Short and sweet.

My partner and I had booked Kommeno Bella Vista as a place to relax during our last day in Corfu, as we had a very late evening flight. Spiros and his family were so welcoming and accommodating; even allowing us early check in and use of the pool before our room was available. We would have loved to have found this place sooner; the location is absolutely stunning, and the accommodation was perfectly suited to us. Thank you guys!

Amazing stay at the Bella Vista!

Everything! Hosts were very welcoming & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation fantastic! Studio was larger than expected with a Fabulous view from the balcony. Very clean, well appointed and lovely crisp white bedding and very comfortable bed. Pool and gardens immaculate. Excellent location with several restaurants close by, including one below the accommodation. 10 out of 10 from us, and we will be back!! Thank you!

Peaceful, relaxing with stunning views

Everything! The warm, friendly welcome and the availability and advice of the owners throughout the stay plus the friendliness of the wider staff. The pool and grounds are so well maintained. The apartments are spotless and are cleaned every other day throughout the stay. Shower was great with plenty of hot water. Kitchenette is well equipped. Bed was so comfortable. Air con was great (and most welcome). The location: just the most stunning views, peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous grounds. Still with three tavernas close by, a short walk down steps to the beach, and a mini market across the road that had the most lovely staff and plenty of produce for our breakfasts and lunches. There are several flights of steps and the surrounding roads can be a little steep in places-it's probably sensible to be aware of this. The pool is beautiful. Spotlessly clean, large, almost always quiet during our stay (we never struggled to find a sunbed), and some afternoons had it completely to ourselves! The surrounding tavernas were delightful. We ate in Apovrado (directly opposite the apartments) 4 times as we enjoyed it so much. Panorama had lovely staff and food, too (short walk along the lane). About a 20 minute walk to the main road for frequent buses to Corfu Town. Another mini market/taverna with delicious ice creams and pastries at the bus stop, too. The beach is lovely. It's operated by a local hotel but is available to all. We spent three mornings on the beach and it was very relaxing and peaceful, also there was no charge for sunbeds/parasols! There are pedalos, paddle boards and small motor boats for hire. Also some boat trips from this beach. All in all, it was a lovely relaxing holiday and we will definitely return. Thank you to the owners for running such a lovely place.

A beautiful, peaceful, relaxing stay!

We adored our stay at the beautiful Bella Vista and felt truly welcomed and looked after by Spiros and his family. We had a peaceful, relaxing stay and the view from our balcony was absolutely incredible. Being just a few steps away from the pool made for some easy, lazy days and having breakfast and lunch on our balcony watching the sea was exactly as I'd hoped it would be! We spent some of our time locally at the beach at Dafnila Bay, walking to the Church of Hypapante, and taking a long stroll into Gouvia, but also had a car and bike during our stay to make getting from A to B a little easier and allowing us to explore the rest of the island. The benefit of the peace and seclusion of the complex means that the main road is a little walk away. Walking to the bus stop, down to the beach or some of the local bars and restaurants includes distance, steps and some inclines. A small mini-mart for basics and Apovrado bar & restaurant are much closer.

It was a shame that we arrived just out of season for the poolside bar to be open (early September) as that would have been a welcome addition to our stay, but the combination of our apartment being close enough to the pool to easily grab a drink or snack and there being a bar / restaurant (Apovrado) just below the property meant that we didn't really feel we missed out.

The pool, the view, the terrace, the Mediterranean Sea, the board sleeping on the Mediterranean Sea, the beach down the hill on the Mediterranean Sea, the staff, etc etc and more etc

they didn’t have free food, free drinks, cocktails, and ñ trips to the stars around the moon. We did learn how to differentiate a star from a planet though. We simply loved it and will recommend it forever.

The apartment is lovely and the view is spectacular. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. The area is beautiful and we would definitely be going back.

The owner was very nice, helpful and organised. Good breakfast, big pool , awesome sitting area . Downtown 20 min by car , also there is bus station with walking distance 900 m can take you to town . Better to have car so you enjoy the island

Amazing. One of the best places we stayed in and we have been to places all over Europe for holidays

Views were to die for from our room and the pool area, in fact from anywhere in the hotel to the blue sea. Very peaceful area. Excellent taverna within very short walking distance with also amazing views over the bay. We ate there 3 nights and were never dissappointed with excellent seafood/fresh fish and local dishes. The owner Spiros, his wife and son Alex made us very welcome. This is a lovely clean family run hotel with amazing views. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and we can't wait to return next year

Amazing place and view

Amazing place with nice yard and absolutely breathtaking view from the terrace. Hosts are very welcoming and cooperative, we had late flight and Spyros's son met us at reception around 1 am. There is small beach just down the stairs, where there is boats rent. Blue bus stop is about 15-20 min by walk and you can take the bus to the capital or elsewhere, we travelled easily without car rent. There are also few restaurants nearby for a calm dinner. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

We were upgraded , we could enjoy even more the amazing view from the balcony. The size of the pool is perfect. The appartment (kitchen included) is well equiped. A car is needed. but you can reach everything easily from Bella Vista. We recommand to stay at Bella Vista. Spiros, thank you for your warm welcome, for your advices. We will come back :)

A wonderful place to stay in Corfu

Absolutely fantastic place! Very calm and relaxing! Spiros and his wife are extremely lovely people, very friendly, welcoming, hospitable and helpful. The hosts really make great effort to make sure their guests feel great! We had a 2 room apartment with a terrace. The view was just astonishing! The apartment itself was superclean, nice , the kitchen was very well equipped (an oven,a toaster, a teapot, a coffee machine, all the utensils etc). The apt was cleaned every second day. Although the Bella Vista is localized a bit aside the main road, there is a nice restaurant right below and a nice small beach just down the hill. The access to the beach is quite steep though, but it is normal in Corfu. the pool is nice, clean and refreshing, one can dip in water with the great view. Breakfast was really nice (but the same everyday) - it was not a problem though. I would absolutely come back. And I totally recommend this place to everyone!

Absolutely fantastic break, so lovely to wake up to the beautiful view every day and so peaceful

View is absolutely amazing, can just sit and admire it all day. Hosts Spiros and Voula were lovely, really helpful and friendly - Spiros is brimming with helpful suggestions of what to see and do on the island.

Wasps! there seems to be a bit of a wasp problem in this area, they were always buzzing around sometimes in quite large numbers.
