Here is more details about the property and the Neighborhood:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a historic downtown compound, built in 1898. Originally the home of one of the oldest Spanish families in Santa Fe, the compound was extensively renovated in 2017. The space can accommodate 12 comfortably, and 14 if maxed out. Perfect space for family or friendship reunions, company retreats or wedding ceremonies! This lovely compound has ample space for everyone to enjoy an authentic Santa Fe experience. The living spaces are made up of two buildings that are attached and connected through private courtyards:
- The main estate is approximately 1,800 sq ft and has three bedrooms: Master suite has a king and full bed with en-suite bath, the second master suite has a king bed with en-suite bath and the third has a queen bed with assigned bathroom in the hallway. Additionally, there are two single sofa beds in the living room. A large living room, dining room and a well equipped kitchen for family dinners are at your service. There is a beautiful fireplace in the living room for a cozy night in.
- The Casita is approximately 900 sq ft and has two bedrooms and one bath. The master bedroom has a king size bed and french doors opening up to the front courtyard. The guest bedroom has a full size bed (can accommodate a couple) and a private courtyard in the back. The living room has a large fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities and can be used to cook for the entire family.
- The outdoor courtyards make up a true oasis for a restful stay. You will enjoy beautiful trees, plants flowering in desert colors, birds, several dining and lounging areas complete with two barbecue grills. A fabulous rooftop deck is accessed by steps embellished with Talavera tiles. Sitting on the deck, you can overlook Downtown Santa Fe and be inspired by the gorgeous New Mexican sky. Thoughtfully designed system of courtyards provide large areas to congregate as well as cozy private corners for intimate one-on-one conversations. An open fire pit in the front yard in front of the ventilla, and an outdoor fireplace in the private inner courtyard off the master bedroom of the main estate add romance and warmth to winter evenings. In summer, the outdoor spaces are full of flowers, water features and magnificent shading trees and a hammock to enchant your spirit.
- Entertainment: The XFinity Cable TV service provides an endless line up of HD channels. If that is not sufficient, the built-in AppleTV and soundbar in both living rooms can be used with your AppleID to access all the music or other content you desire, or the Smart TVs will help you access any on-line entertainment service you subscribe to. The compound is equipped with high-speed internet.
- Work: There are two working spaces each with a large desk, computer hook ups, plenty of electrical outlets and dedicated printers accessible via the wireless network. 250Gbps cable Internet provides fast and easy connectivity and is suitable for remote work and communications such as video teleconferencing.
- Parking: There is a garage with 1 car and 1 motorcycle capacity and 3 parking spots in the driveway for a total of 4 spaces.
Guest Access:
Access is through a separate and lockable gate into the courtyard or through the garage. Seven foot adobe walls provide safety and privacy. The indoor and outdoor space is yours. This is a historic Old Town compound and there is one additional small casita with a separate entrance which will not interfere with your space and privacy.
The neighborhood:
The Rosario Hill neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. Many Spanish families owned large parcels here through grants by the Spanish King. A diverse residential area, the neighborhood incorporates much older family homes next to renovated beauties such as the historic Downtown Mansion this casita belongs to. Across from Arroyo Mascras, the feeling is one of living right by a river with tall and gorgeous elm and queen of paradise trees inhabiting the arrayo.
Other things to note:
Please note that this listing does not have any reviews yet. The property has been a popular "five-star" home on popular vacation rental services since July of 2017. I have recently finished my world travels and am living back in Santa Fe and now am personally overseeing the management of the property. I look forward to you being one of my guests to experience an unforgettable visit to Santa Fe.
Getting around:
A leisurely short walk will get you to the Downtown buses. The Railrunner Train Station that provides transportation to Albuquerque Sunport Airport is three minutes by car or an 18 minute of walk. Uber and Lyft are also very accessible in Downtown.
There are two routes to walk to the Plaza. The shorter route is through Griffin Street to the right of the house when you get out the door. The more scenic route is through the Grant Avenue and it takes about 10 minutes as it leads you by the historic Federal Courthouse and Scottish Rite Temple, the US Postal Service Headquarters, Santa Fe Convention Center and Georgia O'Keeffe Museum before the beautiful Plaza. Turn left from the house and just follow the arroyo. Grant Avenue is the first right up Rosario Boulevard.

This was a great property that had everything we needed for a group of 9 adults and 4 kids. We were able to walk to the square. Travel to Ski Santa Fe and other destinations around town was easy. The main house and casita were both very clean. Sasi was very responsive and checked on us throughout our stay.

Fabulous!
All accommodations were well thought out and easy to access. We had a lovely time in Santa Fe with plenty of things to enjoy. Kitchen was well planned and after going to Farmer's market - we had some very good fresh vegetables etc. to enjoy at home - and we dined out at excellent restaurants.
When we just wanted to rest and visit - we had a lovely house to return to, private gardens to enjoy with outdoor tables and chairs, and just an all around fabulous place.

Lovely stay at a well situated property with lots of amenities that make a good getaway great.
Kutlu and Sasi were incredibly responsive and accessible during our stay. Lovely guys and wonderful hosts!
We are a multigenerational group of family and close friends who had gathered for the occasion of togetherness in one of my mom’s favourite destinations.
My 88 year old mom - the matriarch - always gets the “best” ensuite on principle that if mama ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy. In this case, she chose the smaller main house ensuite on account of the stall shower which was easier entry unlike the tub in the largest ensuite. Minor problem with her bedroom was the lack of closet although there were some hooks and she made do.
Although the house sleeps over 10 people, two of the bedrooms are quite small. Didn’t really matter since we spent every waking moment out and about.
We took the opportunity to host some local
friends at the house. The setting is perfect since there’s plenty of options for both indoor and outdoor entertaining including a fireplace and an outdoor fire pit.
Easy walk to the Plaza. We’d happily return!

Magical experience in Santa Fe
5 Star experience in this magical home! The owners have thought of everything and were amazing communicating with us. Celebrated my husband's 60th birthday with friends and family. The house is so thoughtfully set up. We greeted each morning ringing the gong, and ended each day with a fire under the starts. The kitchen is a dream and beds are so comfortable! We will be back!!!

Very satisfactory stay
Very happy with this property. Kutlu was accommodating and attentive. The kitchen was well equipped and the entertainment facilities excellent in quality.
I do note that one of the bedrooms in main house was pretty small, but that did not negatively affect our experience.

Highly Recommend!
This space was amazing and absolutely as advertised. For a group of 11 girls, we all slept comfortably and were really able to enjoy the space. When we weren’t enjoying the home it was an easy walk into town for shopping and activities. The hosts were very communicative and you can tell they care about their property and their guests!

Great for a family reunion
This was the perfect place for our 9 person family reunion - large dining table so we could all eat together, lots of sitting areas to hang out, and super close walk to downtown.
It was surprisingly well maintained and decorated. Clearly a lot of love put has been into this place.

Beautifully appointed home close to everything
My family (4 adults and 4 young children) stayed two nights at this lovely adobe compound a few minutes from the Plaza. The property consists of a main house with three bedrooms and a casita with two bedrooms (and its own kitchen). The outdoor spaces are plentiful and relaxing and include a rooftop deck. The owner definitely nailed the Santa Fe vibe.
The house had everything we needed. The owner communicated quickly and well and was very patient while we tried to rearrange the rest of our trip to account for quarantine regulations.
We didn't actually walk to the Plaza from the house, but it looked like a short, easy trek.

Great house and casita
This house and casita was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation of 10. The bedroom/bathroom ratio was wonderful and the set up was great. Living and kitchen/dining spaces were also comfortable for our group. There is plenty of outdoor seating and dining room as well. The property is very cute, very clean, and well-maintained. Driving around the entire Rosario Hill we were a little nervous as some the surrounding residences looked small and run down from the outside but we were not disappointed when we arrived. Check in instructions provided were received timely and clearly but we had trouble getting the keypad to accept our code. Contacted owner and he arrived within probably 3 minutes and had the magic touch. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short by concerns surrounding coronavirus and we didn't have time to explore the town but we did get up to the ski mountain. The house's location is near the road up the mountain and it probably took us 30 minutes to get up and parked but it was easy and as advertised. We would love to come back and would stay in this property again FOR SURE.

Great Weekend Getaway!
We had a large group for a bachelorette party and had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was well supplied and the out door space was amazing. We were a group of yogis, creatives and moms and all loved the space, it gave us such a wonderful Santa Fe feel. Would definitely stay again.
