A must book!

What a fabulous stay! Staff were so accommodating, friendly and completely made me feel at home. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious. Fantastic breakfast (well needed after a few wine trams in the local area!). The location is so quiet that you can't help but to relax! Karin went above and beyond making sure I was able to get to and from a local wedding, by recommending a fantastic taxi driver Tyrone. He was so professional, informative and reliable-a must book if you are staying here. I honestly was so sad to leave as it is such a beautiful place with such beautiful people working there- thank you again team for making a solo traveller feel so at home!

De kamer is in orde en de locatie is ook OK. De stoelen aan het zwembad waren vrij comfortabel. Het ontbijt is basic maar OK. Ik geef de voorkeur aan een ontbijt in buffetvorm.

De safe in de kamer was kapot en toen ik het de eerste dag vroeg kreeg ik het antwoord : "This safe is broken. Een koelkastje in de kamer zou aangenaam zijn.

Tranquility bliss

We enjoyed the tranquil location. It was so lovely to have breakfast in the garden and enjoy the birds. The rooms were lovely and the bath was a bonus as was the ability to purchase the Foothills wine with an honesty system. Also loved the lakeside walk.

A Definite must if you are in that neck of the woods.

The place was in a beautiful scenic area and was easy to find. The guest house is safe, and I felt secure at all times. The room was warm and cosy, and the food was freshly made and tasty. I will be going back.

Absolute bliss - I will be back!

I loved it all. Karin who runs the guest house is fabulous and so accommodating. The staff were wonderful. It was so peaceful with sheep, guinea fowl and squirrels running around. Beautiful views. Lovely big pool and comfortable sun loungers. It was a perfect few days to switch off and relax.

The peace and quiet surroundings were super and exactly where we were looking for. The quality of the cottage was outstanding, very comfortable. Our host Karen and her personnel were friends the moment we met them. Absolutely the place to be. We will be back.

Beautiful guesthouse in a prime location- close to the center of Stellenbosch. We felt extremely safe. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was super friendly and attentive.

Peaceful, beautiful stay

We only stayed one night (should have planned longer!) and arriving on a Sunday afternoon. Karin was there to greet us warmly and gave some good advice about Monday morning traffic that helped us avoid a problem getting to the airport the next day! We stayed in the main house and it's absolutely beautiful, with very comfortable rooms (the beds are amazing). Everything was perfect.

We loved it so much, we stayed again on our way home!

Our 2 stays couldn't have been any better. Karin and her staff took such good care of us and our two rooms/apartments couldn't have been nicer. Our view of the mountains was spectacular and the sheep and their new lambs were such a joy to see and hear. We were treated like we were their family while we were there! Absolutely - STAY HERE!

A real escape to a peaceful space

A wonderful tranquil oasis with friendly staff who made our three days a real highlight of our trip to the Western Cape. The breakfasts were just perfect and a chance to drink some of the local wine made the evenings in the country so relaxing.
