Perfect stay in phong Nha

Ms.linh the host is the best you can get , she is awesome and helped me with booking the tours and also with good recommendations of shipping my bike to next town … while on the bus I forgot some of my stuff and realized that after it wad gone , I messaged her at 6:00 am and she sorted this out for me and managed to get my belongings back …. They organize family dinners I believe everyday in the common area , which is great to meet other backpackers… very recommended

Just the hot watet didn’t work in my room but the common one was working fine

The host was very helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome in her Homestay! She also always responded very quickly whenever I needed help or just had a question! She puts a lot of effort into her work! Definitely recommended, if I ever go back to Phong Nha I will go back there! Thank you!

The building has a lot of missing windows and construction going on. No welcome drink. Transfer to bus stop had bad organisation

Very relaxing stay at the Green Riverside Cosy Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Green Riverside Cosy Home. Linh is really dedicated to help out her guests and made us great suggestions for unforgettable expedition to a beautiful cave. We could rent a scooter there, had a delicious and friendly family diner a few nights, and her parents even made us diner when we arrived at 10pm the first night. Lovely breakfast and views over the river. Thanks a lot, wish you the best for the future!

Nice place by the river

The location was perfect, right by the river so you could just jump in for a swim. The room was large with 2 big beds and a table and chairs. The bathroom was large with the toilet far enough away from the shower so it didn't get soaked every time. The family were very nice and helpful, you could borrow a bike to cycle around. Linh was able to help with tours, onward travel and information. They could do your laundry for a reasonable price. The coffee was nice, the food adequate. There was a fan and air conditioning in the room.

There were so many mosquitoes in the bathroom! This cannot be helped but maybe some citronella would be a good idea. There were limited drinks and we had to find someone to open the fridge and pay each time, I wonder if it would be easier to have a tab book and pay at the end,

Great place to stay

Ms. Linh who works there is an angel and makes your stay very pleasant. Location is good, it’s nice to sit by the river, it’s clean and the family dinner was pretty good.

Superb location..Linh the owner is amazing..she sorts everything for everyone..from a family meal with her great family today motorbike hire from the house .bus tickets and endless advice on trips and excursions... The friendly atmosphere drinks and chat was shared by all guests young and old alike at this riverside hotel ..If you're heading to Phong Nha....check it out

Linh is the best, she helps you so much during your stay!! She shares all her knowledge of the area and of the tours available even though it is not apart of her service! They also offer a family dinner which really brings everyone staying there together over a meal and exchange travel stories

Incredible host!

Lovely Linh looked after us and everyone who stayed there. Most amazing and friendly host we have ever had at a home stay. she picked us up and dropped us off to the bus stop, organised our cave tour and had lots of local knowledge to share. The family dinner is delicious too! rooms are comfy and big. We travelled in December so it was a bit damp.

Best hostel for the value of money

Linh was so helpful like nowhere else I have been. She organized a pick up from the bus station and let me check in early. Also the Cave tour they offer was a great experience. End of the day her family cooks a delicious dinner you shouldn't miss out. Additionally Linh invited us to her home where she teaches kids english. That was really sweet to see.

- our host was very friendly and helpful - good location - dropped us off and picked up from bus stop - offered laundry

- electricity went out everyday ( maybe someone switches it off) - very loud in a morning starting from 6am waking us up and is continuing all day

The owner is really nice and helpful. The food is delicious and it's cooked by her mother

Didn't have high expectation because it's really cheap. However if the water heater can be fixed would be great. Because it took quite some time to get hot especially after someone used it. Other than that it's all good

The rooms are big and comfortable. The bathroom is huge, plenty of hot water. Amd. Lyn is very accommodating and always present when you need her.

Amazing homestay - a must stay in Phong Nha

I had the most lovely experience at Green Riverside Cosy Home while exploring Phong Nha! The room was by far the nicest place I have stayed in all of South East Asia. Linh and the family were incredibly helpful and friendly and put in every effort to make my stay beyond enjoyable - they picked us up in the middle of the night, welcomed me with a smile, and were extremely helpful with all my questions. It was such an amazing experience, highly recommend it! 200%

Linh was incredible! She picked us up at night in the pouring rain when we arrived. She booked our cave tour activities, provided us with mopeds and arranged our bus when we left (and took us to it). Absolutely must stay here if you’re in the area.

Great stay, lovely owner

Really lovely stay at this homestay! The owner, Linh, went out of her way to help us. She picked us up from the bus stop very early in the morning and made sure she could help us in anyway possible. The room was very comfortable and a really big size!

It’s not the most central accommodation, a quick bike ride or perhaps a 15 minute walk to the centre.

Ms Linh is the asset to this property.

This is an amazing property if you deal with Ms Linh. The food was very good, and we were even offered meals at 10pm (or later) which was very welcome after a long day travelling. Ms Linh did many things to try and help you with travel arrangements or suggestions and even went out of her way to try and make your stay great. We had booked one night and then trekked one night and then back to the hotel the next night, and during this time we were allowed to leave our bags in the room which meant we didn't have to check out. That was great. As we had arrived late, Ms Linh came and picked us up at the bus dropoff as taxis don't operate at that time... so always check with your property how they suggest you get to their establishment on arrival. If you are in the main house, there is a great view from the main room which looks out to the river. Ms Linh even organised for us to have a massage after we finished our trek, which was great... unfortunately the massage wasn't - this was not the fault of Ms Linh.

A bit of confusion over how to get into rooms, and an air conditioner that didn't work. However, Ms Linh promptly moved us to another room when she wasn't able to get the repairman to come and fix it. There was no fridge in our room unfortunately. There is some renovations still happening in the main house rooms, so please don't be discouraged by that. Those things are just superficial. We did think this property was on the river, but it is across the street and overlooks the river. ... this is not affiliated with this property, however, don't get a massage at Thu Hang Beauty Spa, unless they have gotten a lot better.
