Blissful Bellingham garden haven

The hosts were sincere and friendly. The property is beautifully designed and maintained and we'd love to return to see it evolve through the seasons. Our room was quiet and comfort and well-stocked with eco-friendly products.

Our schedule - we couldn't stay for the locally-sourced breakfast. Well shall return.

Sehome Garden Inn is a gem in the beautiful city of Bellingham.

Sehome Garden Inn is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a small suite at the back of the house. It was made up of a living room, small dining area and a small refrigerator, kettle and microwave. There were beautiful dishes available and cold water in beautiful bottles in the fridge. The bathroom shower is luxurious with a rain shower head and beautiful tile. The towels are soft and fluffy. The bedroom is small but comfy with mid century modern style and so cute! Everywhere in the apartment you will find lovely design elements including Japanese art and wool Pendleton blankets. The bed in the living room is a pull out sofa that is probably a double bed not a queen size. The house is on an acre of lovely garden that you are welcome to walk around in. There are Japanese arelia flanking the door, several different bamboo species, and a couple huge gorgeous Madrona trees at the entrance gate. I had fun identifying some of the different conifers scattered around the property. We were served breakfast in our suite both mornings, with homemade jam and fresh squeezed orange juice, and the hosts are amazing!! Everything was gluten free too, which was a wonderful surprise because I have celiac disease and I hadn’t even mentioned that on booking.

Everything was excellent. We loved this place although the other guests and hosts unfortunately were awakened by us being quite loud on one of the nights after coming back from a concert. So sorry!! We didn’t realize how loud we were being and how much it carried. So if you stay here just be cognizant of your noise level. Probably not the most appropriate for a loud bunch of girls. Thank you to the hosts for still being kind and gracious in spite of the one loud night.

Fabulous b&b. Perfect place to stay in Bellingham!

Beautiful property inside and out. Upscale decor.

Perfect! Highly recommend.

Everything was fantastic! Great location, perfect hosts, clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast (you should sell your jam). So nice to have Odetta and Porter (chocolate labs) greet us each day.

I saw this on booking at the last moment. This inn is located within a garden.

Location was perfect for event. 2 miles away. breakfast met my needs..just what I needed for the morning. They have two sweet dogs and a nice friendly beautiful cat. (more like a " dog cat") Very quiet, I never heard other guests coming or going and I was there 4 nights. The bed was so comfortable and the king size down pillows heaven. I haven't slept this good for weeks. lots of TLC put into this property over the years. nice walking trail located next to this property in the Abrotanum park. Connects to the Western Univ. as well. Home made jams made from fruits in their garden.

A quiet, cultured sanctuary with impeccable hospitality.

Wonderfully decorated, and they were very kind and warm hosts. They made us and our dogs feel very welcome, and we still enjoyed great privacy.

We had no complaints.

It was our best B&B experience.

Everything was great.... the breakfast served in our room, the friendly hosts, the ART(!), the comfortable suite, the surrounding gardens, the koi pond and more!

The furnace was a little loud.

We had a lovely time staying at the Sehome Garden Inn! Waking up each morning to freshly baked biscuits and a copy of the local paper is a nice touch. Can't wait 'til I have to come back again on a work trip. :)

Cozy, charming, comfortable visit

Walter and Joseph have created the most lovely bed and breakfast. The home is furnished in delightful mid century style, their dogs are the friendliest, breakfast was delicious and filling to start our day, and our hosts had helpful suggestions for our visit to Bellingham. 10/10 would return.

One of the most memorable hotel stays I’ve ever had! Wish it had been longer

Absolutely everything about this bed and breakfast was perfect! It’s an impeccably curated home on a park-like lot. The hosts are kind and charming and know how to make one feel at home. The room was so cozy! Breakfast was delicious and well thought out (the biscuits and jam were bomb!) And finally, chocolate labs live here- so sweet!

Beautiful and peaceful property. A real gem in Bellingham.

I had a lovely stay. It’s a beautiful, peaceful property adjacent to the Arboretum and WWU. The room was beautifully appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts seem to have thought of every detail. The homemade, farm-fresh breakfast was a real treat. I hope to stay there next time I’m in Bellingham.

Amazing experience! So relaxing!

This is an amazing place! Walter and Joseph couldn't have been better hosts. The property is just beautiful. Lush gardens and so quiet! The suite was beautifully decorated and very well laid out. Walter and Joseph would bring us breakfast at our table every morning with delicious homemade biscuits and jam from the strawberries in their garden. Truly an "above and beyond" experience. They also have wonderful dogs that come and greet you morning and evening.

Excellent place to stay and at a great rate!

I had a great day at Sehome Garden Inn. The breakfast was amazing especially the coffee, delicious and very convenient close to my daughters dorm room on campus so that I could visit with her during my stay. The room was perfect and the bed was super comfortable!
