Great value for money, big rooms and friendly staff, the owner spoke great English.

When my partner and I arrived at Hospedaje Papagrande Hotel we were met by the owner who had a warm smile and spoke really good English. She provided us with great information about the cenotes, restaurants and the town. The room was large, comfortable and had great wifi. The staff also let us keep our car in the compound the following day whilst we visited the beautiful Cenotes of the region.

Good value deal!

Simple, but very clean and spacious rooms, comfy beds. We stayed just for spent a night and go to some cenotes next day - so it was good enough for that. Host was friendly, gave some recommendations for eating place. Casa have a big safe yard for parking, if needed. There is no common kitchen or something similar, location is good, since all Homun is so small.

Nice Option to Use as a Home Base for Exploring Local Cenotes

The room was large, and comfortable. The location is outstanding if you're in the area to enjoy the cenotes (there are at least 15-20 within a three-mile radius of the town. The owners are friendly and helpful. The internet signal was strong and reliable. We were able to use a large refrigerator located near the front desk to store our food and drinks. It's a very secure, safe place.

We liked everything about the property, although we were surprised and disappointed to discover that almost all the restaurants in town are quite expensive, and the quality of the meals didn't match the price. One notable exception is a taqueria which is next door, but doesn't serve breakfast or lunch (it opens everyday around 7:00 pm). There are also some inexpensive eating options on the main square from stands that operate all day. One evening we bought tamales from a lady selling them out of her front door. They were very good and quite affordable. I don't recommend any restaurants in Homún except the taqueria next door to the hotel.

Recommend for your stay in Homun!

Great location in the centre of town, some cenotes within walking distance. Room was clean and tidy. staff were lovely and helpful. great stay!

No kitchen / fridge that we could see but not an issue as food close by!

Nice stay!

Convenient location in town. Easy to walk to restaurants and grocery stores for snacks. Power was out due to storms, and staff was very helpful by providing 2 good flashlights.

Entrance was difficult to figure out at first. Need to ring the bell at the open gate on the left side of the building.

Exceptional

It was one of the best stays we had here in Mexico. Quite central in the town of Homun, Papagrande has everything you need to stay some days. We also had cheap and very good breakfast there! The 2 doggies of the property are very nice too. Thank u very much for the comfy stay !

Clean and good value!

Spacious and clean room. Our room was number 8. Upstairs and no neighbor it was quiet and surrounded by greenery. There were 2 friendly dogs there. They are sweet dogs.

The room was very spacious and equiped with both huge ceiling fan and a proper ac unit. Excellent location and the staff was very helpful with information on cenote timetables and locations. There is a bike rental nearby, take one and go off-road cenoting :)

Nice stay in a remote pueblo close to many cenotes

Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff, uncomplicated check in and out

Air condition pointed directly towards bed, but a big plus that it was a modern AC

Dreadful, worst night in hotel ever.

No electricity, no generator, no air conditioning, windows wouldn’t open and no fans. Baby cried all night long and the hot air was suffocating.

Left days early due to no electricity and no back up generator. Went to Santa Maria Hotel instead and it was much better.

Clean, quite, friendly

Ivan is an excellent host! the property is clean, simple, with good Wi-Fi. Ivan helped us find a great guide, Angel Tzab, to Moto taxi us around to several cenotes.

Newly renovated rooms. Nice and comfy beds. Friendly welcoming staff.

The dogs that live on the properties. Always at the doorstep. Walls are very NOT soundproof.

very basic, but economical

the room was quite large with great ventilation. I was on the second story facing the street, so cannot say about other rooms. it was also remarkably quite.

the property itself was a bit run down, but many repairs were going on.

For the price it was good value but could be improved.

Friendly & very helpful staff. Free drinking water (although this was warm). Car parking. Lovely town. Great showers.

No breakfast available or hot drinks. Room temperature drinking water. Towels were very threadbare. Pool area not very attractive to hang out around.

Very nice staying and staff

Extremely helpful staff. The owner helped me to check my car which behaviour was strange. His sister arranged us driver Angelo who was also veey professional and very helpfull guide to cenotes and local food. Thank to all very much for help and nice staying. I wish to come again for more days.

Good, the pool is nice!

Ivan was the caretaker of the facility. It’s nice and quiet, safe good for families.

Not much... The rooms could use some nice artwork - neutral abstract type stuff. Also some of the lightbulbs were that ugly “blue / daylight” type. I prefer warm “yellow” light in living areas... but that’s really just personal preference.
