Urlaub, fast, wie im Paradies

Die Lage ist optimal. Wenige Schritte zum sauberen Strand. Sehr schöne, gepflegte Gartenanlage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Todd und seine Frau organisieren Roller und auch die Abholung vom Resort und buchen eine Weiterreise zu einer weiteren Location auf dem Festland. Die Bungalows sind sehr, sehr sauber. Essmöglichkeiten um das Resort ausreichend vorhanden.

Nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen, keine Ablage für Kleidung. Die vielen Moskitos. Dafür kann das Resort aber nichts.

Wer Ruhe sucht, wird sie hier finden!

Wir hatten Bungalow A mit Meerblick. Unfassbar schöne Sonnenuntergänge von der Terrasse aus zusehen. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, egal was man braucht, alles wird organisiert. ( ein Roller, die nächste Reise usw.) Wer ungestört sein möchte und Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wasser gibt es kostenlos, eine Mehrwegflasche wird zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir werden definitiv wieder hier herkommen.

„Ach, geht’s uns gut!“

Ich war bereits vor fünf Jahren im Starlight Beach Resort. Seither hat sich der Zustand der Unterkunft nicht verändert - es ist weiterhin traumhaft schön! Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben. Die Anlage wird liebevoll gepflegt und gehegt, fast jeder Wunsch kann hier erfüllt werden. Einfach toll!

Es gibt nur kaltes Wasser, was jedoch überhaupt nicht stört, da es sehr warm ist und die kalte Dusche eine willkommene Erfrischung darstellt.

Location was great. Right on the beach. Staff was very helpful and manager had good english

Wrong season to visit. Beach had lots of debris and swimming wasn't fun. Most bars, restaurants closed.

Perfect to spend your holidays on a calm and relaxing place

A small resort on the beach front of kho phayam bufallo beach. The bungalos and huts are in the jungles. You can wstch many birds and of course be aware of many onsects and reptiles. We spend a few days at starlight resort during low season more or less alone. Only two other couples were there. Perfect place to avoid mass of tourists. You get into contact with locals and dive into real thailand. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The island is small but still natural. You can rent a motorcycle from the resort and discover the whole island.

Due to low season the restaurant was only open for breakfast. But there's a small and very good restaurant right next to the resort (30m on the beach)

Exceptional

We spent a wonderful week at Starlight. Our bungalow was cozy, bed nice a good, had a good mosquito net, bathroom surprisingly generous and the little terrace in front perect for hammocking. We were there during green season, so there was some low key maintenance work going on in some of the bungalows, which is nice to see. In general, the whole place looked very well maintained and looked after. The beach below is stunningly beautiful, nice to swim, walk or just relax and listen to the waves. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, probably not enough guest during the low season, but there was excellent breakfast, all day coffee, and a perfectly good local restaurant just next property over. Thank you to the extrelmly kind staff for taking such good care of us.

Very good

Great little place with cabins set mostly in the jungle. Cabin was simple with fan and mosquito net so perfectly met our needs. Right on the beach and easy access to all the other hotels and restaurants. Great little terrace at the end of the garden overlooking the sea. Todd and the other staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway.

A nice resort on Koh Payam island

Absolutely stunning position of the bungalo with panoramic sea views. Very pleasant and accommodating host. Nice garden around the property. Many good restaurants nearby.

Lovely quiet resort on buffalo Bay, we stayed in a brick bungalow with Garden view, these are only a 1min walk to the beach though. The room was clean, a good size and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was great and they served the best coffee we've had in Thailand! Its also located near lots of other places to eat and drink. If you want a beach room book early as they are very popular with repeat customers.

Eat, relax, enjoy

We have been to Starlight Resort before and appreciate most of all the owners, the staff and the location. Starlight is a little gem and I fear if I praise it too much, I will never be able to get a bungalow again :-). Starlight comes with all you need: ocean sound while you are asleep, an amazing sunset view, affordable food, local restaurants close by (not that you need them, the restaurant at Startlight is fab), local hornbills, a motorbike rental for customers of the resort, the Hippie bar in walking distance and just the perfect holiday vibe. It is great value for money! It does not come without mosquitoes and with a hot shower. But hey, who needs a hot shower in 30 degrees? And Starlight clearly posts a warning sign on your door about the time of day mosquitoes are out and about. So just sit back, eat, relax and enjoy!

An absolute dream location for a Christmas in paradise, but bring your bug spray!

Beautiful location on the beach, perfect for sunset and a short walk along the beach to the Hippie Bar. Lovely breakfast. Owners are really helpful, we hired a scooter from them to see the rest of the island and unlike other places we’ve hired from in Thailand the scooters were in great condition.

Our bungalow was furthest into the jungle and because of that there were plenty of mosquitos. They have a sign saying about feeding time for them is between 4-7 and that was pretty accurate. We couldn’t sit outside our hut because of them which let the accommodation down slightly. Not the owners fault but a consideration for others who are prone to being bitten, perhaps pay a bit more and get one of the huts closer to the beach. Also be prepared for a cold shower!

Great place to stay at buffalo bay

Well maintained resort with a beautiful garden in great location, very friendly and helpful owners. If you are not on a tight budget and looking for a very comfortable place to stay its here, there is also very good restaurant with excellent service. Highly recommended.

Great chill place to stay

-great location at beautiful beach with amazing sunsets -tasty food -nice host -rent motorrollers directly at hotel for 200 Bht -blanket was provided directly after asking for it

-bigger wardrobe would be nice -only cold water for showering -some ants etc. but that’s life in the dschungel ;)

My stay at Starlight was really an outstanding experience. I had initially planned to stay 3 nights and ended up staying a week! The rooms are well equipped and very charming, and you will fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Apart from the obviously amazing location, Starlight has a great staff that is caring and attentive to your needs. The restaurant was also really good and I enjoyed having breakfast and dinner there. To sum it up, this is a place you will not forget!

Only negative point: I had to leave eventually!

Good place but full of mosquitoes!

The superior bungalow is very nice and comfortable. The staff is really kind. The beach is perfect for swimming and relaxing.

The standard bungalow is not comfortable. There aren't mosquito nets in the windows so you have to have them closed all the time. Mosquitoes make very difficult to enjoy the place. There aren't many services around, you'll need a motorbike for almost everything.
