Will definitely be back

The location was great,just a short walk to surfers . Showers were fantastic, we never ran out of hot water. The unit was tidy . The staff were very accommodating regarding extra towels etc

Unfortunately the unit walls were dirty and the dishes and cutlery were put away with food over them,so everything had to cleaned again .Photo attached. Sign above balcony door inside unit stating there was a security camera watching incase someone decides to throw items over balcony was a little unnerving.

Fabulous location and view - disappointing lack of facilities and staff attitude.

The location and view from our ocean view apartment was second to none - superb! The apartment was spacious and beds were comfortable. The requested late checkout at 11am was appreciated. Car parking was good.

1) Cleanliness - a previous guest's contact lenses left on the bunk bed steps ( see photo); suspicious stains on the bed cover top bunk ( see photo), filthy bunk bed steps ( see photo) 2) Staff - a long list of 'don'ts' upon arrival, unwelcoming and ambivalent with the bare minimum of service. Disappointing being treated like a 'schoolie' when paying $700 plus per night! 3) Facilities - 1 lift of 3 out of order; wait was 20 mins trying to get from carpark to room; gym - closed; steam room - closed; bar with lovely looking cocktail menu - permanently closed; room - the bare minimum of pans, one tiny sachet of washing up liquid ( ? really - see photo). Disappointing. 4) Apartment had lots of scuff marks on the walls.

Perfect Location, close to everything, easy parking

Very dirty, marks on the table, flies in toilet everywhere. Even you reported to the reception. They say it is non of their business, they can passing the message or complain to the owner, however, action taking or not depends on the owner, they can still rent it with mess and dirty. How scary services, I booked with Rudy 2-3 times a year, this is the first time experiencing on something like this. Definitely not recommend Somewhere like them not so responsible, Change hotel next time.

Worth it

Beautiful location and view from the room was great. Staff are very helpful and polite.

The aircon didn't really work and nor.al channels on the TV didn't work for night time but that wasn't much to complain about

The rooms were modern and nice, view was fantastic.

We had to swap rooms initially as first room had faulty aircon, luckily as also first room smelt like previous users were smokers.

Our stay at Ruby

The location was great, easy walk to main street restaurants ect. Breath taking view.

The restaurant was permanently closed, so nowhere to sit and have breakfast or a meal, couldn't enjoy a sneaky cocktail beside the pool or in the bar. Unfortunately no spa attached to the pool. Woke up with itchy spots after he first night.

Location handy to town . Showers were great . Overall layout of apartment was good . Pool area was very nice . View was good .

Very noisy apartment with weird acoustics . on two of the nights we could clearly hear the elevator going up and down through the air vent in the ceiling of the bedroom . The aircon was very noisy and annoying with a distinct whine , which was hard to sleep with . The view was nice but could not be enjoyed on the balcony due to all the shouting and screaming kids in the property next door which was a kids adventure water slide area . Lounge chairs were hard and uncomfortable .

Not worth the $$$ to stay at this hotel.

The apartment was new and modern.

Sadly the hotel seemed exhausted and tired. the grounds were noisy from next door, the facilities were either closed or busy. A lot of faults I. facilities. plus the bed were very uncomfortable, both had neck issues once home.

An awesome location for a family and large group of friends to use as a base to explore the Gold Coast.

Location, pool, beds were super comfortable, staff were very accommodating, apartment was well fitted to accommodate a busy family to maximise their stay in QLD.

After hours arrival was challenging. More explicit instructions on use of the intercom would have helped streamline this process.

Wouldn't recommend this place to stay if you like your accommodation to be clean and tidy

The pool was nice

I had a traveller's card which I had used a couple times before but when I went to pay for the accommodation it would not accept, so this took over an hour to sort out which was very frustrating when we just wanted to get into our accommodation after a long day of traveling. When we got into the room it was hot (air con wasn't turned on), and it was filthy. There was a bloody booger flicked/smeared onto the wall in the bedroom, there was stuff spilt on the floor, there were other people's belongings under the couch (high enough off the ground that a cleaner should have seen it), the pillowcases had questionable stains on them so we found the cleanest one to use- then mid stay when our room was tidied they were put back on the bed 🤮 and to top it off the outside furniture needs a good clean. The cot that we asked for was given to us with no bedding, and the 'mattress' was paper-thin and hard.

Great staff, free onsite parking, but the rooms were dirty and had a weird smell

The staff were amazing and the view was quite good. Was not too far from Surfers Paradise Central to walk or to take the car. Was extremely handy that they had free parking on-site that was not an additional charge. Pool was nice and they have a good little café in the lobby.

The room was quite dirty and had a weird smell. All of the walls were scuffed, and we had to clean the bathroom again before use. Also, bear in mind that the apartments are not serviced, so you will need to obtain clean linen and towels by yourself. Also thought it was a bit strange that we had to remove our own rubbish when there were bins provided in the room. Finally, aircon turns off automatically after 1 hour of no motion, or if you have either the door or a window open. This means you wake up several times throughout the night and it is steaming hot in the middle of summer.

Fine for the price.

View was great, beds were soft and comfortable, location was good, price was good. We asked for a late checkout and it was granted. The general cleaning of the room was done well.

The walls need a re-paint there are marks everywhere, the hallway carpet needs cleaning, the couches are stained, the single beds are a custom size and are smaller then usual. There was an awful waste smell in the hallway which reception said all cleaning staff had finished for the day by 5pm and that maybe a stick needed to be shoved down the waste shoot to get rid of rubbish that was stuck. Not Ruby's fault but i got a few scam emails and txts from booking.com from this booking asking for card detail verification.

It’s not value for money, bathroom was coverd in mould, floor was dirty my white socks turn black in a minute.

Good location! Bed was comfortable!

Very disappointed every were was dirty! Mould in bathroom ceiling and shower area needed maintenance not normal cleaning! We told the staff that floor needs mopping and never heard of them, we stayed 8 night no room service at all you need to go and ask the receptionist for everyday items like toilet paper and etc! Elevator floor was wet all day because of people using pool! Is there any instructions for not using elevator with wet clothes !!!
