La vue incroyable Le lieu très bucolique et éloigné de toute sorte de tumulte citadin Bungalow avec vue directe sur la plage et les vagues Le bruit des vagues pour s’endormir Le hamac sur la terrasse La vue du restau est magnifique + la nourriture thaï est très bonne

- il y a des chiens (au moins 10) partout sur la plage qui restaient toute la nuit devant les logements. Ils aboient toute la nuit donc impossible de faire une nuit complète sans se réveiller au moins 3 ou 4 fois - les chiens ne sont pas vraiment gentils et peuvent vous attaquer à tout moment - et vu qu’ils sont partout autour des bungalow c’est un vrai problème - personne n’est jamais venu faire le ménage dans notre chambre alors que nous sommes restés plus de 4 jours - aucune connexion wifi dans les chambres et celle du restaurant est assez mauvaise - la plage est très sale, pas entretenue ou pas assez (beaucoup de plastique) - on a payé une facture à la fin et on ne sait pas vraiment ce qu’elle contenait donc on a une impression de marge faite sur notre dos qui est très désagréable - le staff est adorable mais seulement 1 fois sur 4, on a notamment eu un accueil vraiment glacial qui ne te met pas dans un bon mood - le Paradis a un prix : dès que vous vous baladez un peu autour des bungalows vous voyez l’envers du décor (décharge à ciel ouvert, bouts de resort abandonné, plein de structures laissées à l’abandon, énormément de travaux pas terminés), tout fait un peu sale au global

Приятный персонал. Отличная кухня, повара профессионалы. Хорошее меню. Есть горячая вода, на этом плюсы заканчиваются.

Декабрь 31. Пляж не убран. Сильная слышимость внутри бунгало, Люблю собак, но их слишком много, многие из которых заражены. Сотовая связь не работает, вай фай есть только на рецепции. Очень тяжелый путь к номеру, крутые подъемы и спуски.

Tolle Aussicht und Atmosphäre, leider fehlt die Liebe und Pflege.

Aussicht vom Zimmer war Großartig. Das Zimmer ist direkt auf und in den Felsen gebaut. Vom Balkon prima Blick aufs Meer.

Der Strand war total verschmutzt. Viele, wirklich viele wilde Hunde am Strand. Der Weg zum Hotelzimmer geht über Felsen, was richtig schön ist bei Sonnenschein. Bei dunkelheit ist der Weg leider nicht beleuchtet.

I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights in a beachfront bungalow at Mai Pen Rai, and it was an unforgettable experience. This is not a place for those seeking luxury or modern comforts, as some reviews have pointed out, but that’s precisely the charm of it. The idea of my trip was to get away from civilization, and this place absolutely nailed it. Waking up on the beach, with the waves just steps away, is an experience that words hardly do justice to. The view and atmosphere are simply magical—a true escape from the hustle of daily life. The staff here are incredibly friendly and flexible, always ready to help with a smile. The food is excellent, offering a variety of flavorful dishes that add to the overall charm of the place.

Admittedly, the shower flow was minimal at times (I had to postpone my shower twice during the stay).

Bungalow en bois avec vue exceptionnelle

Emplacement exceptionnel face à la mer et très isolé dans les montagnes. Bungalow propre avec une terrasse et un hamac pour profiter de l’extérieur. Personnel aimable et attentionné.

L’endroit est très isolé et le moindre déplacement coûte cher (aller/retour jusqu’à la ville).

Magical serene Haad Sadat

Was here 20 yrs ago and feel it hasn't changed luckily. The accommodation is simple but adequate. Loved cottage 23 as it had a window at bed level behind our pillows so you received a lovely balmy breeze flow over you as well as just turn around and you have a magical view of the ocean and bay. The food was excellent as well as the staff.

Déçue dans l'ensemble

L'endroit est vraiment très charmant. Le rapport qualité prix, c'était très correct J'avais pris deux chambres différentes et j'étais mieux dans la moons chère que l'autre... Le bungalow qui était à deux pas de la plage C'est sympa à la réception, de quoi chiller Ils ont un service de taxi pas mal tous les jours et deux fois par jour pour 250 baht.

L'accueil moyen. La dame qui gère l'accueil à beaucoup de mal à décrocher un sourire (pourtant c'est pas faute d'avoir essayé). Les repas sont dans l'ensemble plutôt cher par rapport à ce que j'ai connu et pas forcément de très bonne qualité (salade de fruits sans goûts, curry très moyen...). Pas de réseau il faudra aller à l'accueil pour en bénéficier Emplacement très reculé, scooter pi taxi impératif pour pouvoir bouger sinon c'est l'ennui assuré (pour ceux qui aiment bouger) Ménage fait dans les grandes lignes mais salle de bain avec pommeau de couche verdâtre, pression de l'eau trees faible... Heureusement qu'il y avait le seau d'eau

La vue du bungalow on the rocks fabuleuse ! La plage est une des plus calmes de l’île, en étant motorisé l’emplacement est parfait.

Peace and serenity nestled into nature in an epic beach and boulder landscape

I love this place so much. For anyone who travelled to Thailand as a backpacker and now returns as a family (like us) it’s like time stood still. For anyone else it’s a wonderful piece of what I’d call the best version of thailand. The bungalows are rustic and wooden - perfect for hammock time. The bar plays Bob Marley and the staff are happy and relaxed. The beach is untouched and the food is wonderful. It’s old school Thailand in all its amazingness.

Cute Bungalow with amazing view! Calm area and beautiful beach. You can rent a Scooter there but you can also Rent one in town and easily get there on the scooter.

Ist was perfect:) Only note, there is Jo room service and nee sheets cost 2-3 dollars.

Exceptional

The most beautiful place I've been in Koh-pangan, the Nature waz woww, the river, the sea, animals, bungalows, the people, the food, everything was amazing!!! I didn't want to leave :)

The local sim doesn't work there, you don't have any calls or internet at all, there is wifi in the place but it doesn't work in the bungalow, if you need something from your phone you have to go outside

Amazing place with special vibes

This place is magical and really special. We love it. The nature, the beach and the bungalows in the rocks are unique. It's like the old Thailand, which you cant find anymore. The bungalows are spacious and really comfortable. The view is amazing. The restaurant was really good. The meals are delicious. The stuff is wonderful and really helpful. I can really recommend this place.

This is a little gem, we were soon addicted to this place. Gorgeous view from the bungalows on the rocks, sea is soon deep (you dont need to walk far for it), translucent sea after sunset, just magic. Very good food, best pad thai I got. Best beds of Thailand amd big rooms.

If you cannot stand bugs, this could be a hard place to be (especially the bathroom). Luckily theres a good hammock. It can get very hot (in April) and that can be tough without an AC. No wifi in the room (we liked that, but maybe for others not nice). Its secluded, so without scooter youre kinda 'stuck'. But we liked that as well :) stuck in paradise

The location in the national park was pretty nice.

The river view bungalow was kind a disappointment. They are placed near the facility services and laundry. The view was ok, however nowhere near to the rock/sea ones.

amazing beach, far from the masses. Bungalow are beautiful. Nice restaurant of the place itself, directly on the beach. Super sweet people. waterfalls super close. in a national park. next town is a scooter ride of about 15 min away

not a bad thing at all, but just to let ppl know: you need to rent a scooter or take a taxi to get there or go to places from there. we paid 800 baht to get there. no shop directly there. but since there are two restaurants, you can maybe also stay there all the time, if you have everything you need.

The view from the bungalow on the rock is amazing, we can see sunrise and moon rise from our bed which is very nice. Walking through the rock to get to our room is also a nice experience but sometimes if you forget things, it's not a happy journey. The first day it was not very windy so we can swim at the beach which is heaven for us.

If you plan to stay a long time, maybe it is better to book day by day, because, from the second day, it was very windy that it was impossible to swim or enjoy the beach, there was so much trash, and walking through the rocks back to the room is quite dangerous so we had to go around (up and down). We went to the West side of the island and it was so calm there that we checked out one day early (without a refund even though we noticed 2 days in advance) to enjoy our last day on the island. One tip is to rent a motorbike in the center (near the pier) so you can easily move around without paying too much for a taxi. Also, you should not put your food in the room or the rat may visit you at midnight and you cannot sleep well. It's still a nice experience, but something to note would be better

Everything- rooms leak, dirty with rats running around. Dangerous walk to the rooms that involves pretty mu CJ crawling through a cave can’t carry cases anyone with mobility issues or kids or not skilled rock climbers don’t bother

Great rustic stay with an incredible view

We stayed at the rock Bungalows and the view was incredible! Also the food at the restaurant is delicious and the staff is super friendly! The room was simple and rustic but spacious and the balcony is great!

It is a little bit far from everything. So if you want to be secluded its great but if you want to be more sociable it may be too far way.
