This is a very comfortable, well-equipped apartment located very close to one of the gates into the Old Town of Lecce. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. There is also a Conrad supermarket less than a kilometre from the apartment. The only minor irritant is the presence across the road from the apartment of a mobile fast food van which can be quite noisy in the late evening and early evening. But it didn’t really disturb us much.
The Old Town of Lecce is impressive with plenty of interesting sights and buildings but we also used it as a base to visit by rail a number of nearby towns including, Monopoli, Brindisi, Taranto and Gallipoli - all worth a visit.
Altogether a very enjoyable holiday in an excellent apartment

Communication with the hosts and their flexibility to meet us for check in was most appreciated. This is an old family home. The location is very convenient to visit historic district. Free parking was available within a few blocks. Note that there is street noise, and there is an outdoor casual food truck across from bedroom windows that was open until 5 am and very hard to sleep thru.
The apartment is in need of cleaning.
The floors were not clean cob webs around and you could feel the dust on the bathroom walls. The older doors had so much paint they couldn’t close properly and required door stops.
For the premium charge, there needs to be better guest essentials, ie, bathroom products, one bath had no shelf in shower, and add space for personal things. Only one hairdryer for a 3 bedroom apartment. There were no luggage racks and had to spread out on the old furniture.
the kitchen could be enhanced by adding toaster, modern coffee maker, microwave oven, proper cooking equipment that one would expect to find in a premium rental. There was a table for a TV, a cable hookup at the table but NO TV.

Paola and Maurizio's Casa Greco apartment was a wonderful place to stay in Lecco, so convenient to the city's historic center. Their apartment was spacious, super clean and comfortable. Maurizio was such a gracious host and was immediately avaliable to answer any question and to assist with any travel arrangement.
We highly recommend this apartment and would book again should we ever have the good fortune to revisit Lecce.
Thank you Paola and Maurizio!

We absolutely adored our stay at Casa Greco and can't recommend it enough. Just steps away from the historic city centre, it's a perfect location for a family. The rooftop patio is magical in the evening and the very large and immaculately clean apartment is well appointed with everything you need for your stay. Our most sincere thanks to Paola and Maurizio, who were the perfect hosts and couldn't have made it easier or more enjoyable for us. We hope to be back soon!

lovely apartment right outside the old town. In 2 minutes, you're in the heart of old Lecce which is so
beautiful.
the apartment is very big. we loved the terrace above the apartment and used it every early evening to have a drink or two before heading out to dinner.
The washing machine was great too. there is free street parking a couple of blocks away or paid parking right down the street. truly enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful apartment for two couples in a great location for exploring Lecce. Highly recommended.

A very large, clean and well decorated apartment. It suited us very nicely. We would highly recommend this apartment for your visit to Lecce and it's surrounding towns. And it was so very close to Old Town; just a few steps and you are steeped in the history of this fabulous town. It was the greatest of pleasure to explore the avenues and old alleyways of old Lecce. The hostess and her daughter were very responsive and personally showed us around the apartment. We had everything we needed for our stay.

This is a terrific property. It is located just outside the Lecce old city walls, a quick walk to two of the beautiful city gates that give easy access to the historic center with all the sites and restaurants and cafes within reach.
With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it has plenty of space and is comfortable. It is an older building but it has been maintained well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need and we enjoyed breakfast each morning as a family in the apartment.
The hosts, Paola and Maurizio are quick to respond and very friendly. They provide all the information you need for parking, arrival, and departure, etc.
Be aware that the living space requires climbing a flight of stairs, with no elevator access. There is also a lovely private rooftop terrace up another flight of stairs -- a nice place for lunch or evening drinks depending on the weather.
The building is on a busy street but with the windows closed at night, noise was not an issue for us.
There are multiple affordable parking options nearby and we did not have any issue finding a space in the closest lot.
We enjoyed our stay in Lecce a lot and highly recommend this property as a way to experience Lecce and the surrounding area. It is easy to use Lecce as a base and do day trips to Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca, Ostuni, etc.
We were traveling with our older parents and they also enjoyed staying here. We would definitely return to this property and recommend it highly.
Grazie Paola e Maurizio!

The apartment was spotless, lots of room to spread out and everything worked. It is a downtown location so noise was an issue due to traffic, a nearby food truck and 4 am garbage pickup. Our biggest challenge was parking. There was none and we were parking in a lot 15 minutes away. If you are coming by car be sure you are clear of the parking options as the owner takes no responsibility.

Great stay in beautiful Lecce. Our hosts were very kind, welcoming and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in Paola & Maurizios apartment in Lecce. The apartment was enormous and everything was spotlessly clean. Upon arrival we were greeted by Paola and a "welcome basket" with wine and local delicacies. Very sweet gesture. We were introduced to the apartment and given their mobile numbers in case we had any questions. The apartment is located literally just outside the charming and beautiful historical center of Lecce. We found the city wonderful and the apartment to be in perfect location. Easy to drive up to. Easy to park nearby and convenient location for exploring Lecce on foot. The private roof terrace was a welcome wonderful bonus to chill on warm summer nights and have breakfast in the mornings. Very secure neighborhood and wonderful friendly hosts. Thank you Paola & Maurizio for a wonderful stay. We would not hesitate to return some day.

Loved it!
The very best location for exploring lovely Lecce is this apartment! Its advantage was further enhanced by the immense help offered by our hosts, Maurizio and Paola, in every way. Maurizio even got up very, very early to help us check out and carry our baggage down to the car! We send our appreciation to them for a very successful stay.

Excellent Location, Great Hosts, Comfortable Apartment
The apartment is ideally situated adjacent to the old historical part of the city, and is quite roomy with an entrance way, three bedrooms, dining room, reading room/office, and a full kitchen, along with a large open rooftop to enjoy outside dining or just relaxing. What makes the apartment even better is the warmth and attentiveness of Paolo and Maurizio, the hosts. They were quickly responsive to very communication from the initial booking to the end of our stay. Lecce is a wonderful city, and if/when we return, this is the first apartment I would check out.

Great Experience from Beginning to End
The property is exactly as pictured. It is Very spacious. Excellent Location. Comfortable, clean, most anything you would want or need in the kitchen, laundry, baths. And HUGE! By Italian standards and compared to most places we have rented over the last 25 years.
And to top it off Amazing Hosts in Maurizio and Paola. Very responsive for the initial contact to departure. Great restaurant recommendations and tips on the local markets from fruit to pastry.

Wonderful stay
We spent a great week in Lecce and loved this spacious and beautifully appointed apartment. Maurizio was a most gracious host with excellent restaurant suggestions Supermarket and convenient parking nearby. Even though it was November we used the large terrace often. The apartment is right on the edge of the old town. We loved Lecce and this apartment. We hope to return!

Our one month stay was superb! The photos do not capture the true essence of this incredible apartment! It’s simply fabulous! Maurizio and Paola could not be more helpful or kind. We loved every minute of our stay in beautiful Lecce. The location was excellent. Thank you to Maurizio and Paola for helping to make our dream trip a reality.

Lecce - A Must Visit Holiday Destination
From the first moment of our arrival in Lecce we felt at home. The warmest of welcomes from Paola & Maurizio which includes a lovely welcome basket of Leccese goodies. The apartment was well positioned just outside of the walled “old town” - an easy 5-10 minute walk and you are within the walls of this beautiful, completely intact baroque city. Inside the apartment, it was all we could have asked for and more - light, bright, airy with big rooms, superb kitchen, well appointed bathrooms, laundry etc and to top it off there is a fabulous roof top which guests have to themselves. From here you can almost reach out and touch rooftops of Lecce. And while the Old Town is fantastic, do yourself a huge favour and be sure to check out Lecce proper - find Piazza Mazzini and you will find a shopping paradise along with caffes, restaurants and all other manner of interesting places. We (4 adult women) loved it and highly recommend “Casa Greco” for a family or for a group of friends.

Home away from Home
This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location, just outside the historical town of Lecce. Maurizio and Paula were wonderful hosts and supplied helpful information for the area, as well as arranging some transfers for our group.
The apartment was cool and comfortable in the heat of summer. We enjoyed lovely afternoon breezes through the house and the stunning outdoor terrace. The rooms are large and there was plenty of space for our party of 5 adults. It felt very private and secure - a real
home away from home!

Spacious and comfy apartment
Maurizio and Paola could not have been more gracious hosts. They took care of many details for us and were always prompt to answer when we had questions. Their apartment is spacious and perfect for a family or, as we were, three single women. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom! The location is ideal. It is right near one of the entrances to the historic center of Lecce. We took three separate day trips outside of Leche to very interesting areas, which makes Lecce- a good jumping off point to explore Puglia.

Great location with terrific patio
This is a fantastic place with one significant downfall. In the lot right outside the bedroom windows is a very popular food truck that is open all night long. The appartment windows did not keep out the noise. If your a night owl or use to a loud nights sleep the appartment is great. The roof top patio is outstanding the beds were comfortable and owners were very nice.

A wonderful experience in this lovely apartment right outside the gates of Lecce.
My husband and I enjoyed feeling like ‘ex-patriates’ while staying in this beautiful, large apartment. We were able to tour all day and then stroll into town each evening for dinner. There are many interesting and beautiful towns within an easy drive, and we found Lecce to be a lively, ‘real’, Italian town with historical sites, lovely shops and a variety of restaurants, wine bars, and dining options. Hope you are there are a Sunday evening when locals and tourists alike enjoy a light dinner and strolling the streets. The owners are gracious and helpful and the apartment is beautifully maintained with two modern bathrooms and a roomy kitchen. We never actually cooked, but it Is nice that there is a dishwasher. I hand washed some laundry, but there is a small washing machine (no dryer) in a nice laundry room. For me, the only thing more I would have asked for is a coffee maker. There are nearby cafes for yummy cappuccinos, but I missed my morning coffee in the apartment (didn’t know how to use that Italian press.). We visited in early October and had great weather so we were able to use the rooftop garden a couple of times. We had a car which I strongly recommend for touring and we parked it in a nearby parking area for a weekly fee. The apartment is very conveniently located for a five-minute walk into town and to grocery stores. The living space is one floor up from the street, but since it is located on the corner of a fairly busy street there is occasional street noise; however, we never found it to be a problem. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Clean, spacious and convenient location
I was highly impressed with the property in terms of cleanliness, amenities, layout and convenience to exploring the historic district (it is a 5 minute walk to the arched entryway). Marizio and Paola were the ultimate hosts, communicating to me in a timely manner prior to our stay and greeting me upon my arrival. They were even helpful in securing transportation to/from the airport (I recommend the shuttle service they suggested). The only "negative" is that the street noise was excessive well into the early morning hours. This could not be totally abated by closing the windows, and it was quite hot with the windows closed.
This property is ideal for couples or families. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and although one of the 3 bathrooms is off the kitchen, we each had our own private bathroom. I would definitely stay here again!

We were six people who shared this apartment jus outside the old town of Lecce. Everything was within walking distance (except the football stadium). The apartment was clean and well maintained and offered everything we expected. Maurizio was very welcoming and helpful. Even the two dogs in the neighbour apartment were very friendly. The only little idea for improvement would be to increase the number of glasses, cups, and plates to avoid the dishwasher run twice a day. A coffee machine (brewer) would also be of use.

A wonderful home away from home in Lecce
Thank you Mauricio and Paola for a most amazing 4 week stay in your home . We very much appreciate your fabulous communication before and during our stay. The apartment is HUGE - very comfortable for our 4 people and would be great for 6 too. The rooftop patio was used many nights with a beautiful view of the Duomo. The furnishings, linens, kitchen amenities were great. Thanks for your gifts of cheeses, wine, fruit and tarali. Thanks for your tips on restaurants, bike rental (ability to store them inside the lobby) , and most importantly beach advice depending on the wind! We hope to return again soon and highly recommend your home to anyone coming to Lecce.

Beautiful Vintage Apartment Just Outside the Walled City
Casa Greco is a lovely vintage apartment, located just outside the historical city wall. It is an easy walk to the Duomo and all the historical sites. We were a party of 5 (2 couples and 1 single) and we were quite comfortable here. The apartment is very clean and there is a fully equipped kitchen, as well as an outside area where you can use the charcoal grill. Maurizio and Paola were available to take care of all our needs. The only downside is the traffic noise and the food truck located opposite the bedrooms, which stays open until 4:00 AM. We used earplugs and joined the food truck crowd one night for a quick meal and drinks. Overall, a great stay.

10 Days I Lecce
We loved everything about our time in Paula and Mauritizio's house on the edge of the old town. The accommodation is perfectly located to enjoy all that the city has to offer - we will especiallly remember trying out the bars, cafes and restaurants and joining the crowds for the evening "passeggiata".
The house met all our needs, being spacious and well equipped and was ideal for two couples.
Thanks Maurizio

Perfect and authentic
We had a wonderful stay at this property and in Lecce itself. We had 10 days here and we had an amazingly relaxing time at the apartment. We were able to completely unwind and enjoy the peace and serenity this luxurious apartment offers. It is wonderfully spacious and comfortable using all traditional Italian furniture and decor, which made it perfect for us (we wanted the Italian experience and we certainly got it!). The apartment has a wonderful terrace - the pictures suggest it might be shared, but I can confirm it isn't - it's all yours for the time of your stay! Maurizio and Paola are wonderful as the property owners - nothing was too much trouble for them and the whole check-in and out process was simple.
Overall, my wife and I can highly recommend this apartment and the stay in Lecce and in southern Italy generally.

Fantastic house in perfect location!
The house is so spacious and lovely. Beautiful new kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was perfect including the location which is steps from the amazing historical center of Lecce. Also the beaches are only 20 to 30 minutes by car and are also beautiful. The location of this house is perfect for exploring other sights in Puglia. Maurizio was so helpful and kind.
And another bonus is the huge roof top terrace! We had a fantastic experience!

Wonderful Experience
We recently stayed in this lovely apartment while we explored Lecce and the surrounding area. The apartment is big, bright, comfortable and very clean. It feels like a family home and we truly appreciated the welcoming we received from Paola and Maurizio. They were amazing and helped us with everything, from transportation to and from the train station to finding the best restaurants in town. The rooftop terrace is lovely, although it was a bit too cold for us to spend time there. Hope to return one day and take advantage of it...Wonderful apartment and lovely owners, we enjoyed an excellent experience all around!

Spacious, comfortable and clean with character, and a great location, too.
We three friends - two guys and one gal - stayed her for a few days and couldn't have been happier. Three bedrooms here so we each had our own private space, and our female friend had her own bathroom. There's a third, full bath off the kitchen that we didn't use. This apartment is enormous, truly larger than my own home! The classic terazzo floors a beautiful and clean, the furnishings are just enough - no clutter or overstuffed chairs or dust-gathering doilies here. Light pours through the huge windows, which have classic interior shutters to regulate the sunshine if needed. We enjoyed eating our in-house meals in the large kitchen, and starting our mornings with fresh espresso made with the traditional little stove-top espresso pot supplied. We were out wandering Lecce most of the time, and it was wonderful to come "home" to such a comfortable, secure place. The enormous rooftop terrace is another brilliant feature. We visited in March, so it was a bit chilly to take meals up there most days, although we did bring our lunch and wine up on one sunny afternoon to happily dine al fresco. Maurizio and his wife are very thoughtful hosts who went out of their way to ensure our comfort and to guide us. (They reserved a table for us at their favorite local restaurant for our first lunch in Lecce shortly after we got off the train from Rome, and I have to say the plump, tender mussels there were the best I've ever tasted.) My bed was very comfortable, and I'm fairly fussy about mattress firmness vs. softness. I found mine "just right." Also worth noting: Excellent Wi-Fi access and speed, lots of storage space everywhere, including bedrooms and bathrooms, fantastic rain-head showers with abundant hot water and water pressure. A fresh town market is a 3-to-4-minute walk away, just outside one of the three old city gates in the old walled city, where we bought fruit, amazing local mozarella cheese ( a must-taste) bread, roasted chicken, etc. Entering and exiting the lovely baroque town every day through the grand, ornate portal is like stepping back in time and then emerging at the end of the day in modern Italy. Lecce is a long haul from Italy's major cities - our fast train ride from Rome was about 5 hours - but it has too much going for it to remain out of the tourism spotlight much longer. We hope to return for a longer stay next year!

Wonderful Apartment
The host greeted at a meeting place and escorted us to the apartment, they were very helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was large and met all of our expectations. The host left us a lovely basket of goodies that included some necessities such as coffee and olive oil. The apartment is located right outside of the old city, so very close to everything. We had a lovely time.
