The home is located lust minutes from the Kenai River and shopping yet feels remote and secluded.
Directions from Anchorage: Take route AK-1 South towards Seward. Follow this route all the way to Cooper Landing. Not only was this house better than the online pictures it was clean, well stocked and the beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in! The best part however was our host, Stefanie. She checked on us and gave us so many amazing recommendations for our stay. She made our trip so easy! We highly recommend this location for your Alaskan adventure. There is so much to do and the views from this house will not disappoint.

Absolutely amazing!
We can't say enough good things about this property or Stefanie. Seriously! First off, before we even left for our trip, Stefanie spent over an hour on the phone with us and messaged with us to help us plan our trip. She enthusiastically gave us a ton of ideas which we so appreciated. Then while we were there, she went above and beyond to make our stay the best trip ever. She was incredibly thoughtful, and generously helped us when our travel plans changed unexpectedly. Best VRBO host I've ever encountered by far.
And the house... WOW! It's even nicer than the pictures look. It has a comfortable three floors, gorgeous fully appointed kitchen (check out the spice rack!), lovely deck, and view that will make you want to not leave the house. We couldn't have asked for a better home or host for our vacation!

Great location, great property, and great property manager!
Property is close to perfect for location in Cooper Landing. Very convenient to town; house is both current and was very clean. But best part was Stefanie - communication was both thorough and proactive. When weather was unusually warm, she brought box fans out from her house to make sure we were comfortable.

Beautiful house with amazing views!
This home was beautiful! We were very pleased with this rental, everything was high quality and it was very clean. The views are amazing - even better than expected. The house is surrounded by mountains so there are views from every window. Cooper Landing was a great central location for exploring the Kenai peninsula. Stefanie was an amazing host offering concierge service. She is friendly, easy to work with, very responsive, willing to help you with any question that you have, can book activities for you, etc. She knows the area very well and is familiar with all of the tours and activities. Having her as a resource was an added bonus to this gorgeous rental home. I highly recommend it and would love to return again some day.

Cooper Landing Summer Visit
The Property is beautiful and views of the valley are fantastic from the deck. Kitchen and living room area are excellent as well as the beds in the sleeping areas. The listing was a bit confusing regarding TV availability, but we made do without in the evenings. Overall would highly recommend this property. We have stayed in a couple other homes in Cooper Landing and this one has been the cleanest, most up to date amenities, and best view of them all by far.

Beautiful property
We stayed for a few nights in the property and we're very impressed. The house is beautiful. The linens are high quality and very soft. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook anything. Everything is top of line for appliances. The decor is wonderful. So many things look custom made. All of the small touches the owner added are just great. You really feel like you are in the house of someone who loves Alaska and the feeling is contagious. It's also very clean. Unfortunately for us we were there during the swan lake wildfire and there was maybe 1/4 mile visibility, so you couldn't see any of the view which was disappointing. But the entire Kenai area was filled with smoke. I would definitely stay in this rental again. It was a luxury accommodation.

Fantastic Cabin
Wow!!! Fantastic cabin with what has to be one of the best views in Alaska! The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was very clean and new. Both the grounds and the house are stunning with plenty of beds and a very nice layout. The kitchen is first class with a great view of both lake and mountains. Very convenient to Cooper Landing, the Kenai and the Russian River. My group of six loved it and had more than enough room. The host was great. Jeffrey gave us suggestions for restaurants and hikes that we tried and all were excellent. Overall fantastic property. I cannot imagine a better one in the area and exactly what we were looking for!!!

The Photo is not as beautiful as the actual view!!
This area was the most beautiful from our entire Alaska trip. We enjoyed the centrality of this location because we had activities in Denali, Talkeetna, Anchorage, Alyeska and Seward. I chose Cooper Landing for the majority of our stay because of the concentration of time I wanted to spend south of Anchorage, specifically for the hikes to the Russian River Falls and what I imagined would be a beautiful area on the Kenai river. It did not disappoint. I have fallen in love with this area, as did my family.
The home itself was so much more than I expected. It is meticulously clean and had more than enough room for our family of 6 adults, although we would have loved another queen bed in one of the rooms vs a double with bunk, and one more bath upstairs would have been perfect. However, we worked around that and were comfortable.
The most outstanding features are: 1) the very well-designed kitchen. Several of us enjoyed cooking and we had more than everything we needed to make a delicious fresh catch halibut meal - my husband especially loved the large griddle for pancakes and I loved the Keurig; 2) the open plan with large comfy couch in den was great ; 3) the huge deck and picture windows that allow for amazing views and every direction you turn yields a photo op, and there are small bottom opening windows on one side of the house that allows for cool breezes. This was a hot week and we could not adjust the temp to get cooler air, but the breeze did a good job. The photo on this site does not touch the beauty of this view; 4) Of course, because I work for a flooring manufacturing I have to mention the gorgeous wood floors!! and; 5) Having a washer and dryer on the 4th day of our trip was a life saver. We did some fun, but dirty, stinky things on the last frontier!
Jeff gave me several suggestions prior to the finalization of my plans, smartly steering us to choose a fishing charter in Seward instead of Homer because of the time crunch. This was one of the most enjoyable days for us, and we went to Seward a second day and saw Exit Glacier as well, ate locally, and explored locally. I will be back, and I will stay in Cooper Landing the entire trip, hopefully in this beautiful house. I won't waste my time going north of Anchorage again because I loved this area more. We didn't have time to fly fish and that will be my next bucket list item for Cooper Landing, in addition to many more of the area hiking trails. Fabulous place to stay!

Beautiful and comfortable home, gorgeous location and views
Jeff's home perched above Cooper Landing on Alaska's Kenai peninsula was the perfect home for our visit. The home is brand new, spacious, and very functional. Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well suited for cooking in. This was the best part of our Alaska trip.

Best Vacation EVER!
I'd like to first Thank You, Jeff for being so extreamly helpful with our planning the perfect vacation! Jeff quickly answered so many of my questions, as well as give me SO many suggestions on things and places to see, eat, and were to get groceries.
My parents, husband, 2 children (11 & 8,) and I planned a once in a lifetime trip to the most beautiful place! This gorgeous mountain-view home was the perfect place for this dream vacation! PLENTY of space, full kitchen, the most comfortable beds and bedding, (though with the view from here, you won't want to miss it by sleeping.) When you do sleep there are blackout curtains/shades to acommidate the summer full day sun. So nice!
This dream home and the Cooper Landing location was the PERFECT home-base for us to day travel to many many places! We were able to explore Soldotna, Kenai, Take tunnel to Whittier, spent many days in Seward (Seward Ocean Excrusions is a MUST DO!) we did the wildlife tour and saw Sea Otters, Blad Eagles, Sea Lions, Puffin Birds, Mountain Goats and Mom & baby Humpback Whales! WOW! Captain Bixler was a wonderful informative guide! My parents also took an amazing 1/2hr helicopter & glacier landing tour with Marathon Helicopters. Took many easy hikes, Exit Glacier was BEAUTIFUL!
Though we didn't do either of these, there are many fishing and rafting companies located right in Cooper Landing. We did walk the trail to the Kenai/Russian River and many fishers catching many salmon, very neat to watch!
Deffinatly ask the locals any questions you may have, we wanted to see bears in the wild and sure enough we finally saw six on one of our last days, with the helful suggestions from staff at the yummy Sackets restaurant in Cooper Landing.
Again the Perfect location, most beautiful home to make your Alaska trip AMAZING! THANK YOU AGAIN JEFF!
