Très bon emplacement. Personnel sympathique et efficace. Chambre confortable. Très bon petit-déjeuner.

Staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly, food was fine for a light breakfast; pastries great.
Location was good, easy walk to main areas, restaurants and bars. Also close to the ocean if you want to have some beach time.
WiFi was not great.
Advertised roof top garden was misleading, wasn’t really a garden it anywhere to sit.

The area was nice
The hotel had seen its day and it wasn't a hotel, it was a B&B. With the name Livingston Hotel I expected a lounge and restaurant and they didn't have either.
The rooms were terribly small and we couldn't even walk around the beds to get to the bathroom with out bumping into something..furniture or the desk.
When I asked for a larger room so I could at least unpack and put my luggage in the corner (there were no dressers or a place to stash your things), they told me that the hotel was sold out which seemed odd since every morning at breakfast there were no more than 6 people in the breakfast room.
For the money an AirBnB would be a much better choice.

A very nice breakfast.
This is a tired old hotel. It has seen better days. Kind staff, but just a tired old place that could use updating.

Francesca was very helpful, both with local suggestions and directions, and also onward transportation as I continued my journey. She's the best!

Excellent location, good breakfast
Room os comfortable with a beautiful sea view. No parking, but if you are lucky you can find some on the street, or for 20e/day in a local garage, everything taken care by the staff (Francheska). Would stay again

Highly recommend the Livingston Hotel. The manager, Francesca, is very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is nicely furnished and very clean. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of options. The location is on the water, central and quiet. Will definitely stay at the Livingston again.
Nothing!

The hotel took us by surprise, Francesca and her colleagues were unbelievably helpful, nothing was a problem, the girl herself is a Trojan. The hotel is the best placed hotel in Siracusa, we looked down at the best swimming spot there is. I would come back for the hotel and where is it, but the staff, best ever! Thank you
Shower was a bit cool the first day, but they quickly rectified it

Francesca & Ashan were the epitome of hosts. Hopefully I will return in the future to see her plans become a reality , which I am sure they will. She is a small ball of fire.
If we could have extended our stay.🥲

The front desk lady, Francesca (hope I spelled it right) is very nice and friendly. I checked out after 11am (which is past the breakfast time), and she took me to the dining hall for a big breakfast. I’m surprised because it doesn’t usually happen. Very warming.
The location is good with a great sea view and close to the Island center. In all a good stay.

Good breakfast, nice staff. Big rooms
For parking there are two options: either wait for free space on a narrow street, or pay 20 euro for the night in the garage. It would be nice to know about that in advance.

location. and your staff is amazing!
the spa was unavailable even though it was advertised. the biggest disappointment was the rooftop was enclosed with glass so it was way to hot to enjoy the view. the wind was not allowed in. seems as though an iron fence would have been a better option.

Nice location along the shore and close to the centre of Ortigia, it's an old-fashioned classic al hotel with nice rooms and a great ter race on the roof. The breakfast was good and the staff was very kind. We managed to park the car right behind the hotel, but you need to be Lucky to find a spot.
The whole building could use some updates, but for one night it was still great.

the location in front of the sea literally, the facilities, and especially the kindness of the staff! Special dedication to Francesca who is literally the best and that makes you feel comfortable and vey welcome !
nothing ! if you want to go to Syracuse, you should definitely chose that hotel !

The location of the hotel is very good, handy to Old Town and near the beach.
The room was cramped and uncomfortable. It rates very low in value for the money. It is easy to find a better room in Siracusa at about half the price.
Also, I was very upset over the laundry situation at the hotel. I asked if the hotel offered laundry service, as I traveled Italy for three weeks with one carry-on bag and did laundry every fourth day of the trip. The manager said the hotel did have laundry service, and that if I left my clothes with the desk in the morning, I could get them back in the evening. I did so. When I came back to collect my clothes, I was presented with a bill of about $60 (56.20 Euros) for the wash-and-dry of three changes of clothes and some t-shirts, a little more than five times what it would have cost to wash them myself at a laundromat. I complained to the manager that I was not told that there would be a charge at all, much less such an exorbitant one. Other hotels at which I've stayed that offer laundry service, have either done it for free or charged a minimal fee of $10 - $12. The manager refused to lower the price at all. I felt the hotel misled and cheated me.

it is located few minuts walk from Duomo. area is very safe and quiet.
wonderful rooms with balconies and view on the sea.
simple but delicious breakfast
on the top floor there is open terrace where one may enjoy sun, view and a coctail. just ask at the reception and they will mix you an aperol spritz.
only positive impression

Amazing location. We opened the door in our room to the balcony and slept to the sound of the sea lapping the shore. Elegant decor in the bedroom very classical and romantic. Although a quiet location it is just 2mins to restaurants etc. Would definitely stay again

Location is great and even though I was stressed with where I would park, the staff were really helpful and sorted that for me. It's near the water so the view was amazing and the area is really nice. The room was "old-fashioned" as is the hotel, but I really liked it.
The breakfast would probably be the only area for improvement.

We absolutely loved this property! They made us feel at home & the convenience to phenomenal restaurants was perfect! Teresa (sp) was our ‘guardian Angel’ &&& Antonio was a godsend! Our car was towed - he drove my husband - Teresa found out what happened. We cannot recommend this hotel any higher!
Everything was perfection!
