Sehr enttäuschend

Mir wurde als alleinreisender Frau ein Zimmer mit zwei gegenüberliegenden Türen gegeben. Diese Türen sollte ich nachts offen lassen wenn es zu warm ist. Die gebuchte Klimaanlage war nicht vorhanden. Den gebuchten Meerblick gab es auch nicht, weil das Zimmer im Souterrain lag. Direkt neben dem Hotel geht eine gut befahrene Straße vorbei. Es war laut bis 00:30 Uhr und morgens ab 05:30 Uhr. Ich habe nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht, denn obwohl ich bereit war, gegen Aufpreis in ein anderes, besseres Zimmer mit Klimaanlage zu wechseln, weigerten sich die Besitzer, das sei nicht vorgesehen, dass Einzelpersonen große und schöne Zimmer bekommen. Ich habe noch am gleichen Abend mit den Besitzern lange gesprochen, leider ohne Ergebnis. Da mein Urlaub eine für ich wertvolle Zeit ist, habe ich entschieden, am nächsten Tag das Haus zu wechseln und habe auf eigene Faust eine angemessene Unterkunft gefunden, es war immerhin Nachsaison, in jedem Hotel gab es freie Zimmer und ich spreche die Landessprache, das war also gar kein Problem. Auf den Bildern von booking.com wird ein Einzelzimmer gezeigt, dieses habe ich aber nicht bekommen. Das Zimmer das man mir zugewiesen hat, war eher eine umfunktionierte Besenkammer. Insgesamt scheint das Hotel eher etwas für Retro-Fans zu sein. Die ganze Anlage war wahrscheinlich in den 70er und 80er Jahren schick, nach heutigen Maßstäben kann man getrost sagen, dass eine grundlegende Renovierung nicht schaden könnte. Die Bilder suggerieren eine Größe und Weite der Anlage, die in Wahrheit nicht vorhanden ist, es war hier ein geschickter Fotograf am Werk Ich kann das Hotel mit seinen selbstherrlichen nicht kooperationsbereiten Besitzern nicht empfehlen.

Extremely nice hotel location, very attentive and caring staff, nice Italian breakfast, quite nice pool located in a beautiful garden full of ripe lemon and orange scents and absolutely exceptional view over the harbour from the spacious terrace. We really enjoyed sitting there in calm while either taking our morning espressos or aperitivos during sunsets. And, certainly, the hotel owner - Gabriela, a very charming and intelligent Italian lady, is worth mentioning. She really wanted her guests to enjoy their stay to the fullest. And she did look like a Sofia Loren to us at some point;-)

Wonderful place with a very nice garden surrounding the pool and restaurant area. Nice location a little walk from the town square. Very polite staff. Nice room. I hope we will come back some day!

We enjoyed absolutely everything during our 5 night stay in this perfect hotel! Our room was so nice and clean with the big balcony and the view we had was so beautiful! The hotel has an amazing pool, garden and a big spacious terrace for breakfast. The owners and all the staff we met were so lovely and kind. We will definitely come back next year! Everyone from the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was varied and very good, and the evening meals were also very good. Fantastic view from the terrace of the hotel, and nice and quiet pool! I will definitely be back if I have the chance!

Superb

Amazing views over the island and sea, beautiful garden and swimming pool. Well maintained property, peaceful atmosphere. Friendly staff, good breakfast with optional extra meals (lunch or dinner). We would come back here on a next visit!

Wifi reception not always great in every room. Room close to the reception could be a bit noisy during the day. Top floor room with shared terrace was excellent however.
