We feel it is important to let you know what we are doing to provide a safe place for you to stay in these most unusual times.
The accommodation is a stand alone cabin set on 5acres in the rural countryside near the small town of Moruya. We believe this is a safe area to explore in peace and quiet.
In many ways the location is quite isolated, being on a dead end road there is little traffic.
The cabin only accommodates couples. We also cater for dogs and horses.
Denise and I spend a minimum of 2 hours to clean between clients and we pride ourselves on being very thorough.
This includes a full linen replacement. Check and rewash dishes and kitchen , all towels and dishcloths replaced with fresh ones. All door handles and surfaces disinfected.
We have confidence in what we offer and encourage you to come and enjoy and relax in these surroundings.
Naturally we understand there are many factors that will influence your decision to come and stay however we also ask that if you feel you cannot make it for any reason your earliest advice would be appreciated.
Keep well
Regards Paul and Denise

Everything was lovely and no trouble for Paul to make sure we had plenty of wood for both fires.

We loved our stay despite the torrential rain. The views and comfortable cottage, with the cozy fire made up for it. Thanks Paul, for another great short stay.

Generally good, however we weren’t aware of the camping toilet which should feature higher in the listing rather than down the bottom. Lighting could have been better for reading etc. A beautiful place with a beautiful view.

We stayed 4 nights with our two Beagles. The property is fabulous for two people. It is picture perfect in it's setting and the hosts Paul and Denise are lovely and very helpful. We found it great to just get away and relax because there is no TV, just a radio and nature in all her majesty. Could not recommend Fig Tree Cabin more highly. We will definitely be back. Our stay was Excellent, enjoy the country atmosphere.. Our dog Grace had a great time running through the fields.
If there was a way of improving toilet
, say septic. Would make stay so much more pleasant for ladies.. Thank You Peter & Carolyn.

Everything needed was there - including some lovely horses saying hello at the bedroom window each morning. Close to shops and beach. A good place to bring your dog. Very pleasant to sit on the deck and admire the scenery. Thank you to Paul, a friendly host.

What a wonderful cabin amongst the gum trees to stay. Despite having phone reception, we just didn't feel inclined to look at them except for the weather. I can't recall enjoying listening to the radio for 4 days, relaxing, reading books, cooking on the bbq....complete serenity. Our dog had a hoot. Paul is a wonderful host, always making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return.

Stayed for four nights in this lovely cottage. Never tired of taking in the view. The cottage itself was super clean and well maintained. A lovely walk to take the dog on, she was right at home. Appreciated the good fenced yard too!
A great pot belly stove for heating with an abundance of wood, thoughtfully delivered by the host, Paul
Paul and Denise are incredibly hospitable and helpful.
It was a pleasure to deal with them and stay at their property. I would hope to make a return trip sometime ☺️

The property was exceptional. Everything we expected for our short break for a significant birthday! Paul was very helpful with our inquiries from best places to eat and best places to see. It wasn't quite cool enough for us to use the fire pit or indoor fire. Books and games were provided, the bed was very comfortable and the yard fenced perfectly for our little cavoodle - we even had a dogsitter up the road for two times we couldn't take her with us. All in all it was very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing.

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Amazing views of the valley from the veranda and from the bed room which was the star of the trip. Plenty of firewood was supplied to keep us warm. When we arrived, we found the indoor Firepit and the outdoor fireplace was all set up ready to go. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed during our stay. It was very relaxing. We had some issues with the toilet but it was attended quickly. my only suggestion would be to have a proper toilet which will make this a perfect place to relax and unwind.

We had a great stay at the Fig tree cabin, so comfortable and Paul was a wonderful welcoming host. Beautiful outlook, private and quiet with an added bonus of an indoor fire and outdoor fire pit. Lovely in the morning sitting on the front porch having breakfast. Great for those with pets, the dogs were welcomed and there was secure fenced area where they could be off leash. Thanks for providing such a great place to stay.

A great scenic stay, a good break away from the hassle & bustle, somewhere to winde down and soak up the serenity. Paul is a very hospitable, helpful and nice natured bloke who made sure the firepit was good to go every day, took you around the property, and gave great spots to see. Always a good yarn with Paul. Ruby says thanks for the great stay & says sorry for barking at you and the horsees. Till next time :)

The cabin is absolutely beautiful everything is recycled down to the floor boards. It was very comforting and peaceful stay had everything you need in kitchen, the cabin had games, books and even a radio to listen to, the bed is very comfortable to sleep in and it looks out to the dam it has big surrounding windows all around the room, very airy. The hot shower is great its a manual hose you can take out it's not lock in. Our host Paul is lovely and pleasant to speak to he goes out of his way to help you in whatever you need. My dog didn't even wanted to go home she had a great relaxing break here at cabin. Definitely will return. Highly recommended and it's not far from Sydney for a small holiday and escape the Rat race.
