What a beautiful hotel!

Really great location. Lovely staff. Beautiful building. Very clean establishment with a nod to the past days of elegance. I will stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel. If you are traveling with more than 2 people, make sure that you book a larger room.

One large bed for two adults and a nine year old was uncomfortable. I offered to purchase a bigger room with an extra bed, but none were available. My fault really, for not being more careful when booking.

Für einen kurzen Städtetrip absolut gut gelegenes Hotel, aber Halbpension kann man sich sparen

Nach ca 20 min zu Fuß erreicht man gut das Zentrum, die Lage und Umgebung sind schön. Das Hotel sieht toll aus und ist gepflegt. Unser Zimmer hatte Toilette und Bad getrennt, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Trotz direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl gelegen, war es ruhig. Die Betten waren sehr schön groß und super bequem. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut und reichlich.

Der gebuchte Parkplatz ist sehr eng und da wir einen Stellplatz draußen gebucht hatten, standen wir leider unter einer Linde. Also immer einen Parkplatz drinnen mit Unterstand buchen. Das Zimmer war leider schlecht gereinigt worden und der Boden hat geklebt. Ist schlecht, wenn man ein Baby, das gerne krabbelt dabei hat. Der Boden wurde aber direkt nochmal gereinigt von der netten Dame am Empfang. Das Zimmer war klein, das wussten wir aber natürlich und für eine Nacht sowie zum Sightseeing völlig ok. Das Abendbuffet ging leider gar nicht, schmeckte nach nichts bzw. einfach wie aufgewärmt und war überhaupt nichts besonderes, es war ehrlich gesagt nicht mal wirklich essbar. Deswegen raten wir davon ab Halbpension zu wählen. Ja essen zu gehen in Oslo ist sehr teuer, aber im Nachhinein hätten wir das Geld gerne für ein tolles und schmackhaftes Abendessen ausgegeben. Auch das Personal am Abend wirkte lustlos und hat nicht mal gefragt, ob wir was anderes trinken möchten außer Wasser vom Buffet (vielleicht ist das hier aber auch unüblich). Trotz allem für eine Nacht war es gut und wir empfehlen einfach keine Halbpension zu nehmen

Great value, quiet area, close to transport around city, would stay here again if visiting Oslo

Arrival and staff - excellent. Breakfast - very hearty, plenty of variety, amazing. Room - decent size, comfy bed, cooling option, bathroom was nice but see below. Dinner - filling, well-organized.

Bathroom - shower knobs were too complicated for me lol. Plus bathroom floor got very wet from shower.

A lovely hotel experience

The location was leafy and quiet but walking distance from the City and Bygdoy beaches. The room was comfortable and had all expected facilities. The staff were wonderful, charming, helpful and informative. There were some really nice touches like the Fika at 3pm and free coffee. Breakfast and dinner were really nice. It was a lovely stay in a hotel that had a really nice family feel to it, you felt welcomed and at home.

We all really enjoyed our stay so not much to complain about.

A very good hotel to stay for Oslo visiting.

The hotel is in a quiet area with houses and old and nice buildings. The access to the main Oslo touristic objectives is very easy with trams no 13 and 12. Tram no 13 station is 200 meter away and tram no 12 station is 500-600 meter away. Also access to Oslo central railway station is easy with these 2 trams. The hotel have a nice and relaxing terrace in the front where you can stay after a full day in the city. Also hotel have a sauna, but we didn't use it. We was 3 families with 2 double rooms and 1 triple room. The rooms was clean and spacious. A special mention for bed quality; I usually have problem to sleep in hotel, but this time was very good. Breakfast was delicious with very good quality of food: few types of salami, 2-3 types of cheese, 2 types of fish plus smoked salmon(delicious), 2-3 types of jam, butter, a very good omelette, boiled eggs, yogurts, vegetables, fruits, 2 types of juices; a special mention for bread variety and quality. Coffee and teas are available at any hour in day and night on coffee machineries in the restaurant with very good quality of coffee. For dinner is available: only one main course with meat per each evening (chicken, meat balls, salmon), 2-3 types of salads, 2-3 types of dishes without meat. The food quality is very good even the variety is limited. In the dinner you receive only water. I want to thank you to a receptionist (Dana) that was very helpful and give us all the details about the hotel but also the main objectives of the city. All the details help us a lot.

When you leave the room even the door normally close automatically here was some moments when the doors didn't close. So it is important when leave the room to check the door if is closed.

Everything. Me and my boyfriend were very surprised over how nice everything was. We didnt exspect much for this money, but everything was perfect, very good food, everything was includet and the breakfast was amazing. We used the gym and the sauna and had it to our self.

Really nice hotel!

I liked this hotel - even though it was under renovation, there was still a lot available. The breakfast and dinner were really nice and I liked the restaurant. The rooms were also really nice and big. I appreciated being able to borrow the umbrella when it was raining and they were really nice and friendly at the hotel reception.

I only have some minor stuff. The hotel entrance was a bit confusing to find at first and I would suggest describing or marking it better. I was also a bit confused at the reception sometimes and some things were a bit unclear.

Amazing food, good location, nice stay

The location was good. At least three Public transport lines run to the main train station (15 minutes ride). WiFi was good (enough for Netflix), and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was amazing, versatile, tasty, great!

The room was a bit dull, old fashioned and not very big.
