and secluded location, from which you can nevertheless reach all the towns in the area very easily. Particularly noteworthy are the incredibly friendly hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much and will visit Casa Sulla Roccia again!

Best vacation in bad weather.

Nice view, calm environment, two donkeys and two goats surrounding the individual house. Ottavio is a sympathetic and relaxed host. The house is well equipped and we wanted to have a barbecue at the terrace but the rain stopped our plans.
