La ubicación es perfecta. El gran tamaño de la habitación superior y sus muy buenas vistas. Gran atención por parte del personal, nos guardaron las maletas después de la estancia. No tiene desayuno, pero se puede desayunar en el bar de al lado con un descuento.

The Concierge and front desk staff were so welcoming and friendly, I left with a warm hug after 4 nights stay in my cozy, clean, updated, single bed room, set up so efficiently, and I accepted their offer of the quiet room, though they told me I could change the next day to a view room if I wanted, but I needed my sleep, and got it! The bed and bedding were comfortable, though I still used my mattress-pad I used throughout Greece/ Italy, I probably didn't need to. It is perfectly located at the entrance to the Forum and a very short walk, within sight of the Coliseum. The neighborhood felt safe, and it was a real treat to stroll out and overlook the Forum area, lit up at night, and see the Coliseum and other ancient wonders all around. I also found some great local Italian restaurants a few blocks off the touristy area. They helped me with my taxi's as well, and I learned that is the best way to do it for price and time. Highly recommend Hotel Romano for the budget-conscious, single traveler (and anyone else as well!).
For the price and convenience, I have no complaints, the most important things for a traveler were well considered.

Our stay at this small boutique hotel in the heart of everything was amazing. Staff very helpful. You are walking distance to all major historical sites/museums/galleries. Next door is a small coffee shop for morning expresso/cappuccino and pastries. Several restaurants in the same square. Didn't bother us but every time you leave the property you turn your room key in to the front desk. When you go to your room you have to put your key in a slot that turns on the electric. Don't worry AC still runs without the key in the slot so your room is nice and cool when you come back in from all the walking/exploring. I actually found this very smart because that way no guests could leave anything plugged in that may start a fire when they weren't in their room. Also since it is an old building the elevator is small and actually comes out 1/2 way between floors so you either have to walk up or down a 1/2 flight of stairs to get to your room. Again didn't bother us but if you are unable to climb stairs at all you might want to double check they have any ground floor rooms. Staff held out luggage when we arrived before rooms were ready for check-in and offered to hold at check-out if we needed. This will definitely be our go to for accommodations when we return to Rome and we WILL!
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at the hotel. Only negative is wish we had scheduled to be in Rome longer before our Transatlantic Cruise. We both fell in love with the city, history, culture and people!

The room was very small but still liked it.

Outstanding location to the Colosseum and other popular sites! There are many very good outdoor restaurants right outside the hotel. The room was very clean and a decent size for Rome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a/c, a mini fridge, and a hotpot for tea and instant coffee. The first night even came with a complimentary small bottle of champagne!
The bed and pillows were not as comfy as you’d find in the states. The shower is tiny but typical for Rome.

The location
10.0
The location is great, you are 5 mins away from the colissium, and about 15 to 20 mins walking to most other big places, but along the way there a ton other things to see. There is a good selection of restaurants very close to the hotel. The staff was very helpful with everything. They can help you call a taxi for the airport if you need one. (all taxis have a flat fee of €50 to the airport).

Not much. It was safe enough to stay 1 night
The room was dark. The bedding was not white, but a velvet material that looked has not been changed since the 1800. The beds were not confortable. Everything smelled old. The location is in the middle of a street that immediately you step outside is chaotic.

The location was superb - so near to the Forum, Colloseum, Monti with all the great little shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be going back. It is a little gem in the heart of Rome!
The pillows could have been a bit softer but overall we were happy with our room.

Location was perfect for our trip.
The staff were really accommodating, friendly and always willing to help.
The fizz and chocolate on arrival was a lovely touch and enjoyed.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and easy to sort. To was not great but not in the room much anyway.
