The owner, Mr. Abay and his staff are extremely helpful and polite. Arranged pick up for us at the bus station with cons

Property is relatively new. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is also big with additional pillows for added comfort. Most rooms are located at the with unobstructed view of the fields.

Wonderful staff went above and beyond for our time in Xieng Kouang

Our stay at Sipanya was exceptional! Not only were the facilities comfortable and clean, but the staff went above and beyond to help ensure we had the best trip possible!! Special shout-out to Mr Souk for taking us on an excursion to Piew Cave, a Hmong village, and to see the bomb craters on the Ho Chi Minh trail.

Would prefer the shower to be a bit more separated from the rest of the bathroom. When we showered, the whole bathroom got wet.

Memorable tour and customer service at Sipanya Guesthouse

My short stay at Sipanya Guesthouse in Phônsavan exceeded my expectations. From the considerate attentiveness of the staff, Chinda the On-Site Manager and Mr. Souk, my Tour Guide and Driver, it became clear that the Sipanya Guesthouse prioritizes excellent customer service. I enjoyed a free and timely airport pick-up, a spacious and clean room with en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed, delicious made-to-order breakfasts, help pre-arranging a tour to several Plain of Jars sites and the Mulberries Organic Silk Farm, and, additionally, the staff showed patience and resourcefulness while helping me resolve a payment issue. But what made the stay most memorable were the hours I spent with Mr. Souk learning about The Secret War, the archaeological digs around the Plain of Jars, and how Laos has changed over time. His tour was informative and really came alive when he shared stories from his own family history. Highly recommend Mr. Souk as a tour guide and Sipanya Gusthouse for a stay in Phônsavan.

I’d stay there again.

The hotel is only 4 or 5 years old so is in good condition. Beds are comfortable, the shower is hot, works for me. The hotel has recently opened a restaurant, breakfast and evening meal are available. One great feature of the hotel is Mr Souk, the hotel’s in-house tour guide. Unfortunately we only had one day to spend in Phonsovan and Mr Souk tailored a private trip for 3 to Plain of Jars sites numbers 1, 2 and 3 and delivered us to the airport in time for our evening flight. Mr Souk speaks good English and is a font of local knowledge, he gets a 10 out of 10.

Un séjour de rêve.

Qualité d'accueil exceptionnelle à tous égards dans une guest house très bien située,à proximité du centre tout en étant excentrée,jouissant ainsi d'un calme parfait que le voyageur apprécie beaucoup.A cela s'ajoute l'agrement que procure le logement : chambre spacieuses,bien aménagée,bien éclairé,très très propre et une literie dont le confort est de premier ordre.

Il n y a vraiment rien que je n'aie pas apprécié. Je me suis tout de suite très bien dans cette guest house.

Friendly place in Phonsavan (& great guide)

The hotel was clean and comfortable and very close (walkable) to the main street. Mr Souk was there when we arrived and greeted us warmly. We ended up joining Mr Souk on an already planned tour of sites 2 & 3 plus noodle making and Spoon Village plus a few other things. The tour was excellent, more than we expected. The makers we met seemed genuine and impressive and it was all timed so we saw no other tourists the whole day. Mr Souk was knowledgeable, insightful, and enjoyable to spend time with. So I highly recommend staying here and/or using Mr Souks guiding services.

Hot water was finicky.

Excellent!

Abay and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Very quiet location. The room had a comfortable bed wih a warm and cozy duvet. They organized a good and interesting trip. There is a free pick up from the bus station. Several restaurants are within walking distance of the guesthouse. We can highly recommend this place!

Bien pour une étape courte

Bon emplacement à 5 minutes du centre, personnel sympathique qui nous récupère sans frais à l'aéroport,, emplacement charmant, bien pour une étape de 2 nuits pour la plaine des jarres

Équipement salle de bain, particulièrement eau chaude, un peu limite, construction un peu bruyante, pas de petit déjeuner proposé.

Endroit calme mais un peu loin du centre à pied pour des seniors.

Gentillesse du personnel . Free pick up. Calme.

N'a pas de restaurant sur place et est loin de la rue commerçante.. Pas de petit déjeuner : problème quand on doit partir en excursion de bonne heure. Free pick up: attractif mais il faudrait préciser que le transfert retour reste à la charge du client.

A quite and interesting trip

There Was a Pick uo at the busstarion and Mr. Souk brought me to the airport. As their were no more people for the plain yars, he sent me to Mr. Kong to have a shared tour. Thanks you.

piccola oasi di pace in mezzo alle montagne

ottima accoglienza e comunicazione prima del nostro arrivo. posizione tranquilla e vicina ai servizi (ristoranti, bar…). abbiamo approfittato della visita alla piana delle Giare. Mr Souk è una guida eccezionale. Camera semplice e pulitissima . Ci hanno aiutato anche nel l’acquisto del biglietto del minivan per Luang Prabang. disponibile anche il pick up dall’aeroporto, su richiesta.

Cheap and cheerful. Very good value for the backpacker.

Staff were excellent, accommodating and offered fantastic tours. Also provided free pick up from the airport.

It was a bit out of town, so walking back in the dark after dinner wasn’t my favorite. Beds & pillows were also very hard. Would be good if there was an option to also purchase breakfast.

Mr Souk is the best!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Great location, big and clean rooms. Staff is very friendly, especially Mr. Souk. He's awesome, giving great information for your stay and does tours to the jar fields and other locations nearby. Free pick up from the bus station was a nice bonus

Spacious, clean, and comfy room. Exceptionally helpful staff and pick up from the bus station by Mr Souk with whom I booked a tour. Mr Abay went above and beyond when my Vang Vieng bus was cancelled due to landslides, finding alternative solutions

I really recommend you to stay here!

This hotel was so comfortable. We didn't hear the sound of cars, so it was really easy to sleep. When I wanted to ask questions, the staff gave me replies so quickly. I was really happy. Also, I wanted to join the tour of plain of jars. The staff arranged the program of it, and I enjoyed it. I had a wonderful time in Phônsavan!

There were a little bugs inside the rooms. However, this hotel is in a natural place, so I don't care about this problem.

Exceptional

The guest house is new, clean, very comfortable bed and a great hot shower, big room, and good location. Only 5 minutes walk to the main street, very easy. Abay and her staff went out of their way to accommodate me, with included transfers, and then picking me up at very short notice when my flight was cancelled. This is my favourite accommodation on my 8 week trip!! Thankyou for a great stay!!

Very helpful friendly staff. Nice room. And hot shower.

Local Cockerell likes to sing all through the night. Some dogs barking in night. As a guy I was OK walking back at night, but might worry a girl as not well lit along dark back streets .

Lovely guesthouse, amazing staff and very comfy beds!

- Big comfy bed, good nights sleep - Very clean - Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mr Souk and Abay, they spoke very good English. - Free pickup from the bus station and helped organise transport to Vang Vieng. - Staff we’re very helpful with organising trips to the Plain of Jars and other activities. - Good location, short walk from the Main Street with shops and restaurants.

Clean room, helpful staff. Always water bottles in room. 24 hour free tea and coffee available.

No F&B facilities. Strange toilet paper in bathroom, very thin and it turns black when in the water.

Best attitude to guests

The owner and stuff of the Sipanya Guest house were very kind and welcoming. Saying honestly the attitude to guests was the best of our three months traveling expirience. Thank you for transfer from and to bus station. The room was clean, hot water ran well. The location is also very attractive, and funny geckos all around. We loved them very much. We also kindly recomend to book tours from the guesthouse. Our guide Mr. Souk showed us everything, even more what was not in the tour programm. He has very good English, so ask for him if you stay in Sipanya guest house.

Friend recommended this place and it was perfect! Great place to stay at a great price. Location was good, wifi was good, and staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Khay. Learned so much from him, not just about the sights in Phonsavan but other locations around Laos as well. Cannot wait to return here again! 👍👍

We had a fantastic stay at Sipanya guesthouse. Mr. Souk was more than welcoming and we availed of the 1 days plaine of jars tour with him which we greatly enjoyed. Delicious free coffee in the lounge every morning too. Highly recommended.

It has been a pleasant experience staying in this nature surrounded guesthouse.

Staff very helpful and accommodating. They helped book our transport and were able to meet our requests promptly. Rooms are clean and quiet. Drinking tea/coffee at veranda overlooking the farms a few metres away is an experience not many city hotels/guesthouses can offer here. The location is good and is a walk away from eating places.It has been a pleasant and relaxing experience staying in this guesthouse😊
