Handig

Met een vroege vlucht op de planning zochten we een plek waar we met ons gezin enkele uren konden slapen, dit was hiervoor de perfecte plek! Niet ver van het vliegveld, parking voor de auto en een douche

Er was geen deur tussen de slaapkamer en de keuken/living waar onze zoon sliep.

Gut für eine Nacht und nahe zum Flughafen

Die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert, die Gastgeberin hat bereits auf uns gewartet. Das Zimmer, Küche und Bad waren sauber. Das Bad ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Die Gegend ist nicht so schön, weder der Strand noch die Gegend um die Unterkunft herum. Wir waren dort eingemietet, da wir einen frühen Heimflug hatten. Wer das sucht, ist hier richtig. Der Flughafen ist sehr nah. Für einen längeren Zeitraum bzw. um einen mehrtägigen Urlaub zu machen würde ich eine andere Gegend wählen.

Die Gegend/ das Viertel ist nicht so schön. Weder der Strand, noch die Lokale wirken einladend.

Close to the airport. Very friendly host. He let me leave my suitcase at the property earlier than check-in time, and since when I arrived with the suitcase, the apartment was already free and ready, he let me check in earlier as well :)

Superb

Kind and frendly staff at check-in. Clear an easy instrutions how to arrive from main street to parking gate at property by car. Close to airport, car wash service and car rental return point - it took literaly an hour to check in, clean the car an hand it over to rental company, so we could spend good evenig and night till morning flight.

It is not so much about particular stay, as it is about airport and its surrounding infrastructure - getting by feet to airport (less than 1 km) was sometimes extreem - there is extreemly poor infrastructure for walking by feet.

It is a very nice and good apartment, the owner did everything possible to give us a pleasant stay.

Location is very close to Acireale city centre but quiet (not based on a main road). The apartment is new and well equipped. We had to book on short notice because our flight was cancelled and Francesco the landlord made sure everything was OK within a few hours.

If you need a place to stay real close to the airport it’s ok for a night .

It had closed parking and was close to the airport

Wifi did not work really The neighborhood is pretty sad looking , we arrived during the afternoon, it was so busy on a small street … we were kind of shocked to see the poor state the town was in

A clean well equipped apartment near the airport

Close to the airport witihn 15 minutes walk, although access for pedestrians to the airport is poor, with a lack of segregation from cars in places. Clean and well equipped with a helpful host. In a small quiet (apart from aircraft noise) side street, but the area generally is quite busy and commercial. We were able to catch the regular bus from the Airport to Taormina and Central Catania. The Airport Station (20 minutes walk) also has some useful connections (such as Siracusa) but an infrequent service. We also walked to the local beach, which can be done in 15-20 minutes, but the route is tricky through an underused shopping mall car park and a poorly kept woodland park. We used one of the Lidos for 8 euros each which was fine, but this whole beach area south of Catania is rather scruffy and neglected. The local Deli was helpful and there is a good cafe, but there isn't a good general supermarket nearby.

The poor pedestrian access to the airport, the traffic was very heavy at certain times. The area around the airport generally is quite commercial/industrial. Intially in the car it was tricky to find, the small side street is about 200M north of what the Map seemed to suggest. It is behind the Deli Antica Salumeria Bucisca and its easier to see the "149" when heading south.

Greeat value, 10minutes from the airport, a good solution for late/early flights.

This was a perfect solution for an overnight stay for an early flight. The owner was very helpful and friendly, the house had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Nice location, excellent when you need a place close to the airport and in a private setting.

The location is very close to the airport, a 10-15 minutes walk. There are a few small grocery stores nearby, also restaurants and a bar where you can get food also late at night. but really you should go to the bar at the roundabout for breakfast, you won't regret it. Bonus point was the Moka and coffee which was available in the kitchen.
