Very nice room with fab view of Priory. Comfy bed. Smart clean bathroom. Very decent breakfast.
The car park is round the back of the hotel and a steep walk back to the front.

Is an absolute fabulous location, My room was very big with a gigantic bed was great.. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good as one would expect in such a place…. This is my favourite hotel I have bin the last few years
The usual problem with older properties, the bathroom needed desperately a make over …
The Bar area looked like it was decorated many years ago, not so bad but needed decorating

Breakfast was good and we came for the location
The menu could have been varied. A longer stay would have been boring

No air conditioning (but it was exceptionally hot weather)

The initial room was too warm and noisy for me as im hyper sensitive, so the wonderful staff kindly moved me.
My new room was so wonderful I cannot wait to stay again!
All good!

Arrived for a 1 night stay that I had booked at the last minute.plenty of parking in the back of the hotel. Checked in quickly and room all ready and spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely big comfortable bed, bath and shower plenty of space for clothes, dressing table with mirror(a must)and everything worked. Ordered room service which came quickly and great meal. slept well and breakfast was very good, great choice and someone there to explain how it all worked. Hotel perfect for the three counties show ground.
The only thing I will say is the breakfast could have been hotter although looks great I don’t think these dishes keep it particularly hot.

Loved the building. Staff were really friendly and helpful
Breakfast wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be for the money

The Old Style building and stylish deco inside. Breakfast was good with nice quality items.
Some of the staff were quite vocal with complaining about their work.

perfect choice. superb breakfast.
4.5
Beautiful frontage from the road, the staff were excellent, the beds super comfy and 2 mins from the theatre.
Nicely situated for the town centre and a short hop over the road to the gardens and the 99 steps which takes you to the Malvern beacon up the hill.
Please visit a brilliant shop called "Amaze" which sells the most fantastic handmade gifts for charity. The place is full of quirky items that you will need and the profits go to a great cause.
Another must go to place is the tiny museum right next to the hotel, for 2 whole pounds you get a fascinating audio tour of the town and area....Great place.
We are going back but next time it'll be for longer.
Bar meals kind of ok, I had a "curry" but it was like a weak brown gravy with pieces of dry chicken...not the best.
The breakfast was a buffet style and like most buffet style breakfasts they usually sit on your plate a bit worse for wear from lying under a sun lamp for a while, not the best quality food I'm afraid.
We stayed in the 1960's style extension that looks totally out of place from original building. I thought it was a block of flats.
The room was OK for size, clean but had the feel of a Premier Inn about it. Everything I suppose looked identical in every room which is a shame as they look a bit characterless.
We'd upgraded on the day from a standard Premier Inn room to a bigger Premier Inn room, nice view of the abbey though!
Oh and bizarrely for a town renowned for its Malvern spring water they leave a bottle of water in the room from...... Harrogate

Food and location was good.
Sound proof room wasn't very good?
3.5
Room was great with view of the priory and countryside. In room facilities very good
The restaurant was poor with the menu more like pub food for dinner and breakfast totally self service including having to get hot drinks from a machine. Not what I expected from a hotel of this rating
5.0
clean well kept and perfect location
the extension is rather ugly and spoils the outside appearance but we were fortunate enough to stay in main building above reception

old style in a great location.

Beautiful looking hotel. We had an upgrade with Booking.com to an executive room. The seating area was a nice bonus after a long walk. The big windows allowed more natural light to come in which was lovely. Breakfast was great. Bathroom was roomy with a big bath tub and shower. Location was perfect. You can join the Beacon walk at 99 Steps right next to the hotel (saves paying for parking somewhere).
Lounge area had no atmosphere. We went in for a drink and it was so quiet. A little quiet music would've been nice. It didn't bother us though as you are minutes from lots of pubs.

This is a lovely hotel. Communication prior to arrival was very prompt, clear and helpful. The hotel location is great - a relatively short walk from Great Malvern train station, close to the main shopping streets and restaurants as well as Priory Park (which has an amazing playground for visitors with children!). The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay - from helping us get a later check out time, making sure gluten free needs were catered for in the restaurant, and making both my 6 year old and I feel very welcome. The breakfast was fabulous! Our room (an executive double) was a good size and very clean.
We had a flickering light bulb in the bathroom but this was only a minor annoyance in an overall fantastic stay.

Just had a very relaxing time

Room was great and room service was good. Very nice dinner
We had our dog with us, for which we paid a supplementary charge, but weren't allowed to take her in the bar, lounge or restaurant, which meant we had to take all our meals in our room. As it turned out, room service was good, but we were a bit cooped up. For a hotel described as dog-friendly, it was only really semi-friendly.

Breakfast was excellent.
Location brilliant for the Theatre.
Car parking plentiful.
There was nothing that we did not like.

The location, the venue. The ambiance, the town. Being so close to the Priory was lovely, too.
