A beautiful building in a quiet location and only a few miles to M5, so very handy.

Our second stay, as before everything was fantastic, delicious dinner and breakfast.. both times were a Sunday night. All staff are friendly and helpful and efficient without exception.

The grounds were great and we had a nice walk looking at their dovecote and secret garden. The food was also excellent.
The room was small and the windows needed painting. There was a dirty spoon and cup left, and no milk for tea.

Friendly welcome
Submitted a 'concierge' form prior to arrival (at the hotels request) and none of it was acted on.
Room lacked attention to detail
Bath and sink plugs had no chain
Toilet roll holder was loose and falling off
Shower had no safety mechanism so ended up getting burnt
Light fittings were dusty
Room windows not clean
WiFi was poor
All these points were raised at checkout and was told they would be followed up, nothing heard though since the visit. Wanted to call the review 'All fur coat and no knickers'.........

Attentive, pleasant but not over bearing staff. Excellent room , comfortable bed , lovely personal touches. Special dietary needs catered for. Looking forward to stay again....what more can you say!
It was all excellent and the staff including chef made it an excellent stay.
Cannot over 3 days think of anything to its detriment.

Service was excellent as was breakfast. Large and well equipped room.
The bed was hard and not very comfortable.

Really friendly staff . Room was spotless and the food outstanding 👌 will definitely be visiting again.
Room was on the small side and the bed was a little firm for me. But this is a very minor moan. We loved our stay.

Good parking right outside door, nice spacious room, soft comfortable bedding, nice fruit and cookies in the room. Friendly front of house staff at reception.
Received a call a few days before check in asking if I would like a table in the restaurant. I said I'd rather have food sent to my room which they agreed to. When I checked -in around 6pm (after a 4am start and working all day, missing lunch, feeling quite exhausted) was told we can only serve you 8pm onwards as the kitchen is busy and we don't have space in the restaurant for you to eat there either. In the end they did bring food to my room at 7pm but not sure why this fuss was made and relayed to me which added stress to my evening. I had to speak to the manager to request this, who insisted we would try to get food earlier but 8pm was the earliest they could guarantee it. I reiterate, the hotel knew I was coming at 6pm and wanted to dine in my room as they called to ask me this days before arrival. No bread was served to the room either like they give diners in the restaurant, had to ask for that and was brought up almost an hour later after dinner.
Additionally the sealant around the bath was moudly, such an easy thing to fix so not sure why it's not replaced.

Very Good
A couple of small issues in the room, Toilet roll holder loose, bedside lamp shade needs replacing, but this did not affect our stay in any way, and a loose floor tile in the Bathroom.

Fabulous place to stay, lovely staff and surroundings, so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Stayed 2 nights and room cleaned both days with fresh milk in fridge. Breakfast was to die for, all table service and plenty to choose from. Can’t wait to revisit again.
Couldn’t fault it, wanted to stay longer.

Rooms are spectacular!
nothing really!

Dinner, the look of the room.
Could not open the windows, room very stuffy. Pillows hard.

The room and breakfast were both excellent.
The wake-up call on the telephone did not work. It may have been a fault. A quiet knock on the door would be a good follow-up.
