Just amazing

Staff amazing, location wow, wifi good, food great, mountains view superb, lot of parking, ADAM SANDLER stayed there, amazing experience

No elevator BUT the receptionist carried our bags up, its a big property up in mountain so no elevator makes sense . I loved the curve road up , but if you are a driver that panics easily... its not the road for you

The views were stunning over the lake. Rooms were lovely and very clean. The food was amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful they got the chef to stay on and make us lunch when we arrived just after 2pm.

Fantastic panorama & great local dinner experience

The location of Locanda Sant' Anna is everything. The kitchen is also worth mentioning; the renowned restaurant has delivered on expectations and our dinner (focused on the local cuisine) was very nice.

lovely place, great location with a nice view of the Como lake

Although we booked a 1 large double bed, we got 2 single beds connected which wasn’t comfy at all. Breakfast was very very basic. We’ve heard that the restaurant in place is fab but unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to give it a try.

the restaurant served very good food, value for money. the hotel staffs are very well coming and friendly. nice views from the hotel and restaurant even though our room does not have direct view to lake. definitely recommend it

Best part of our Italy trip!

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful view. Clean and well-kept property. Phenomenal hospitality. Great dinner at the restaurant. Incredible wine selection/cellar. Great breakfast. Our favorite part of the trip so far!

The property is situated up a beautiful mountain. You get to experience an amazing view staying at this property!

Although there were breathtaking views when reaching the hotel, you will definitely need to hire a car or take your own to get there.

Fantastic location, exc

It is set in a beautiful location and our room had windows that looked over the back of the property onto the mountains, where we saw and heard lots of deer. The room was clean and comfortable with a good private bathroom. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was also amazing!! It was so delicious and they used seasonal produce and lots of local wines. They even had a mushroom menu! The buffet breakfast was also wonderful. Would 100% go back there again.

Perfect location to explore the beautiful Lake Como, whilst being away from the busy lakeside road.

Close enough to the lake and far enough from the lake. Useful bus stop to Argegno centre right outside. Plenty of parking.

A wonderful place, just perfect for what we wanted!

This place was amazing, friendly staff, amazing restaurant and wonderful wine selection. Close to everything and very quiet in the evening which was great! I highly recommend!

Beautiful Villa

The hotel had a great view and a beautiful room. I It was a cute town along Lake Como with good restaurants and a chill vibe.

The property was at the top of the hill and made it difficult to walk down into town. We chose to drive but then had to find parking at the bottom.

Exceptional

Locanda Sant'Anna was absolutely beautiful. The location above Argegno gave us incredible views down onto the lake and surrounding hills from both the suite balcony and our tables at both breakfast and dinner. The staff were lovely and helpful, happy to accommodate requests for us and perfectly able to understand us in both English and my imperfect Italian! The food at the hotel was incredible, as someone with dietary limitations my requests for alteration were easily met and at no point did I feel like I'd had anything less than an excellent meal. My partner had a similarly happy experience at all our meals, including a Tirimasu she called 'the best thing she'd ever eaten!' It's a short drive down the hill to the lakeside where there are plenty of places to stop for food or activities and although we did not explore public transport options for the lake area the train links to Milan from Como were cheap and reliable offering a great way to see another city without having to stay in a metropolitan area. If that wasn't enough reason to visit there is also an electric car charger owned and operated by the hotel and priced very reasonably, although Brits be aware it may only charge using 1 phase with a UK type 2 cable, so it would be best used to top up overnight if possible. We had an amazing time and would love to visit again. Grazie mille a tutti e alla prossima!
