With oak beams, exposed stone walls, Welsh slate tiles and an open inglenook fireplace, this cottage creates a charming and cosy atmosphere with sleeping accommodation for up to four people in one twin and one single bedroom with a pull out bed.
Set in the village of Trawsfynydd is this charming stone end of terrace cottage. Built in the early 19th Century and positioned in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this property retains a great deal of its old-world charm. The cottage is full of original features, seamlessly blended with modern facilities making this a comfortable, relaxing and tranquil holiday home. Ideal for a small family this cottage also boasts a rear garden, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the countryside views of the Arenig Mountain Range in the distance. The surrounding area is packed with excellent activities, making this a wonderful place to spend an unforgettable vacation.
Amenities: Oil central heating and wood burning stove in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer washer/dryer, WiFi, TV. DVD player, selection of games, books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for wood burnring stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking 50 yards from property with free public car park 150 yds away. Enclosed rear garden with small lawn, patio with furniture and mountain views. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Note: Steep slate steps from sitting room to kitchen and garden may not be suitable for infirm or young children. Please note: Bikes can be stored at the rear of the property, walk down the small alley by the side of the property and through to the back garden.

The impressive local lake is renowned for its excellent fishing and is only a short distance from the village itself. With a pub and a small variety of shops, Trawsfynydd provides all essential amenities as well as outstanding outdoor activities including excellent water sports, climbing, walking, fishing, golf and mountain biking. Close by are a number of beautiful beaches including Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth whilst the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog are also withing easy driving distance. Also worth visiting in the area are the many castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate village.
