Very relaxing and quiet. Ideal for an overnight stay if visiting Puy du Fou
No options for small snacks. It was three courses or nothing at all. Had to walk to village to buy sandwiches etc but ok if you like A La Carte

Good food, very nice swimming pool (though fencing around left a lot to be desired) and passable room (large, quirkily French but dark) - service in main building not brilliant (and wine ridiculously expensive - as in equal to 100 euro per bottle for a very ordinary white). Sad to see some facilities in a disused state - tennis court. Fitness centre very basic - no water, towels and comms therein very ancient. Overall pleasant enough but not sure a return visit would be worth while

Charm of the building and warm welcome of the staff. The bistro restaurant was fantastic.
Cost of bar and cost of breakfast and no dining facilities in the bistro when the Michelin Star restaurant is open.

The chateau was absolutely out of this world. Lena on reception spoke perfect English and went above and beyond for us. The room was the most luxurious room I have ever stayed in, the spa was so relaxing and the food was incredible and delicious. It was more than 5*, the service was impeccable, and we definitely want to return.
Everything was perfect

This property is beautiful a real « Château » in the French countryside.
The park is stunning and the pool is a plus. There are lots of sunbeds next to the pool it is great. Pool towels are provided.
The room was nice, clean, spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Breakfast was great, a lot of choice of homemade food with options for people with food restrictions.
Special mention to the staff, everybody was charming and helpful.
We were surprised about two things in our room ( Canne à sucre)
- The bathroom was quite shocking compared to the room. We opened the door to a flashback to the 80's, pink bath, toilets and sink. There was a vague smell of drains mixed with air freshener. Not great really.
Also the beautiful « toile de Jouy » wall paper has seen better days. The walls are three different Colors because it has faded so badly with the sun the black is light blue in some parts. This is a 5 star hotel let’s not forget. It needs a bit of TLC.
The shower / Pediluve to get into the pool area is a bit random, it worked once every two or three people which provided great entertainment watching people get wet as they walked through in their clothes but is not great in reality for a 5 star.

Restaurant was uber fine dining for my tastes it would be good if it also offered an alternative mainstream menu.

Friendly staff, lovely building with nice rooms. A very welcome log fire.
The restaurant was superb, an experience never to be forgotten. The staff couldn't be faulted, they were so knowledgeable on both the food and the wines. Excellent presentation and delicious flavours.
The rooms are expensive, so we feel that breakfast at €29 should have been included. Any extras were expensive and overpriced.
We couldn't warrant using the Spa with the limited time given for each area.

breakfast - repeatedly not enough food,
the buffet was like in a 2 star hotel. its a shame also
given the high price you pay for the accomodation.

The staff were lovely and listened to our needs. The room was very comfortable and great to have a choice of bath or shower. Loved the quirky decor. Location is superb and felt like a real holiday even though we only had one night there. A wonderful Valentine's night away. Thank you.
