BEWARE! Dirty Apartment!

The reason I booked the property was the sunroom and view but the fact that apartment was not clean did not make any of it worth it.

It was not cleaned when we checked in I found dirty towels in the bathroom, dirty linens removed from the bedding. It seems the cleaning person did not show up and the apartment was as the last guest left it. I tried to contact the host multiple times via messages and a phone number that he provided with no luck. The host before the incident was very responsive but not after I started asking questions about the cleanliness he basically ignored me and my phone calls. I paid a lot of money for a not clean apartment $650 for 2 nights. I finally spoke to customer service on booking.com team and they also were not able to contact the host. Finally we decided to leave because the place was not clean and had to go book another hotel in town last minute for those two nights. It’s been 3 days since I tried to communicate with the host, he still has not gotten back to me and he didn’t return my money not even part of it.

Home away from home

The view was immaculate, included all the amenities listed in the description, host left the place in a clean condition. By the end of the trip I wanted to move in. Only considerations are that it is a top a hill so prepare for some uphill walking and the roof is shaped like a triangle so you will bang your head a couple times if you’re over 4ft tall.

No downsides.

The most amazing accommodation in a beautiful location.

The loft is luxurious, spotlessly clean with all the home comforts you could possibly need. Location is great, very walkable to town centre and the views are beautiful.

Excellent view, poor bedroom, not so fresh linens.

The view, the glass house loft experience is really nice. Although I bang my head a few times to get used to it but it’s fine. We stayed few places in Norway and this is the only property that comes with Netflix on TV. Of good use when it’s raining, when we can’t go anywhere in such weather.

Cleanliness. Stained bedsheet, blanket. Old and smelly towels, smelly shower curtain. The property needs some maintanence.

Glass roof with huge disappointments

The Glass roof gives a good view to the city.

We had a Norway trip with around 20 different accommodations and this apartment was the worst of all (and the most expensive). -When we arrived, the apartment was really freezing cold, the heater was turned off (around 0 outside). The owner helped to turn them on, but it took around 2hours to heat up to 21-22celsius. -We tried to survive with a hot shower, but after 8 minutes there was no hot water at all. -Drying towels and a Christmas tree in the kitchen area (in the middleGlass roof with huge disappointments of October). I definitely do not recommend this place, although the glass roof is good, there are far better places with half the price.

Lovely stay in the loft, watching the boats sail by.

The loft was lovely. Bedroom was small but adequate. Kitchen well equipped but the lounge room was spectacular. Justin was a great host!

Nice, clean and cozy apartment

The room was very neat, clean and warm. I loved the sitting room/ glassroof room, which was nicely decorated and had a nice feel. I Spent most of my time relaxing on the couch. The kitchen was also very useful, I did not cook but having a fridge, kettle and other amenities was very convenient

The roof in the bedroom is low on the other side of the bed, it will probably be a challenge for 2 people to sleep on the bed as one could bump onto the roof. But I did not have an issue with it as I travelled solo. The bed was very comfortable.

Even more magical than we imagined.

The property was every bit as beautiful as the pictures, the glass room was incredible and felt so cosey. The kitchen was really well equipped and the bed was very comfy. everything was clean and felt very homely. The host was really helpful and got back to us quickly. We would go back and stay there in a heartbeat.

The apartment is about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. For us this wasn’t a problem, I enjoyed the walk and it gave you the chance to see some of residential Tromso and their beautiful houses.

Unique place, just not as close as I like to be to everything.

It was not great for tall people like myself. Everything seemed more cramped than what I thought it would be.

overall we had the great time in the house. the sleeploon is a bit small but we only use for sleeping. we spent most of

the living room with glass roof is very spacious and stylish. we really enjoyed chilling on the couch.

the bedroom is a little bit small. the person sleeps inside is quite close to the roof/ wall because it’s pitched roof

STUNNING VIEWS OVER TROMSØ!

The living room is amazing!!! It provides a stunning view over the city and we were even lucky enough to see the northern lights! The apartment is super cozy and has everything you need. Also, the instructions were clear and we did not have any trouble finding the house.

The apartment is on the second floor of the house and the stairs (made of steel) are quite steep so beware of that. The bed is positioned under the pitched roof area. The person sleeping inside might hit their head.

Beautiful apartment with amazing view. 15-minute walk to city center, 3 minut walk to nearest convenience store, 10 minute walk to nearest pub ;) I'd also loved how responsive and helpful Justin was during our stay.

Probably the best apartment we’ve stayed in.

the glass room was fantastic. we spent most of our time there. Great to have a washing machine in the midst of our travels.

Fantastic views

Views from living room with glass roof are amazing! Fully contained apartment so we were able to cook and use washing machine etc.

Ran out of hot water while in the shower (not in there for an excessive amount of time). Bed is up against the eaves so not much headroom.

Modern, equipped apartment with beautiful view

Fully equipped, modern, comfortable with its unique atmosphere and amazing view on surrounding mountains and the city.

The entrance door was opening to the outside and we were afraid that we could get stuck inside in case of heavy snow. That didnt happen though 😀

Superb

Extremely beautiful glass roof room, ideal for a nice breakfast or dinner and also to chill in the couch. kitchen is well equipped. There's a small balcony too if you wanna step outside and take some photos or watch the nice view.

i had to call the host to get the number of the keylock, would be useful to get notified before arrival/check in time. Communication can be better.
