I have stayed at The Cottage multiple times and each stay gets better than the last! I can’t say enough good things about it: Safe & quiet neighborhood, great location, super clean, fully stocked, great patio, lovely front porch, communicative host and great little touches that make it feel like home. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

A charming little place with all the comforts and conveniences one could wish for. The owner is super nice and helpful. The back yard is charming and beautifully lit at night. All 3 of us were happy and comfortable.

The property was an excellent selection for our 4-night stay. So much nicer than a hotel. Very clean, well appointed with full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bath and nice den. Quiet neighborhood with on-site parking. The owner was delightful to visit with while we toured the back yard flower beds. Would certainly rebook in the future.

Patti is a great hostess she has supplied the house with everything you need, even scissors. Cute cottage with nice touches like hooks

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage in Santa Rosa.
The cottage had everything we needed and was very well equipped in the kitchen although there are so many good places to eat.
The neighborhood looks a little run down on initial impressions but feels very safe and is situated perfectly for accessing downtown. Definitely a case of not judging a book by it's cover.
The porch is a super place to hang out and watch the neighborhood wander by.
Beds are comfy and garden looks great but didn't take advantage of on this visit.
All communications with host Patti were prompt and efficient.
Would happily stay here again.

This cottage is clean, cozy but spacious, and in a great location for both walking around downtown Santa Rosa and driving around Sonoma County. It has a wonderful outdoor space and is fully stocked. Patty makes this place feel like a true home away from home. I will definitely be back!

It was my 2nd stay at the Little Old Cottage and it was even better than the first! This is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed at and I can’t wait to come back again!
Patti is a great hostess who pays attention to everything. The house has ample supplies and all of the little things that really make it feel like “home”. The location is great and is walking distance of downtown. Plus, you can’t beat morning coffee on the beautiful porch! Highly recommend!

I stayed at the cottage for two nights. Patti was a wonderful host! The cottage was very clean and well-equipped. The area is quiet and residential, but close to downtown and convenient to freeways. Folks with mobility issues should be aware of a large step down in the middle of the cottage, but it is well marked and wasn’t a problem for me. I would stay here again if I’m in Santa Rosa!

Property was very clean and quiet, which are the two things we most value in a property. It was close to a lot of great restaurants , maybe a 5 minute drive to most of them. Owner was easy to deal with. Overall a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Patti was very available if we needed anything. The cottage was exceptionally clean & had all of the amenities necessary. She had Keurig cups which was really great & even half & half in the refrigerator! We would definitely stay here again.

Patti is a joy to talk with. James and I just love our time here at her beautiful cottage. We always hope that when we visit Santa Rosa that the cottage will be available. Would not be the same somewhere else.
The location is perfect and the neighborhood is lovely to walk around.

I loved the cottage ! Everything was better than it appeared in the online photos .. extremely clean, plenty of amenities if needed, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and adorable front porch and back yard for enjoying morning coffee or evening wine. I also visited Taylor Mt. regional Park which was only seven minutes away for my morning run. Lots of trails and dog walkers ! Great place!! I would highly recommend this place and Patti was great!!!

Patti was charming, as was her house. She thought of everything, and, while we didn’t need to ask for anything, I’m guessing she would have been as present and responsive as she was throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend

The house and grounds were impeccably clean and comfortable. Patti was a kind and considerate host. It was such a pleasant surprise to see half and half in the fridge, and a variety of pods for the Keurig at check in. Other kitchen staples were also supplied. The shower was also amply stocked with shampoo and conditioner. My 86 year old father forgot his large print book, so Patti brought over a magnifying glass so he could read. We enjoyed our stay and hope that The Cottage will be available the next time we stay in the area.

Secret oasis in Santa Rosa
This adorable little cottage in historic Burbank Gardens was our home base for one week while we explored both the Napa and Sonoma vineyards. The cottage checked all the marks. The owner has thought about everything and left us wanting for nothing. Additionally, the host is a master gardener and her property is well cared for on the outside, too.

Lovely Cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Everything was very clean and functional. The cottage has so much charm and we really appreciated all the hooks & shelves in all of the rooms and cubbies by the front door to put our stuff. Patti was a wonderful host and we would definitely stay here again!

Great 2 bedroom house in center of Santa Rosa. Immediate area is in transition, but go one block and great area, big park nearby. Owner was on top of everything, easy access, very clean and nicely furnished.

Downtown Santa Rosa
House was very clean and well appointed for a brief stay including coffee and some wine for a nice touch. We were in town for a long weekend of wine tasting. Very convenient location getting to wineries in Sonoma and Healdsburg. Patti was very responsive and had good restaurant options only a block away. Also, close to historic town center. Would stay here again and recommend this place to others.

Cozy place
The property is fairly small but they make fairly good use of the space. I think that the neighborhood may be getting better as there are two buildings that look they are going to be replaced which should help the area a lot. One is an old style motor inn and it's hard to know what the other one was.
that are currently boarded up and that's a really good thing for the neighborhood. Lots of places are walkable. Parking is really tight. Fortunately this place has a dedicated spot in the front yard. If it didn't have that, it would be really impossible to find a place to park because beyond that dedicated space, there is not much else without going out onto SR avenue. All things considered, it was a good spot for us to "hub" out of for the family event during that weekend. I think I would consider staying here again but just be advised that the place is pretty small and if you only have one car to park, you'll be ok. Really nice host. Great follow up and everything works. Kitchen is beautiful and if we had felt like cooking, it looks to be pretty well equipped for that.

Darling Cottage in a great Location
This cottage in downtown Santa Rosa was perfect- in its size, appointments, and its location. It was sunny and comfortable - although our favorite spot turned out to be the front porch for am coffee, relaxing with a book, or recovering from a busy day. We walked everywhere in Santa Rosa- less than 10 minutes to multiple great dinner locations. Turned out that there were several wonderful breakfast locations ( full breakfast or bakeries) - sometimes we walked to breakfast, sometimes we walked to the bakery and came home for coffee and fresh pastries on the porch. The Luther Burbank Gardens were two blocks away (Never knew about Luther Burbank before the docent tour at the gardens) and the greenway for biking and running was a 5 minute walk. We used the spot as a launch for hiking in Jack London State Park and kayaking on the Russian River. Our host was wonderful and responsive. The house was appointed like our own house at home. This is a place not to be missed and we hope to return sooner than later. I already miss the couch on the porch!

Serene Cottage
This is a real home-away-from-home! From comfy beds to a restful front porch for morning coffee, it really made us feel relaxed immediately. Every space is so functional and comfortable and Patti has made sure you have all these extras like multiple coffee choices, half and half, and even champagne. She is a delightful person to visit with and thanks to her recommendations, we found remarkable food and the antiques we were seeking. Definitely our choice when we return to Santa Rosa!

Cutest little cottage!
Patti has turned this little house into a precious cottage, and she's a wonderful host. We really loved the cozy, private back patio and the comfortable, neighborly front porch. A lot of cool Santa Rosa is close by. Definitely go to the Luther Burbank Gardens - any time of day/week, and just walk around the cute neighborhood. Spinster Sisters is a wonderful place for dinner, just a few blocks away.
