Ottima qualità prezzo considerando che abbiamo prenotato all'ultimo minuto.

The only thing I would say is that if you like peace and harmony, you can go to that, it’s very near to everything in the center of the city. It’s clean, smells good like incense in an old house with good staff and company!

We really like everything, the air conditioning climate in the rooms is always good, the free coffee is tasty, the massage we received, and the warm welcome made us happy and excited. The house is old and very beautiful.

I missed the free towel.

The breakfast

It’s close to the main square. Although the street felt somewhat sketchy at times. Lots of communal space and a kitchen. The staff weee nice.
The doorbell is really loud. So if someone arrives in the middle of the night, as is common with flights in Brazil, you are going to hear it. And if no one answers, you will continue to hear it.

Located near the Amazon Theatre, so restaurants and bars nearby. Kitchen available, small supermarkets just around the corner. Beds have curtains, reading lights and sockets.
Only one bathroom for several rooms, luckily it wasn't busy when I stayed here. And there is hardly anyone present at the reception desk.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Honestly, this place is a typical hostel, it's not fancy but it has the bare minimum needs to get you by. The kitchen is a good size, the shower works and is very spacious, the beds are comfortable. Manaus itself is incredibly humid but they don't turn on the air conditioning in the bedrooms until the evening, so it's nice when you sleep. I didn't have a sleeping bag so they gave me a sheet I could use (no extra cost) and I slept in warmer clothes (the ac was quite cool for me, but I was still grateful for it). The location of it is great, walking distance to the theatre and to restaurants and a corner store for food. It fits the price.
There isn't anything I can really say that I didn't like about the place. I'm of the mind, that if I'm paying a cheap price and it's clean and I feel comfortable then it fits my needs. Aldeia did just that. Obviously I wish the air conditioning was on all the time, but I understand that it could be expensive, especially if we (the guests) are in and out a lot, it doesn't make sense to keep it running non-stop.

The hostel was very nice and comfy
They extra charge you for everything, (towel, cover up for sleeping) and for the price I think they can give you one for free.

old
Rude and unhelpful staff, charged for baggage storage, charged for blanket, loud floors and no sound insulation between rooms, stained sheets and old pillow cases, poor wifi, no toilet paper several times, no potable water, was incorrectly charged, door that don't close, staff that walked in my private room, tiny doors, hard beds, pillows old and thin,

The location is great.
The private room was good and had good AC.
The staff is pleasant and is available 24h which was good since I arrived late at night.
Overall it's OK for a short stay of 1-2 nights
The kitchen is not equipet for real cooking. It has very little equipment.
The downstairs toilets are not so nice, the upstairs it much better but is in use lots of the time.
2.0 / 5.0
Only the location, other than that I don’t have anything good to say.
Laundry services are advertised, but don’t exist other than paying to wash clothes in a sink by hand.
Breakfast that is expensive for Brazilian standards is a sad offering of bread, cheese and ham. For 20 Reais, that is laughable. One of the reasons I chose to stay at this hostel was the reviews about it having a good breakfast. I don’t know what everyone else was eating, but the breakfast offerings were sad while I was there. On the weekend it improved substantially. Sad since guests pay the same no matter the day of the week for both the stay and breakfast. We deserve the same treatment.
The shared rooms are not cleaned. I spent my days in the hostel working, and never once was my room cleaned during the week. A girl checked out of my room, and her dirty sheets stayed on the bed for 3 days. They were only removed when someone else came to check in to that bed and I mentioned the sheets were dirty. The first time I saw my room swept out with a broom was on Saturday. 4 complete days of no cleaning at all, then on the 5th day a broom. Then after that, nothing again.
The one bathroom on the first floor runs out of toilet paper all the time. Also, I do it think it it cleaned either. Other than taking out the trash once the trash can was overflowing, it seems to me that the bathroom is cleaned as much as my room was, almost never. Also, I cannot count the how many times it was being used when I needed the bathroom. The soap container for hand washing was running out of soap so it was filled with water to create more “soap”. I mentioned that more soap was needed as was told someone was buying some. 3 days later, there was still no soap.
The towel that has a charge seemed dirty to me. The sheets on the bed also did not feel completely clean. I found lots of hairs on the sheets. And they were very coarse and rough.
The layout of the hostel, the age of the house it’s in, and the doors and windows don’t help with noise reduction in the rooms at all.

I liked everything, real hostel atmosphere, staff was super friendly and the facilities were great. The breakfast was simple but included in the price, I didn't even expect it.
