Come stay in Frankfort! Discover Northern Michigan's beautiful coastline and all the activities it has to offer. Our house is perfect for four people looking for a getaway. Whether it be a weekend trip or week-long stay, Suite Baby James awaits your next adventure.
This two bedroom, two and a half bath home offers a warm and welcoming space inside and out. James is a single story home with a covered front and rear facing porch. Both bedrooms have a Casper memory foam queen size bed, with fresh white linens and a selection of pillows for your sleeping needs. The bedrooms also include open closet space with built-in shelving units. The spacious private master baths have custom tile showers and vanity space stocked with basic toiletries.
The decor is crisp, clean and eclectic. Boasting classic features with modern amenities. James is efficient and open in the common spaces, yet quiet and secluded in each of his master suites. This house has been designed specifically with you, the traveler, in mind.
The open concept kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and is stocked with an array of easy to locate dishes, pots, pans and everyday utensils. Central air conditioning and heat are available throughtout home. There is wifi. We provide both washer and dryer in the back entry for your use, as well as a large entry with storage for your beach supplies.
There are covered porches off of both the front and back of house with outdoor seating on each. A gas grill is provided. James is accessible both curbside and from the alley, private parking is available for multiple cars.
We absolutely love the location of this home. James is just around the corner from the downtown center; you can easily wander the Saturday farmer's market a few blocks away or take your coffee to the beach. This house will make your vacation in Northern Michigan an exciting new experience while still living like a local in a neighborhood that is an eclectic mix of full time residents and other travelers like yourself.
We are conveniently located 6 blocks from the local supermarket, 4 blocks from the downtown Frankfort shops, and 8 blocks from the city beach. Frankfort is close to Crystal Mountain, Point Betsie, numerous hiking and biking trails, and Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.
This is a turn key vacation rental, we provide all pillows, linens, robes, bath towels as well as beach towels. Also provided are all soaps, detergents, shampoos, and conditioners. No pets allowed. Smoking and vaping are prohibited.

If you come visit the lovely town of Frankfort you will want to stay here! Lauren and her husband have put so much work into this home and the attention to detail shows. They went above and beyond as hosts and have everything you need. It was one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever had. Don’t think twice, book it, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time with friends at Suite Baby James in Frankfort. The place is within walking distance to town and Frankfort Beach. It is immaculate and we enjoyed listening to records in the living room in the evening. We had an amazing time and look forward to returning next summer.

This is a very, very nice rental. Conveniently located to downtown's shops and restaurants as well as the beach. It was very clean, well laid out, and the host had focused on many details to make our stay extra special. The house features two bedrooms - each with a large bathroom - that made our stay with another couple a great weekend. Each room boasts privacy with a shared living space. And the decor is beautiful. We'd stay again and would definitely recommend this wonderful rental.

House was quite comfortable for three people. Floor plan works well with spacious entry including hooks and storage, large closets in the bedrooms, and spacious, well furnished kitchen. The house is nicely furnished and decorated with a keen eye for detail. Good location in town on quiet residential street.

Our family enjoyed staying at Suite Baby James! The house was spotless and perfect for our family of four. We loved the quick walk to the beach and downtown Frankfort, the proximity to the park for basketball and pickle ball and listening to all the records/ playing games every night. My teen boys and husband didn’t even miss a tv! Lauren was available at a moments notice to help if we needed anything too. Definitely would stay again!

Charming, comfy home a nice walk to town & the wonderful beach! Nice touches in every room. Frankfort is a great location for seeing some of the prettiest parts of Lake Michigan’s coastline!

I just can't say enough about their home, every detail is top notch, from the cleanliness, colors and wonderful decor to the amenities in the bathrooms, kitchen supplies and much more. I can't think of anything the home was lacking.
We will definitely come back to this wonderful home in Frankfort. Walking a couple blocks to the main shopping and dining street and then down to Lake Michigan was just great.

Lovely
A quick get away to ski at Crystal Mountain with our kids (13 and 12) The home is clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you may need! The grocery stores and restaurants are close by. We will try and return in the summer! Thank you for your hospitality!

My sister and I were desperately in need of a getaway and Lauren's Suite Baby James was the perfect spot! From the décor to the amenities, there were so many awesome little touches at this lovely home. The house is a short walk to downtown or to the beach to watch the sunset on the water. It's a cozy space for a weekend away and we'll definitely be back!

My sister and I were desperately in need of a getaway and Lauren's Suite Baby James was the perfect spot! From the décor to the amenities, there were so many awesome little touches at this lovely home. The house is a short walk to downtown or to the beach to watch the sunset on the water. Another Great Stay!!
This was the second time that we stayed at this property and it was as exceptional as the first. Great attention to detail, clean and comfortable, and a great location in a lovely town. The house layout is excellent and thoughtfully well-appointed. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of without being obtrusive.

A perfect house!
I wish I could give this house more than 5 stars - it was perfect! The owner was welcoming from the moment we booked. Once we arrived, we were all in awe of the beautiful home. From the craftsmanship, to the decor down to the record player! The kitchen, baths and laundry room were well stocked with everything we needed. I would come back here in a heartbeat and can't wait to share this gem with my friends! Thank you!

This is a fantastic property! Great location and convenient to downtown Frankfort and the beach on Lake Michigan. The house has been beautifully renovated and has many special touches. It is well-equipped with just about everything you will need—a true turnkey experience. There are many special surprises. Our favorite was the turntable with a great selection of vinyl! We fell in love with Frankfort and this house. We will definitely stay there again. Lauren is a fabulous and considerate host.

The Wi-Fi is strong enough to stream movies on a laptop if you are interested in having a screen during your stay. We enjoyed the variety of records!
The property owners are very responsive. We should have said something earlier, but we noticed a mildew odor which we commented on as we checked out. They let us know that they were installing a dehumidifier and condensation pump the same day that we informed them. So if you have a concern, reach out immediately, they are awesome.

Home Away From Home
We loved having multiple bathrooms that were stocked with so many necessities! The whole house is very clean and we liked the care that has been put into the house-- all the details made for a comfortable stay. The only thing that would have made our stay better would be a radio or tv to wind down the day with a glass of wine.

This place is perfect!
The owners just remodeled the place from the ground up and you can tell they put every bit of thought into every little detail. Having two bedrooms each with their own large full bathroom and then a half bath for entertaining is both brilliant and unexpected in a smaller home. The place was spotless when we arrived and they include higher end linens, shampoos, soap and pretty much everything you could need so you can just show up and enjoy. The rest of the place is open concept and so enjoyable for relaxing and hanging out. Frankfort and the surrounding areas have endless possibilities for how you can spent your time. We walked into town every morning for a coffee and pastry and then down to the beach to enjoy a Lake Michigan view. If you’re a small family of four or two couples looking for the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, look no further.

Ideal
CLEAN/CLEAN/CLEAN...In today’s world, was great to walk in and immediately feel the home had been thoroughly scrubbed prior to our arrival. Beyond that, everything was exactly what we needed. Inviting interior with the space 2 couples needed. A simple 12 minute walk to town. All the amenities we needed (coffee, toiletries, etc). Would definitely come back when our travels bring us to the Frankfort area again.

Fantastic stay/getaway
Prior to renting in this area, we knew nothing about Frankfort. It’s such a great little town and area. It has one of the nicest beach areas I have seen up north. Very large for northern Michigan beach standards. Lauren was a great host and answered all my questions about the place prior to arriving. Her place is in fantastic condition (like a brand new home)! We really enjoyed the accommodations and the on suite bathroom in both rooms was a huge plus. Parking is plentiful and you have just about everything you need to cook inside the house and stay safe during this COVID-19 pandemic, which we did cook a few meals. There are some great restaurants in town, if your looking for some takeout also.
I would highly recommend staying here, as the accommodations are unmatched in the area and truly loved our time there! Enjoy.

Suite Baby James is perfect! The house is beautiful, cozy and so comfortable. No detail was missed from the toiletries to the beach chairs, beach toys, coffee, trail books and more. Location is great just a short few blocks to beach and town. Loved this house and the beds/sheets/pillows were so comfy! I need to know where they are from!! Defiycimong back!

Absolutely Perfect!
Suite Baby James was the perfect place for a mini-vacation with my mom, sister, and my aunt. The house was super clean and so nicely decorated. Not only was it pleasing to the eye, but there were so many little things that added to the comfort of our stay. The kitchen was neatly stocked with everything you might need in way of utensils and dishes, dish soap and towels. The bathrooms are clean and include plenty of towels, washcloths; soap, shampoo,conditioner, and a variety of other toiletries were available as well. No shortage of pillows on the comfortable bed. The yard is perfect, nice porch in front and back. Great selection of games and lots of books to look at. You can tell that the owners care about the property and about going above and beyond for their guests.
Frankfort and the surrounding area is beautiful and the people were kind. We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and shiny, and has all you could need for a getaway. Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here while skiing nearby. The stock of toiletries came in handy since we had packed lightly for a short trip. Great location in Frankfort.

Quaint Pristine Home!
The James property is absolutely adorable - the decor is so tastefully simple and it is perfectly spotless! The Owners have thought of so many details to make this home a perfect getaway in Frankfort. We spent a long fall weekend with our two children to hike and enjoy the fall color. We fished on the bridge to Elberta and tried all of the restaurants in the area - The Manitou, Lucky Dog, The Lighthouse Cafe and Stormcloud were all favorites. Thank you for allowing us to be one of the first in your rental property. We hope to be back to enjoy the warmer months!
