Beautiful, clean property with everything you need in the room. Fabulous food - highly recommend it.
Hosts were so kind when my husband wasn’t well.
Very spacious and cool. Great rooftop area.
Nothing to dislike

Love that you have in house food services. The cook made home made samosas, they were absolutely incredible.

Beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, lovely breakfast and very kind owner - she gave us lots of tips and was great to talk to. The roof terrace was also lovely. A great, tranquil base for exploring Delhi, especially south Delhi. Other guests were lovely and it was nice to have a communal atmosphere over breakfast. Easy to get around every via Uber and Uber Rickshaw.
There was an issue when we checked in - I had requested a change to 2 people and a twin room, but they were surprised when 2 people came. Maybe a communication issue. This was rectified the next day and room changed - all very smooth.

The location was perfectly quiet, the owners an absolute delight! The breakfast was just what I needed each morning I honestly couldn’t fault it at all - I got some beautiful suggestions of things to do and can see myself staying anywhere but here whilst in dehli!

Loved the bedding, pillows. Such a comfortable night of sleep! Also loved the attention to design details with the patio and plants spread throughout. The staff was also incredibly helpful! When my wife lost her razor, the owner walked me to a local convenience store to go replace it.
Some of the items in our bathroom (room 10) weren’t working properly. Example: the toilet flushing button. Some elements of the property look a little worn down.

Location was perfect
3.5
The room was very clean, awesome sophisticated interior and the staff was polite and helpful. In addition the neighborhood is a wealthy residents area with leafy streets so it was quiet.
We have 3 points what you should consider to stay there.
The first thing is the location. It’s far away from New Delhi’s central so you need to take a taxi or an aut o rikshaw to visit Old delhi and New Delhi if you want to visit some monuments like Red Fort.
Next is the neighborhood is wealthy class area. We’re living in Tokyo, so we felt the area was similar with there. Unfortunately, we wanted to feel one of the most bustling and energetic city in the world so we changed the property from it to other where is located in main bazaar, is magnet for backpackers around the world.
In addition, the area around the property has no good dining spots and grocery stores. A shopping mall is located near the property but there are just Korean and Japanese restaurants and bars. The atmosphere isn’t Indian flavor and local flavor. Its atmosphere is rational flavor. If you are a foreigner traveler who wants to taste Indian cuisine every day and you drink beer, I recommend properties at New Delhi central .
The last point is the property service criteria is high. The taxi fee is INR 2500 from New Delhi airport to the property it takes 20 minutes, it seems expensive but the driver is professional and very gentle, the car was brand new, the inside was quiet.
In a nutshell, the property serves high quality service and rational way of visit in New Delhi.
If you prioritize the silence and rationality, I definitely recommend the property. You must be relaxed. However you want to feel busting irrational India and to have conversation with common people, I think you need a different type of accommodations.

Good size room and bathroom , beds were really comfortable, had a fantastic nights sleep ,good choice of breakfast incuding a traditional Indian breakfast which was beautiful and cooked to our dietary needs. Didi the host was extremely helpful with booking train tickets and local information..Rohit helped with our bags to our room and went to the shops for us when we needed a few bits, very helpful .would definitely stay again.
Couldn't find anything to complain about

Very friendly owner. I felt well taken care of and safe as a solo traveller. They catered to all my requests, a heater, packed breakfast for early departure, airport dropoff...
Nicely decorated common space and rooftop. Gives you homely feelings.
The noise from the street. Delhi traffc is loud and I am a light sleeper. But you are in Delhi, I should have brought ear plugs

Superb place to stay in Delhi, we totally felt at home. Hosts are welcoming and staff is helpful and nice. Comfortable beds and super clean rooms. It's a B&B so don't expect phones or TV in the room, but you won't need them, rooms are cozy as well as the living rooms, where you can relax after visiting Delhi. Breakfast is simple and very good. Totally recommend it and we'll come back next time we are in Delhi.

The attention to detail was incredible - to personal requests, the layout of the floors, the decor is 5 Star quality with a lovely selection of Indian art and artifacts. The bed huge and comfortable - the shower Hot !!! Sheetal and Atul are beyond hospitable - EXCELLENT does not even describe my experience, with my hope to visit them again very soon !!!
There really was NOTHING I did NOT like but it would help if a few "Take out" food menus and contact info was on site, so you could order in some food. I was not comfortable going out on my own to a restaurant and preferred to eat in with recommendations by Sheetal and Atul. But I hated having to bother them for this information when they may have been otherwise busy. The choices, could have been available in the room, as well as beer and wine options. Deliver was however seamless with the front gate security bringing it to my room and collecting the payment.

Thikana is a really nice place to stay in Delhi.
The staff is welcoming and, if you meet them, the owners are really friendly and willing to give plenty of recommandations. Rooms are quite big, well decorated, and with all the equipments you can expect. Also good breakfast.
It's a bit out of the city center but easily reachable with taxi, tuk tuk or metro (10/15 min away).

Overall the room was clean and spacious.
For that price breakfast could have been improved. Also it looks a bit nicer in the pictures than in reality (but probably two years of no tourists because of covid has affected the property).
