All-in-all a good place for a good nights sleep about half-way between our departure and arrival.

The location close to major highway is superb. The rooms are very suitable for a couple, and the beds are very good. It is convenient with the short distance to Burger King and Shell for light meals and breakfast sandwiches. Convenient that it is possible to park just outside of the room.

The last times we have stayed at Holms Lier there have been problems with TV-watching. I strongly recommend that an instruction for the use of the TV in the room is produced and laminated lying in the room; thereby avoiding that the guest has to ask the receptionist for help.

Ok for a short stay. For price i guess its what you can expect. Nice staff, ok room and ok cleanliness. Not the greatest

Close to my event, simple to Find and ok size.

Very loud enviroment, can hear the road and clients at gas station and restaurant next door. Hard too sleep in noise. Air vents and air flow could be better, stale air and opening Windows is not enough.

Maybe good for truck drivers for a short stay, but not for a vacation stop

The Lady from the receiption was very nice and friendly. She proactively called us, when we got delayed and asked if we still will arive or want to cancel.

On none of the fotos it was shown that the motel is right next to a gas station, Burger King and parking place. This might be perfect for a truck driver, looking for a quick stop for the night, but maybe not for a couple on their vacation. The matraze/bed was very much used and the tiny bathroom was even for a motel lower clasd. And especially the price is by far too much for this kind of stay. (1200 NOK)

Very good

The location suits us well, approximately halfway between home and our destination. It was very nice to experience a very nice upgrade of the room and much appreciated that there is a water boiler and Instant coffee, good size TV, and good chairs in the room. We will continue to stop for a good nights sleep whenever we travel the long distance between our home and our destination approx 1000 km apart.

A breakfast service would be highly appreciated.

Like the american motel style, exact copy of a typical usa motel from the 50s 60s and early 70s including the interior. Lots of charging facilities just in front. Gas station and burger king as neighbours. You love it or hate it.

Little messy on the property. Clean but a lot of thinks were broken or damaged. Garbage can in room was full from prior guests . Nice but simpel hotel without any plusses and old interior . THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. But I liked it for the price and memory of my many trips to the usa way long ago. .The gas station en burger king just in front of the hotel is only a few years old. You hate it or you love it. The hotel was hard to find. My routeplanner brought me to the gasstation and burgerking. The hotel is really hidden behind both.

I like the clean room.the sofas was nice too.it was quiet and very comfortable in the room. Thanks for the blonde girl...she was very cute and polite.

Disppointing

We had 5 rooms and we reached approx 10.45 pm. The reception was closed. When we ringed the no. given outside reception, we were told that they are fully booked and we do not have any reservations. After a lot of explaining, we were told to wait, and then the reception was opened from inside after a few minutes and we were checked in. Also, I forgot my charger at the room and wrote a mail to the motel. They did not bother to reply.
