Fantastic location. Beautiful terrace overlooking the river. Large, clean room with every facility you could ever want. Friendly and helpful owners.
Not keen having to remember to order breakfast the day before instead of picking what you fancy on the day.

Staff were really friendly, the rooms were exceptionally clean, bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was really enjoyable, and nothing was too much trouble they always asked if we wanted anything else.
We would definitely stay there again, much better than being in a b&b or hotel in the town. Could not fault it.
Well done to Deb and the team.
There was nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was good. A lot to pick from on the menu. Maybe one change would be to have section for fruit juice, yogurts and cereal. Then the waiters and waitresses have t got to deal with this.
For me one was thing. The wet room. But this could be because we were in a family of 3 and this was a big room.

Very nice living room with comfortable sofas - enough room for the whole family to be comfortable. A decent size dining room. Good bedrooms and showers. Good quality cotton bedsheets. The location was quiet. Although remote there is a nice (slightly pricy) restaurant next door, although you should book in advance as they are popular.
Windows had very thin curtains - extremely bright in the morning. Luckily we brought along a couple of blackout curtains and hung up the bed covers on the other windows - otherwise we would have been woken up at 5am each morning.

Dining room and breakfast were excellent. Grounds were very pleasant. The owners very nice and amenable to everything. Would recommend.

Very special place. Comfortable room, very clean and well equipped with quality items. Loved the balcony right on the water's edge.
Hosts are a lovely family who do everything with generosity, warmth and care.
Very tasty, hearty breakfasts with top quality produce.
Wish we could have stayed longer. Really can't recommend this gem of a place highly enough.

Fantastic location and facilities. Tea room was fab and really enjoyed afternoon tea. Slight disappointment with breakfast being overcooked - but otherwise a great stay

Ordering breakfast was a little odd the first morning as I had to do it online in the company of the landlady. But it was served prompt and with a smile. The full english was a little greasy on the first morning but everything else was very nice
Could have been a mini bar/fridge in the room. There was no Aircon of any description but as my room was at the back of the house it was cool

Once booked via booking.com. I contacted property to explain of my husbands sight loss, white cane user. And that we would be bringing our dog.
It is advised to contact property to inform of bringing a dog, as not all rooms allow dogs.
We were placed in a large room, with wet room shower facility.
On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, a pot of tea and cake, that we had in our room. There was a dog treat, bowl and bed, that our dog, took advantage of! 🐕🦺🦴
The room we were in had a large double bed and a single bed, with seating. Bedding, towels and complimentary toiletries supplied. There is access to back patio that over looks the river.
We had a very comfortable stay! 😊
One of the highlights was the breakfast, a lovely choice of cereal, with fruit juice, hot beverages, followed by a cooked breakfast of either full English, Kippers, or Pastries. I would recommend the scrambled eggs! 🥣🍳🧇🥞☕️
This set us up for or day of visiting friends in Wells and going to National Trust House and Glastonbury.
At the weekend and during the summer months they open up a tea room, for residents and members of the public, with a lovely array of home cooked cakes.
We would love to stay at this delightful property again!
There is emergency lighting above the door(internal)
that unfortunately is quite bright at night, that lights up the room. I prefer a darkened room, but fully appreciate the necessity of lighting.
