About this apartment rental
Timber Creek 205 is a 1200 sq/ft., ski-in/walk-out 2 bedroom + loft, 2 bathroom unit that sleeps 8 people! The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds & the loft has a captains bunk + trundle bed. Downstairs is a spacious living area w/ free wireless internet, flat screen TV, gas fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen. Situated right on the condo access ski run, this residence is located in the Center Village of Copper Mountain and a short 3 minute walk to the ski lifts, restaurants and shops. A great option for larger groups or families looking for an affordable option right on the slopes. | Summit County Colorado Short Term Rental Permit #BCA-88237 | One parking space per condo available on-site. This place couldn't be more convenient for skiing. As stated it is a very short walk to Central Village and quite easy to ski back to. The condo is well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is functional, well equipped but small. We were able to cook simple meals each night quite easily. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms functional if not fancy. Be aware the master bedroom is a queen not a king. We found it quite nice to have a community hot tub. It's always fun meeting new people and the sauna was a great added bonus.Regarding laundry, be aware it's a condo community laundromat format that requires quarters for the machines so if you plan to do some laundry, be sure to bring some quarters with you. We didn't find a quarter exchange machine. Overall a great place and I'd stay again.

Great location to ski in and out for intermediate to advanced skiers. In between Center and East Village.
Short walk to Center Village to eat and shop. Great view of the mountain and hot tub. Nice amenities; humidifiers, ski locker nice entry way to store boots, coats, and helmets. Easy check in and out process.

An older building and an older unit for sure, but it doesn't try to be something it's not. This is your classic ski condo near the slopes where you pile in a bunch of people, ski all day, then hang out at night.
Plenty of sleeping options - the condo has two bedrooms plus a loft. Bedroom #1 is a standard queen, but upstairs, you have bedroom #2 with a queen plus a bunk bed, then you also have the loft which has another bunk bed and a rollaway bed available. You could have up to six people sleeping upstairs, the only downside would be that there's only one bathroom up there. Furnishings were a bit dated and the dining table is shoehorned into an odd place, but again, is that really a problem?
The condo is on the 2nd floor so expect to walk up some steps. The hot tub needs an overhaul. Covered parking <> garage, it's a carport which makes for tricky parking if you have a big vehicle. Center Village is a short walk away.
Location is excellent. It's far easier to ski in than it is to ski out. To ski out, you need to take your skis up a short distance to a wide path then pole a short distance to the Pitchfork lift. From there, you take the lift up and cut over to the Super Bee and you're off. To ski in, simply follow the Condo Access sign on Skid Road or follow the other Condo Access sign right before Skid Road - either one works just fine and dumps you right outside the condo. However, this does mean that if someone in your group can't do a Blue run (Blue/Black being the only runs serviced by the Super Bee) that might create a problem, but that's not the condo's problem, it is what it is. If you can only do Greens, you'll have to walk a bit the other way on that path to where you can ski down and catch the American Eagle. And if you have someone going to Ski School, you'll probably want to drop them off vs. walk to the shuttle stop.
Is it the Taj Mahal? Not a chance. Does it fit the bill for a large-ish group? Absolutely. We had five people and it was fine. We'd definitely rent again if we came to Copper with more than four people.

Great unit with owners who clearly care about providing guest with nice amenities. This is our 2nd stay in 205 and we will reurn next Jan. Beds/bedding very comfy and upscale, furniture/carpet etc updated and good condition. Location Location Location--this is fantastic ski-in walk-out location...you are on lifts in less than 3 mins and easy lunch ski-in break spot. The outdoor hot-tub along the ski trail with beautiful mountain views pushes it over the top. Copper Vacations manages property and they are first class--I've used them for over 15 years. Do not hesitate to book this unit for your ski vacation!!

We enjoyed staying in this location and were very comfortable here. Parking was great. Enjoyed the ease of the fireplace. There are a few things that could be improved for a better stay. The TV was older and it took lots of practice to figure out how to get to different screens to listen to Pandora or Youtube to watch Snowboard videos. The toaster didn't work unless the handle was manually held down.

The location was great & the kids absolutely loved it. The only let down was that only 1 person was able to shower in the morning & 1 at night. There was not plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. We’ were 7 people (2 adults & 5 kids). We stayed for 3 nights and not one day were we all able to shower in one day. Extremely disappointed. Maintenance wasn’t able to help & they told us that there was nothing that could be done due to the water heater being so small.

Rental was was a great pick. Ended up having a bunny beginner slope right behind us. Our small kiddos loved it. Skiing was great. I still rather like to come a little later in year due to temps being colder at Christmas.

Very nice condo and check in process was easy. Only draw back was the noise. Location was right next to the stairs and late night and early morning noise of people running up and down the metal stairs. Other than that, great stay!!

Overall the week was nice. Some lessons were learned, ie find out what will be open or closed as it is between Copper Mountain's seasons. Also knowing that ski-in/walk-out does not mean from the unit for TC205, it meant from the building. While the weather was pleasant it did take some getting used to the altitude.

I have not been to Copper Mountain in years. I nreally enjoyed the location of the condo unit. It was close to Center Village and walking distance to the lifts. The only thing that I would like to see in these units is more necessities in the kitchen, for example, coffee, coffee filters, some condiments, etc... Great stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the proximity to restaurants, etc. sleeping arrangements were good as well. My only comments would be outdoor area needed some cleaning/wipe down. There was a broken chair at table. Some odd smell (think cleaning supplies used?) But otherwise my family had a great time and we would definitely rent again!
