Un piacevole soggiorno a Saumur

L'hotel si trova a pochi passi a piedi dal centro storico di Saumur ed è facilmente raggiungibile se si arriva in auto, evitando di passare per le strette e affollate strade del centro. L'hotel è munito si parcheggio all'aperto molto comodo in quanto attiguo all'hotel e permette quindi l'accesso diretto all'hotel. Il parcheggio auto va espressamente richiesto quando si prenota. Il personale è molto cordiale e fornisce tutte le informazioni necessarie per la permanenza e per raggiungere le principali attrazioni di Saumur. La camera era ordinata e molto ampia adatta per due persone e con lo spazio necessario per le valigie. la camera è sicuramente molto ben curata e rispecchia il gusto dell'intera struttura La struttura è munita di ascensore. Nell'ampio bagno c'è tutto l'occorrente per la doccia e anche il phon. la stanza è munita di una porta finestra che permette l'accesso a un micro-balcone che si affaccia sulla strada e sull'inizio del centro storico. Le stanze comunque sono insonorizzate abbastanza bene (non si sentivano provenire rumori dall'esterno o dalle altre stanze attigue). Il letto è come da descrizione e tutto sommato confortevole. La stanza è munita di aria condizionata che in piena estate è sempre gradita.

La stanza purtroppo non era munita di tapparelle ma solo di tende che quindi lasciano ampi spiragli da cui filtra il sole già la mattina. Manca un vero e proprio armadio ma c'è comunque uno spazio dove poter appendere abiti o giacche e delle mensole dove riporre le cose. Il bagno, come però spesso capita negli hotel, non è finestrato ma è fornito di un buon impianto di aerazione. L'ascensore è molto piccolo ma comunque sufficiente per 2 persone e 2 valigie.

Boutique implies smart fancy but this need some of the basics sorted

Location, comfortable bed and good breakfast

The hot water wasn’t working properly so each time I used it I had to cal reception to reset the heater. The WiFi in my room as weak and intermittent

A perfect stay in Saumur. Will be back!

The hotel is beautifully decorated and the bedrooms exceptional. In particular the bathroom was stunning. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of pastries, bread and savoury options. The staff were all very attentive. The hotel is in the heart of Saumur so could not have been better.

Very comfortable, welcoming hotel in an excellent location and good parking.

We liked the modern individual decor concealed inside an old property. The reception areas were wonderfully spacious and everywhere was very clean. The parking was very good and the welcome very warm.

Nothing, although I could have used more precise instructions for arrival at the hotel as it was quite difficult to spot.

Not very good it was a nice hotel but really nothing to do in it only to sleep and have breakfast.

Nice room but I am disabled which I tod them about and they put me on the 2nd floor.

No food, only breakfast. No bar is open, so I could not get a drink., A staff member was parked in the disabled space.

Stop off on way back to ferry.

The rooms were nicely cool and air conditioned. The ceiling were high and rooms spacious, beautifully furnished with top quality bedding and bathroom fittings. The bed was divine,so comfortable. Breakfast was healthy and of excellent quality. The owners were exceptionally welcoming and helpful in guiding us to find somewhere to eat and drink. A lovely stay. Will return.

The lift was out of action, being refurbed , not worked for 2 months. Room was of course furthest away you can get from reception.

Delightful short stay in heart of Saumur.

Great style and nice touches. Room was small but well-designed. Paid secure parking behind the hotel was so convenient. The staff were helpful and very accommodating to all requests.

The separate toilet “cubby” was a little small for us tall Americans.

Another comfortable stay @ originals boutique hotel

great location and good looking renovated hotel close to town . on main road , parking is a squeeze at the rear of hotel , this would be an issue @ busy times . (10e) per night . warm welcome , very friendly staff . room was clean and very comfortable. great breakfast , lots of choice . our second stay @ the hotel. definitely stay again as it ticks all the boxes . Samur is a beautiful city to visit .

The location is perfect with interesting shops, walks, with numerous bars and bistros close by.

very enjoyable

On arrival we were met by the very beautiful Marie, she made us very welcome as did all the staff, speaking only a little French they all helped us totally enjoy are short stop over in the very beautiful city Saumur , the family room has vast amounts of space to keep everyone comfortable, highly recommend please book a car space as city centre is always busy

very well located short walk to the city centre . Clean and bright helpful staff . room was comfortable and although facing main road good insulation . Very good breakfast spread .

parking is a challenge . for €10 park at rear of hotel and just not enough space for the cars allocated , means literally cannot open your door . there is parking on street plus public nearby .

We love this hotel,it was as nice time as last time.The lady on reception was again amazing.we love the decor . So convient to walk into Saumur.

A lift? .....but we know this is not possible in the building.

Really Good

Staff were great, breakfast very good, apartment room spacious, location ideal. Our plans changed at the last minute meaning my 16 year old had not returned to the UK and planned, the hotel staff were understanding and let him stay in the apartment with us.
