Great weekend stay

The Adelphi is a classic beachside B&B and perfect for my needs staying overnight so I could attend a sailing event at Paignton Sailing Club. The room is fine and exactly as I needed. Breakfast was lovely and the owners were super helpful even helping me secure a free parking spot.

Not much to dislike really - at this price point its a great place to stay and very close to the beachfront.

Excellent hotel great hosts

I call it home from home so friendly the place was old skool hotel not clinical but reassuringly comfy, very clean and the breakfast excellent, I will be going back.

I had my own separate bathroom down the corridor, which was ok they gave me a robe to use at night time, but felt I had to creep down the corridor not to disturb other customers during the night, would of preferred en suite but the bathroom was large and very clean, perhaps it was just my mind set.

An adequate range of cooked and non cooked food was provided and the staff were keen to meet guests eating requirements.

Better decor. I prefer painted walls to wallpaper.

A really enjoyable stay and will book again

Good breakfast with really nice bacon and sausages. Very well cooked and not greasy and was very happy to serve a portion of grapefruit which was not on the menu. The room was comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits with and a communal fridge with cold bottle water.

Awkward layout with the bathroom cabinet over a small which I banged my head on when cleaning my teeth but this is really a minor point.

A little gem in Paignton

I enjoyed the quietness of the room and the thoughtful little bottles of shower gel and hair products.

Welcoming host.Very comfortable and clean room with adjoining shower/ toilet facilities. Great value.

Little gem

Very friendly staff, location excellent, breakfast was fabulous, cooked fresh to order every morning. Staff were always on hand to give advise and ideas about places to visit. Would definitely use accommodation again if we were in this area and would strongly recommend a stay at this little gem!

Super comfort all around, a 5 star hotel hospitality in a down to earth and friendly quite little hotel. Great night sleep and a perfectly cooked breakfast included. Very well central located and private parking. Perfect stay.

Good

"For me" as no one else seemed to hear it was so loud.."A hum from generator that was working with a new 5g phone tower opposit. I had booked for three nights but left after just one night. I was offered a different room at the back of the hotel but "I could hear the hum all the time everywhere?" even well away from the hotel (Must be me?) I have stay there three times before and found the place and the people really nice but I will not be going back to anywhere near the "New 5g phone tower" so maybe I won't even go back to Paignton?
