Absolutely horrendous experience!!
The view from the hotel in the backyard is good.
It is a 4-star property but seems like 2 star. For them money is more important than satisfied customer. They asked me for advance payment even even if on booking.com it said pay at the property. They said if I don't pay they will cancel my booking. I booked Hinton Garden Hotel the next day at trivendrum, a 5 star hotel excellent property and amazing staff breakfast included but much much much cheaper than isola di coco. The bathroom was open in the backyard, the corners had fungus and cracks in the walls, lizard in the room , and tons of mosquitoes early in the morning and late evening. The breakfast is also not included in the price - almost 7k for a night , overpriced! Way more than 5 star hotel!! High headed staff!! I asked for pool which closes at 6.30pm. If people are going out for activities outside, they would come back to their hotel after 6 or 6.30 but their pool closes at 6.30 which is quite strange. They don't seem to be customer oriented and are very rigid. it seemed like I was talking to robots. I waited till 6.30pm the pool was full of people and the area was crowded. Dint find that relaxing at all after such a long day of travel!! They had another pool which I asked to use, the answer was a straight NO!! They are not accommodating or considerate at all!! Their pool and other areas are also not marked, so the paths are not user-friendly!!! All their cottages were not even occupied, and they said that they would cancel my booking if I would not pay them the advance, which is against the rules of booking.com. I booked Hilton at the same time for next day and they never created any fuss for the advance payment as it said pay at property!! I checked out of di coco hotel early morning to leave for next destination. The staff called me and said I owe them 700rs more as one of their staff member did a mistake in calculating the price of the room when I checked in!! Well! That's their problem and not mine, still they kept bothering me.

Very poor
The location was beautiful and the property is done up nicely.
The welcome at the reception was great. Everything after that went downhill. There are strict hours for the restaurant. Outside of the hours, very few options are available to eat. Every time you ask for something, person on the phone has to ask their seniors every single time. Why are uninformed people receiving the calls, one doesn't know. Every small request takes hours to complete. There was a group of rowdy youngsters who spoilt our quiet holiday right from the morning. It took the management almost an hour to even attend to it. Never try the floating Sea Queen restaurant. It is way over priced. We were charged 1000 rupees for a Prawns dish which was just usual Indian spices. The Carremeen fish was priced at 800 bucks. It did not even have salt in it. Neither the interior of the boat, the seating nor the food presentation deserved that price. This was more than 5 star rates for less than 2 star services. Room service is not cleaned until the next day. The whole property is fitted with ugly white lamps which make it impossible to feel any warmth. The living room lighting was not enough to see the food while eating. There is a large pool of still water right in front of Room 15 which was cleaned God knows when. When beer was ordered, they didn't even have the courtesy to open the bottle. When called for an opener, they asked to find it in the room when it was not there. Ugly plastic mugs used to serve beer. The only saving grace is the open bathroom. Otherwise a complete no-no for people seeking a quiet, peaceful vacation

Defenilty worth a stay
The location of the property was absolutely incredible, with breathtaking scenic beauty all around. The staff were exceptional, providing top-notch service and making our stay even more enjoyable. The pool was fantastic over looking the beach. We were especially thrilled with the unique feature of a tree house. The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, creating a perfect atmosphere for dining. Additionally, the accessibility to the beach and boating area was very convenient, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding natural beauty. Overall, every aspect of our stay was truly amazing.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a few areas where attention to detail was lacking. I booked three rooms, but did Wi-Fi did not work in 1 room. Only 1 room I booked had the type G electric socket, the other 2 had type D. So we found it hard to use our mobile chargers we use outside India. It would be good if it was consistent across the rooms. The quality of the food was generally good, but there is room for improvement. We also noticed inconsistencies in the facilities among the rooms. Quality of certain amenities, such as the kettle, TV set top box/remote control, safe etc could be improved. There was no general instruction documentation provided. There were issues with leaking shataf pipes in all the 3 rooms I got. Despite these concerns, our overall experience was enjoyable.

Good
The location is excellent and the food is very good with many varieties, especially breakfast and dinner.
While the resort offers several positive aspects, it is important to acknowledge areas where improvement is needed. Room maintenance, in particular, could have been better during your stay. AC water leakage was observed in three of the four booked rooms, because of which my daughter slipped and fell. Fortunately, nothing severe happened as this can be seen as a lapse in maintenance protocols. Additionally, there was an issue with the balcony light in one of the rooms, and the hot water supply proved to be irregular.

Was truly a grand experience!
Great location!
Would be nice if they can organize a free boat to the beach every morning! Just add it to the room price. Also put rubber mats on the jetty so people don’t slip

Please provide Clean Tap water and bed linen.
Location, ambiences and staff
Water from the tap is a disaster, smells so bad that don't feels like to open the tap anymore. Bed linens were asked to removed as it was dirty upon arrival, however the fresh ones even have more stains and not cleaned properly.
