The host is very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing and convenient for exploring Ireland. Great sofa in the house.

For us the location was key. We had researched the local cafe Hollywood Cafe & the local Pub / Restaurant & both of these were highly recommend. Also both within walking distance of property. The village although very small was busy due to popularity of local cafe & restaurant. Despite how busy it was it was still a very quiet location. If you're a hiker then this would also be a good base. For us we wanted to be close to Dublin but not too close (approx 45 mins by car). For the west coast & south west areas of Ireland you would be looking at a max of 3 hours driving depending on where you wished to visit. Accommodation consisted of 2 floors & could sleep 4, Kitchen basic but enough for what we needed. The host readily available if needed as they lived in a property on same site. Plenty of storage for clothes / kit etc. For most days were out visiting / touring. Would happily recommend this cottage to family & friends. Will probably return for another stay.
Wifi (probably being picky) not great as Sky Streaming box kept dropping connection - suspect this maybe the Sky box side as personal experience with Sky kit they are not the best when keeping a Wifi connection. Sofa was a little uncomfortable after be sat on for a hour - work around for that was to use the spare cushions as padding ;)

The accommodation is perfectly located in a small village with 2 pubs and a cafe within a very short walking distance. It was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities required for a week’s stay. Claire was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone planning to stay in the area.

Great location.
Super clean and comfortable accommodation.
Really well equipped.
Lovely, helpful, friendly host.
Appreciated the fans as the weather was so hot.
Blinds in the velux windows would be a great addition as it is very light early in the morning on a sunny day.

Fabulous house in a great location, everything about the house is first class, wonderfully clean and comfortable, secure and easy parking, 2 pubs and a cafe within yards. Great location for touring Wicklow and surrounding areas and close to Dublin as well. Clare and her family were very informative and helpful. Definetly one of the best places to stay in Ireland.

We loved this holiday home in Hollywood, County Wicklow. It was extremely clean and modern with great facilities and comfy beds. Our host was great, accommodating our arrival/departure with ease. As we were visiting family in Dublin, this was ideally located for accessing the M50 while not actually being in Dublin itself. The surrounding area is lovely and peaceful and Blessington Lakes are just a short drive away, as is the town of Blessington itself. Next time we visit Ireland, we'll definitely try and book this accommodation.

Local pub, cafe very helpful.
Local prices could of been better.

Nice location, good local cafe for breakfast. Good pub next door for food. Near enough to blessington and an hour from Dublin, so good base for travelling around.
Not much, all good for me.

Claire (our host) was great, very friendly, helpful and great communication. She even offered to let us check in early and check out late, explained about everything locally, offered to book the restaurant next door etc. She had the heating on, property was lovely, clean and comfortable, super location, good wi-fi. They have a lovely doodle dog, which is a bonus for dog lovers! Lovely walks nearby, Blessington nearby has supermarkets, cafes etc. Nice pub/restaurant next door, cafe two minutes walk away. Babbling brooks, views of the hills. Lovely little place. We would definitely go back.
Tiny thing: You might need Claire to show you how to use the cooker, touch-top settings are a little temperamental (unless I was just being dense!). You might need to choose your nights for best sleep as the Saturday night there was a lot of noise from the pub next door (you could hear it upstairs, not so much downstairs) but the lockdown rules had just been lifted the previous day so in fairness I think people just wanted to go our and celebrate! The next night, Sunday, no noise issue at all, very quiet so it may have been a one off.

In a pretty village next to pubs with restaurants. Very friendly hosts. Very clean. House feels spacious.
The second bedroom is on an open mezzanine level, which was very hot at night. The only windows in this room are roof tilting windows that have an opening limiter. We were here during Covid restrictions which meant that pubs and restaurants had to close early, and there weren't many people in them. At other times, there would most likely be noise from the pub next door at night time. There was no freezer compartment in the small fridge and very few cooking pots/pans.

Everything Claire and her family are so welcoming. Clean, cosy, tidy house with everything you need. Cafe, pub and restaurant right beside you not to mention all the beautiful greenery of Wicklow. Claire provides information on everything local, takeout menus, taxi number etc.. She goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Can't wait to come back next month.

The house is located in a quaint village. The house was clean and comfortable. Secure courtyard with electric gates. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay easier. There is a lovely restaurant and cafe beside the property.
The upstairs bedroom of the house is open in that the stairs lead directly to the bedroom and there is no door. The bedroom looks down on the livingroom area....similar to a church gallery. This impacts on guest privacy.

Wee visit with the old fella and 4 days of bliss.
The house was spotless and had everything we needed to keep us going.
Plenty room, huge beds to starfish in a fine quiet area with enough shops in a short distance to keep the fridge happy.
Embarrassed to say the we didn't get round to a decent pint of Guinness but hopefully will correct that next time.
Claire was extremely helpful and all in absolutely no complaints.
Nothing to not like.
