About this villa rental
If your Chianti villa wish-list includes a hill, a view, a private pool and a property oozing with atmosphere, you'll love Il Trebbio. This two-storey stone-built villa is perfect for a multi-generational family or small group of friends to enjoy, both as a delightful place to stay and as a base for the Chianti countryside.
You'll find this creatively restored villa perched on the side of a hill with glorious views from its two terraces, the pool and even the bedrooms. The attractively stylistic architecture blends old and new, with exposed brickwork, and brick pillars offset by contemporary furnishings and brilliant white plasterwork. Features include a brick archway that subtly divides the lounge into two living spaces, wood-burning stoves, an open fireplace and an atmospheric dining room where you can dine amid the original bare stone wall. Should you wish to explore further afield, wine and olive-oil tasting can be enjoyed locally, while there are good walking opportunities among the olive groves and foothills. Indeed, you'll find that the popular Chianti town of Gaiole is also within easy walking distance.
