Beautiful setting in a great location.

The setting is really great & the location can’t be faulted. You have your own washroom/toilet facilities which is a real plus. You are in beautiful countryside & yet a hop, skip & jump from the facilities in Stoke-in-Trent. It’s a fabulous place to stay if you want to be near the city but in peaceful surroundings. Very handy for Alton Towers, the Pottery museums, the two football clubs etc., etc. Breakfast at Jackson’s Nurseries was spot on & a highlight was the evening meal at the Stafford Arms in Bagnall, a really pretty village just down the road from Holly Grove.

Honestly, there is nothing not to like, it’s spot in for a glamping site.

Perfect quiet setting, beautiful countryside all around; the facilities themselves were absolutely brilliant. The private bathroom was immaculately clean and modern. The glamping accommodation itself was so quaint and cosy, right down to the smallest detail, like the matching dinner sets with sheep design. The bed was extremely comfortable and the decor was so inviting and homely. Would definitely return 👍

Great overnight for a double day trip to Alton Towers.

Everything we needed and nothing we didn’t need! People were super friendly, a few outdoor games to play in a beautiful summers evening.

Our stay was above what we expected and can’t wait to return.

The shepherd huts are very well maintained super comfy have everything you need to make your stay fabulous the shower/ bathroom is excellent couldn’t ask for anything more. There’s a fire pit and barbecue for you to use if you wanted too.

There is nothing else you can do with this property it’s just excellent.

Perfect

We absolutely loved our stay here, it was warm, cosy, comfortable and very clean and tidy. Beautiful setting and lovely accomodation, we would definitely stay here again. We especially liked the private shower rooms allocated to eat shepherds hut, very nice touch. These where also exceptionally clean and well kept.

A lovely stay.

It was lovely and quiet with just sounds of the countryside. The Shepard's hut was very spacious for us and the bed was comfy. Fridges were stocked with some prosecco, water, milk and some chocolate which was a nice touch. Would come back again.

5 stars from this family. Everything was covered, all boxes ticked. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Alton Towers. So much nicer than a hotel stay. Immaculate and comfortable with every mod con you can think of. Beautiful grounds and fantastic facilities. Extremely friendly welcome too. We will definitely be returning. We chose this place to meet friends. We travelled from Wales and they from Scotland. We had a wonderful weekend at Holly Grove Farm 😁

Fantastic family glamping

Very clean, comfy and cosy. Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in 2 of the shepherds huts. Friendly welcome, and thankyou for the prosecco and chocs, very thoughtful. The kids including the teenagers enjoyed playing with the garden toys, and the board games. The surroundings are beautiful and its so peaceful and quiet. Very easy run to Alton Towers from here, and we also enjoyed a delicious Sunday dinner from the Stafford Arms. Would definitely return, and so pleased we gave glamping a go.

Perfect!

Amazing location, close to Alton Towers. Dave, the owner, was welcoming, friendly and helpful. All the little touches were lovely, Prosecco, milk, chocolates in the fridge. Everything was well organised and felt like home from home - we will definitely return!

Perfect getaway

Absolutely loved our stay! It is located in a lovely peaceful area with nearby pubs / takeaways and only a 25-30 minute drive from Alton towers. The hut itself was immaculate and the bathroom was also very clean- could not fault! Showers also very hot which was great! Very comfortable bed and huts much more spacious than expected, didn’t feel crammed in at all! Will recommend to everyone, would definitely come back here as enjoyed it so much. Was a perfect get away. The prosecco and chocolates were also a lovely added extra!
