Tired, overpriced hotel with staff who don’t seem too bothered about customers

This is a very tired property and although it was marketed as having parking available to reserve or nearby, neither was true and we had to park a 15 minute walk away. The twin room had such narrow beds that one of us turned over and fell out during the night, and the bathroom was so tiny it was unpleasant. The doors and walls are thin. Staff seemed bored and disinterested in customer service. Would not recommend and would not stay there again.

Il check-in mi è stato spiegato dettagliatamente la mattina del mio arrivo tramite whatsapp perché sarei arrivata la sera tardi. Non ho avuto problemi. Camera accogliente e molto ordinata. Letto comodo Struttura a pochissimi passi dal centro

Assez bruyant… entre les autres clients très bruyants et les femmes de ménage qui commencent très tôt à faire le ménage avec aspirateur… cela n’est clairement pas un hôtel calme

Friendly staff but a disappointment in facilities/cleaness

Location: walking distance from train station. Helpful and nice staff.

The room didn't seem clean or smell clean.Small shower cabin- no turning space - with a curtain that does not stop from making a mess on the bathroom floor. I just think the price wise/quality it was a bit expensive.

It was pleasant but not value for money

Good location. Easy check in. Helpful staff

Hotel was just ok, not great, it suited our needs because we were only there for shower, and rest.

Breakfast was good, pastries, cafe latte homemade to order, OJ fresh squeezed, bed comfortable, we were a tripel with our college son with us.

Staff was friendly, but not overly welcoming to us upon our arrival. Room was noisy with street traffic with our windows open for fresh air. Bathroom accomodations, we had to walk through the shower sideways to get to the toilet. The shower door did not close adequately and the water went all over the floor. The hotel is much further walk from the train station than I thought.

Not Clean. there was a bug and blood on the sheets in my bed. I didn’t notice until the morning and was pretty disgusted. breakfast has so many flies buzzing around that I didn’t feel safe eating it. the juice containers looks like they hadn’t been cleaned ever.

Very friendly and good situated

very very friendly staff. All of them. And the receptionist really took time to answer my questions about visiting 5 terre. Breakfast buffet was much bigger than I would expect from a 2star hotel. easy to find and only 10min walk from train station and a few min to center of La Spezia

view from balcony was to another house quite close and so it was always quite dark in the room. But that was ok for me as I was doing things the whole day anyway.

Unexpectedly Nice Little Hotel

The hotel is close to the center, but still relatively quiet. My "single" room had a double bed, plus a small fridge, a/c, and plenty of towels in the bathroom. There were lots of options for breakfast and the staff was helpful and multilingual.

While there is a place to hang clothes, there were no shelves/drawers for folded items. It's not a huge issue, but if I'm staying for several days, I like to unpack properly.

Helpful friendly staff and comfy beds

Lovely helpful staff and comfy beds, very small bathroom but ok for a 2 star hotel. Breakfast was nice with a good choice although I would have preferred the cakes etc to be covered as it was hot and there were a few flies around.

No lift! Must have missed that when booking but helpful staff carried our massive cases to the 2nd floor!

Spacious rooms, good location and breakfast was fantasic

No air con in the room, a big fan is provided which can keep you cool but it is rafher noisy to have on during the night and can keep you awake. This is the only downside, perfect stay apart from this.
