Quiet rural setting in The Malvern Hills. Ideally positioned for exploring countryside, local towns and cities. Plenty of walks direct from the door.
Nothing in particular. I research, explore and live for the moment.

The hosts. Bernie and Alex are very kind people. Bless them. The house is beautiful, bigger than we expected and had prepared for our arrival to to the last t. What you see is what you get.
The room is very clean with fresh bedding and white towels.
The breakfast is well thought out. More than enough, homely, sumptuous fresh and everything amazing. I couldn't find better words to describe it.
The location is quiet, fresh and the compound well taken care of. One can also go for walks- beautiful old church around the corner from the manor.
They were so kind to offer us a late checkout and a mid morning coffee and cookies. For our son they offered us free roam on the farm with food to feed the poultry and access to petting donkeys.
Nothing at all.

Meerkat Manor is such a wonderful place to stay. Alex and Bernie are so welcoming and helpful, amazing hosts. The room is a really good size with a little kitchen and living room, so much more than we were expecting. And the farm has donkeys, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs - all very friendly! Breakfasts are served in hampers and there is such a good selection of food. Brilliant location for Coddington Vineyard too!
Honestly 10/10 stay.

Bernie & Alex are the perfect hosts. Accomadation is spotlessly clean and has every thing you need for a very comfortable break. We especially enjoyed the location, peaceful and quiet and the added benefit of the many animals. Excellent Breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately return when in the area.
There was nothing negative about our experience.

Exceptional stay. Hostesses very friendly. Loved all the animals too.

Lovely place, quiet, clean & had everything you needed. Lovely thoughtful little things too. Love the way breakfast is delivered.
Nothing really as long as you like walking. 2 1/2 miles to closest pub.

I travelled alone for work and this was a great safe place to stay. Lovely room and bathroom.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
Alex came to light the log burner for me when it was snowing outside making it even cosier.
The breakfast was exceptionally good. I have dinner on one evening too which was also good.
Will certainly stay again
Nothing, all good during my stay

The property was perfectly located to explore the Malvern Hills. We enjoyed visiting with all the animals at the property. We indulged in Bernie’s meals both nights of our stay. They were very delicious and a very decent portion for the price. We can highly recommend them and the property overall. If we found ourselves in the area again, we would happily rebook Meerkat Manor.

I stayed at Meerkat Manor over two weekends for work, and found it clean, pleasant, welcoming and a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast choices were excellent (I worked my way through quite a few of them) and Bernie's welcome was warm and helpful. I really would have liked to sample the evening meals, but was unfortunately out working!
It was extremely cold weather (-6C) on my first stay, and the radiators didn't really cope with warming the main room sufficiently - I was reluctant to get the wood stove started, since I was out working most of the stay! The second (warmer) weekend was no problem.

The breakfast was well thought out. Great Choice and everything served hot. Presented in a hamper which included everything we needed.
Couldn’t wish for anything more.
Bernie’s attention to detail is 2nd to none!
Nit picking really to find fault ….The shower pressure and the water temperature could do with some slight adjustment as not much movement needed between really hot and tepid.

We liked the whole experience at Meerkat Manor. A comfortable self-contained annexe with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Bernie and Alex are essentially running a smallholding, complete with free ranging poultry birds, pairs of donkeys, goats and sheep, four dogs and a clowder of cats.
We enjoyed the breakfast options and the way it is served in a hamper, through the adjoining stable door.
We had no cause for complaint at all during our stay.

This place is an oasis of peace and quiet. Tucked away in the countryside of little Coddington, it has all you could ask for if you're looking for a well-deserved rest. If you want some more action, just pop in your car or hop on your bike for an adventurous ride. The best thing about this place, though, are it's owners. Their love for hospitality, people and most importantly animals is overwhelming. Keep up the great work. A real no brainer: 10 out of 10 easily!

Everything about this property was fantastic. The quietnesses of the location, space in the room, having a washing machine to use and I can’t miss out mentioning the wonderful animals to connect with. Bernie’s evening meals were a delight and real value for money.

This was a very comfortable space with everything we needed, bearing in mind that it is a B&B and not self-catering. The meal we ordered for the first night was fabulous, as were the breakfasts in the mornings. The animals at the farm were lovely and friendly and amazingly quiet. The B&B is in a lovely location and we enjoyed walking around the area. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and they have a great property here.
I'm not a huge fan of the type of shower they have installed, as it makes the whole floor wet (for a while) but the water was hot and the pressure good.

The breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice and the location was lovely.
There was nothing to dislike about this property and it’s hosts.

A very warm welcome from Bernie and Alex on our arrival . Accommodation and food was outstanding
It's great as it is.

Accommodation was comfortable and very cosy, furnished and equipped to a very high standard.
We took our dog Jack, and we were made very welcome wih treats, bowls and pet bedding all provided.
The breakfast was first class, plenty of choice and delivered to our room in a hamper. All food was hot, even the plates, better than in many hotels we have stayed in.
We had dinner every night meals were of restaurant quality with a complimentary drink and very reasonably priced.
We could see the donkeys goats sheep and hens from our window, what a treat.
All in all a very pleasant relaxing carefree few days, will return soon.
Bernie and Alex thought of everthing to make our stay perfect, thankyou so much.
Couldn't fault this place it was exeptional in every way.

Bed could have been more comfortable.

Amazing breakfast, very well organised, kind and welcoming staff, dog friendly place, very cozy
Some noise can make the nights shorter than planned

Meerkat Manor is a wonderful little haven hidden away in the little village of Coddington, mere minutes away from the nearest town and conveniences in case of emergency.
Although everything was so well catered for, I was entirely happy to spend my stay local and just explore the many footpaths and fields surrounding us.
The food was exceptional. There is no need to order in our bring your own shopping. With maybe the exception of a bottle of wine to relax in the evening while taking in the clear night skies over the property.
It was just the perfect countryside escape for a city dwelling couple and our young pup for a weekend away from the madness.
It was just a wonderful experience from start to finish, Bernie & Alex did everything in their power to ensure that it remained so throughout.
We will be back soon.
Nothing at all.

Wow, Wow and Wow!!!
We have just returned from the most relaxing weekend away ever 😍
Bernie and Alex are absolutely amazing hosts... so good that we had booked to return next month, even before we had left!
The accomodation really is home from home, so much so that it was almost a shame we had gone away to walk and explore the area, as it would have been equally lovely to just chill at Meerkat Manor.
The amazingly comfy bed, wet room and shower, TV with Netflix, board games and log burner were perfect for a cosy night in after a busy day though.
DO NOT go out for dinner! Order from Bernie! Her cooking is amazing, food is delicious home-made and wholesome and served with a drink of your choice, to your room for next to nothing. This service is perfect if you have small children as you can shower, change, eat, have a few glasses of wine and not worry about getting back in time for bed.
On the subject of children- they are made to feel so welcome! the cutest little bed was set up at the end of mine, the sheltered area running the length of the property was perfect for removing muddy wet clothes and boots before stepping inside (please note, only the children removed their trousers outside). They loved the shower as it's a wet room so no faffing with curtains and screens etc, and, if we had been staying any longer there are much needed laundry facilities in our own utility room- perfect!
The little finishing touches show that Bernie and Alex really have thought of everything! From home-made biscuits and drinks in the fridge on arrival, a huge array of teas and coffees to help yourself to, many cushions and blankets, games , colouring , cd player etc plenty of fuel for the fire and the offer to help you light it if required. For warmer weather they even blankets, cushions, lights and BBQ for the private garden area with a comfy table and chairs.
The whole place is scrupulously clean.
Nothing. Can't wait to return!

This is my second visit as the first time was great, I was not disappointed. A peaceful place to unwind, enjoy seeing the donkeys, goats, cats etc. and to be spoilt by the excellent continental breakfast, which is served in a basket and kind, friendly hosts. If you like watching the stars there is little light pollution so on a clear night it’s beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Meerkat Manor.
