Nothing. Except for the natural beach and sand.
I dont like the fact that you make me pay for "all-inclusive" and still apply restrictions on which type of restaurants I should be dining and small window hours to dine. The hotel seems to have their own definition for the term "All inclusive. ".. The resort is more like a retirement place than anything else. There is nothing to do there, and the location was the worst as you are like in a big gated prison.

Staff, beach, pool the weather! Was all just amazing!
Nothing not to like!

All the stff was amazing, even we are staying more days here. Highly recommended this excellent place.

Cleanliness and staffing was perfect.
african food or menu shoukd be always.

All the stay was amazing, if we go back to Zanzibar we will stay here for sure, no doubt. The staff is super nice, very friendly all time, Justin from the bar is the best!! Also, the views, the beach, the room and all the facilities provided are perfect.
The breakfast was good but the dinner and lunch should be better, it will be better to have more different food options. Chicken with too many spices was the most repeated dish, I’d like to hace more options to choose.

The service and. Staff were excellent.clean place
?…?ALSO TRY TO HAVE A SHUTTLE TO STONE EVERY TWO TO THREE HOURS

Location and staff was great. Restaurants was not great but they have many varieties.
One of our room had a weird smell , like a really intense bug spray or oven gas. Even though they never sprayed that room due to my son's allergy. When I talked to housekeeping about it, they said they don't smell anything. Although it was really strong for the 4 of us.

Amaizing resort, great stuff, big rooms.

The property is so serene and a perfect place to ease your mind
Nothing to mention
4.3
1.) The staff was outstanding! Very friendly, mostly English-speaking, fast and reliable. They made us feel very comfortable and the "Hakuna Matata" attitude war also quite nice! Room Service was also great!
2.) The view on the beach was very very nice and the change between high tide and low tide was quite impressive every day
3.) The resort war very green, very nice typical Afrian Architecture and many blossoms and grass. Nice view from the rooms (we had 427)
4.) The food buffet had a wide variety and you could choose between many dishes no matter if with meat or vegetarian.
5.) If you place a special food order the team made it possible which was very nice.
6.) The All-Inclusive drink selection was very nice. Including 3 nice local beers.
1.) This is my individual problem as I don't like this: If you prefer "real food taste" like with fried fish or steamed vegetables, you need to place a special order as ALL food (except pure rice and fruits) is spiced. Mostly heavily and almost all with garlic.
2.) The Air-Condition was way too loud and the remote control never did what we wanted it to do. On: Too loud (no silence function). Out: You sweat to death. We suppose when the rooms were renovated, they forgot to exchange the 15 years old Air Conditions.
3.) The Internet was a pure catastrophe! Slow, not stable or we had no internet at all in our room which is absolute standard these days. Some times we had to wait some minutes to publish an Instagram story. And you could not upgrade. If you want to make a Whats App Call with your family, you had to go to the lobby or the restaurant. I have the impression that it did not change the past 10 years and it does not take into account that quite every one (especially the kids) are using their phones constantly which kills the bandwidth in the whole club. I had to manage my business emails on the bar instead of in the morning/evening in our room.
4.) The doctor service is a joke. So better not be really sick or wounded. We had diarrhea and my wife had vomiting. First, he was not in his office as scheduled (daily 10 am to 1 pm) and we had to wait more than an hour. Then the doctor gave us expired tablets for the diarrhea and the tip to "drink tea with lime and the vomiting goes away". I thought he was joking but he did not have any medication against it. If you have sth serious like heart problems, stroke or badly wounded you are done!
The points 2.) and 3.) are not good. But after I heard that the club owner is the 3rd richest man in Tanzania, it makes my head shake.

How do I begin? I have traveled around the world - 35 countries visited so far and I have to say Zanzibar is now at the top of my list! People are friendly & very welcoming especially at the Neptune hotel - from the security staff, receptionist, waiters/esses, cleaners, managers, chef to the animation team. They have absolutely been all lovely, professional, accommodating and welcoming! Anything you ask, they will do everything from their side to make it happen. I forgot my phone charger in my previous hotel prior to arriving in Neptune and Receptionist has managed to kindly contact the hotel, go in person in hotel and get it back to me. Absolutely outstanding service! It was my birthday and they sang for me to celebrate my birthday, offered me a cake made just for me and made feel special :-)
Room, facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurants - all were absolutely stunning
Even on our last day, we checked out at 6.30am and they still managed to prepare us lunch boxes (breakfast starts only at 7am)
Thank you so much Neptune Hotel for making my stay unforgettable
Asanté Sana!!!

food was terrible.
past best before dates.
buffet was stale

There was a great selection of breakfast foods, including an omelet and eggs Benedict station, the coffee was hot and excellent. The servers were friendly and prompt. The view of the ocean was lovely too coming from a cold Canadian winter!
Gift Shop could carry a better supply of toiletries and men’s sandals. Our luggage was lost for 2 weeks so we desperately needed everything.
4.3
the property it self was really good, the food was nice, staff was very friendly.
4.3
Great stay! A little slice of paradise! The staff were great, the location beautiful! What’s not to like!
4.3
The beach is beautiful,
The room is clean and has an African charming design,
The all inclusive food is surprisingly ahead the usual and the restaurants are offering quality meals that are prt of the package,
The landscaping is beautiful.
Staff should implement stronger SOP to minimize Covid risks (Staff should in my opinion serve the dishes and not let all guests picking what they want by themselves from the buffet). Dishes should be more secured.
Security should control a bit more the villagers around the hotel to not harass guests when they walk on the beach in order to push them to buy souvenirs at their shops next to the hotel. Nevertheless and after having complained about this issue, security did handle the problem efficiently for the peace of the guests to enjoy their holidays.

Location
Reception staff were too slow in responding to any request or a question . When you book “All Inclusive” you think you are free to use all hotel facilities but it’s not , you’re only allowed to use one main restaurant for all meals while the rest are open only for dinner and must be booked earlier which was disappointing. The worst part of our stay was the day we were celebrating my friend’s Birthday , although I made a special request in advance but they ignored my request and also the themed dinner was ruined because they were not serious about it.. in overall review it was below my expectations.
Wifi was TOO bad and disconnected almost all the time
