Beautiful condominium with all the conveniences for a fun family. On-site amenities include a swimming pool (open May until October 12), gazebo, large deck area, private parking and all of the standard items found in our homes (excluding individual outside showers). Tennis courts and charcoal barbecue grills are on site.
Carolina Sunshine has all the amenities to make your vacation comfortable. This condo is about 1,200 square feet with three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and sleeps 8 people.

Carolina Sunshine is part of the Indian Summer Condominium Complex, located in section F of Ocean Sands in Corolla. A short walk to the beach for an early morning run, day of play in the surf or a leisurely stroll as the sun sets.
The first bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk bed. The master bedroom has a king bed with its own full bathroom. Third bedroom has a queen bed. All bedrooms have plenty of closet space, dresser drawers, TV/DVD players, and ceiling fans. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The second bathroom is located off the main hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including a Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart griddle/grill/panini maker, Cuisinart blender and waffle maker . Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, bowls, dishes, cocktail/wine glasses, and a variety of serving utensils.
Carolina Sunshine’s large, covered deck overlooks the pool. An outdoor fan on the condo deck provides a lovely breeze on hot days. This condo is on the top floor, an end unit which assures privacy, peace and quiet. The pool is open roughly May-October and for the use of Indian Summer residents and renters only. There are plenty of pool chairs and dining tables available for your use on the pool deck. There are also grilling stations(charcoal) on the property, as well as picnic tables and a covered area poolside.
Carolina Sunshine is on the second floor and requires guests to climb two sets of stairs. There is a private carport on the ground level that will fit two cars, limited to two cars only of normal size. Also note that while it is a short walk to the beach, there is a stairway over the dunes in order to access the beach.
Each bed has a comforter, pillows, and extra blankets. However, guests will need to bring their own bed linens and towels, linens and towels are not included in rental Guests should also supply their own paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags).

Carolina Sunshine is conveniently located next to shopping centers and restaurants as well. The Harris Teeter grocery store is directly across the street, a short walk, as well as Duck Donuts, The Off The Wall Tap Room, Pizzazz Pizza, An Ice Cream Shop, Wings Gift Shop and The Wild Horse AdventureTours. A short drive to the north will bring you to the Timbuck II Shopping Village which has over 60 shops and restaurants. A little further up Route 12 is the 4 x 4 area is accessible where wild horses roam.
If you enjoy tennis, there are courts on site . For those who want to get in a round of golf, the Currituck Club is located directly across Route 12 and offers some stunning views of the Sound Side of the Outer Banks.

We love this condo - clean, well stocked and perfect location just a short walk to the beach and right across the street from grocery store, restaurants, shopping etc. Kathy was also very responsive and a great host. We will be back, highly recommend!

Loved the condo. It was just the right size for our family. Close to the beach and overlooked the pool. The house was fully stocked with games and books for rainy days. The only thing I would add is that if you have small kids or older people in your group there are a lot of stairs. But we didn’t so we were fine. Also, since it’s on the end the pool guy blocks you in every morning so plan your donut run around that. (There is a Harris Teeter and Duck Donuts within walking distance if you’re up for it though)

Very clean, updated and well stocked kitchen. Some toys and games are kept there which was a nice surprise for my kids. Bathrooms were very clean. Mattresses were in good shape and comfortable. Overall a very nice condo, we were comfortable during our stay. Easy to communicate with the owner when needed too.

Nice property. Enjoyed the location and amenities. Quiet, very close to the beach. Maybe I missed it in the original listing but I had no idea we were on level 3 until we got the actual address shortly before check-in. We managed with our luggage but it wasn't fun. Glad neither of us struggle with mobility. Reconsider please providing linens and towels. We flew in and this added to the bulkiness of bags.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we had an amazing time enjoying the condo and touring around Corolla and Duck. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy laying on the beach due to the rough rip currents and high waters so we enjoyed the community pool which was so refreshing. The condo was perfect and so cozy. We will def stay here again.

Obsessed with The Outer banks after our first visit, our condo was located in the perfect spot close to everything along with a very short walk to the beach. Everything you could think of was available in our kitchen. The deck with fan and shades overlooking the pool was our favorite hangout for meals and nighttime games. Can’t wait to go back♥️

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It's very close to the beach, the pool is fun for the kids, and the porch is lovely to sit on in the mornings and evenings. Pretty clean, and the kitchen had a good amount of dishes and utensils. Kathleen was very easy to get in touch with and responsive. Definitely recommend!

The condo was great. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Could’ve slept even more people if needed. Living room was spacious for all of us. Kitchen was well equipped. 2 full bathrooms were great. Loved having laundry. Beds were most comfortable of any vacation I’ve ever taken! The beach closet was great! Used the chairs each day! Our kids loved the pool and I loved being able to watch them from the covered porch. Location was great and beach was close enough and not hard to find a spot to set up for the day. If we come back to Corolla we would definitely try to stay here again! Thanks!

The place was better than we expected! Very clean and nicely decorated. The pool was perfect for our kids and the short walk to the beach made it easy for us to get anything we needed as we enjoyed the ocean. Wonderful Stay
Wonderful stay. Our family was in town for our nephew's wedding. Condo was clean, close to the beach and the convenience to the local markets made it very easy to shop. The bonus of being able to use beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon put this stay over the top. Overall, a great experience. We will be returning.

Wonderful experience
Karen was very responsive prior to our stay and when we arrived. The condo had the perfect amount of space for our family of 4 with plenty of room for more. It has a wonderful location to the beach, community pool and shops/restaurants in Corrolla. There were tons of wonderful amenities provided such as highchair, pack n' play and tons of beach equipment. The unit was very clean with the exception of some sand, dust and crumbs but was by no means dirty! We would definitely recommend it to others and stay there again ourselves. Thanks for making our first visit to the OBX a great experience!

Perfect for small families!
This 3 bedroom condo ticked all the boxes for smaller families. The first week it was just My husband and I. The second week my son, daughter in law and 2 grandsons joined us (almost 5 and 11months). Having the pack and play and the high chair in the rental was very much appreciated! Additionally, the well stocked “beach closet” in the car port had everything you needed for the beach (except a wagon but we brought one) ! The unit was very clean, kitchen was updated beautifully and well stocked, only thing missing was an ice maker. The beds were comfy …we bring our own pillows so can’t comment on that. Loved that it is an end unit….however be aware if you have larger vehicles it is challenging to fit 2 in the carport…we drive a full size F150 with a six foot bed and our son had a Subaru sedan. The VERY short walk to the beach was perfect and having the pool for the little ones was nice as well! We would definitely recommend this unit !

Quiet and close to the beach
For the second year in a row my family has enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo is very well maintained and well stocked. The beach closet offers everything you need for a day at the beach. The owner is most helpful if you have any issues. The condo is close to the grocery store and minutes away from shopping.

This was an overall excellent place to stay! Other then a dirty blanket in the closet, everything else was very neat and clean. Loved the fact that all we had to bring were sheets and towels. Kitchen has every appliance you could want with plenty of glasses, plates, and silverware. Beach closet was also stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

We have stayed in the same complex for several years and Kathy's condo is the cleanest, most modern, best equipped, and most comfortable that we have stayed in. We love the keyless entry, short walk to the beach and the welcome basket was a very nice touch. Kathy's communication and support was very timely and helpful. We will be back next year. Thanks!!
