Convenient to fit all of us in and was close to Alton Towers

Cleanliness and it was quite tired looking inside. Bed linen smelt like it had just been heavily perfumed rather than washed Also the key didn’t work for the front door.

We totally enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient to Alton Towers. Plenty of Parking spaces. A Convenience store nearby is very handy.

Probably to fix the ground floor shower as it is too hot.

If you are quite family and just want to to sleep then yes! Otherwise avoid! You can’t enjoy a holiday with your family

It was central location

Parking is difficult. Neighbours are always complains about noise even without any music or anything! We were just talking! Out of 4 nights we stayed there we got phone call from the host 3 nights asking to keep it down! That’s without any music or loud noises.. just a group of friends talking!! No hot water in one of the bathrooms from second day! One of the mattresses in bedroom is very bad!

Would defo stay again, good value for money.

property location was brilliant. House was very spacious for 9 guests. Decor was lovely well presented throughout.

Downstairs shower thermostat was not working properly so shower was to hot to use, upstairs shower was good. Garden was abit tired, but views was lovely.

location good for our requirements

showers poor in both bathroom. downstairs, no temperature control & too hot to actually stand under water. upstairs, shower head hand to be held by hand otherwise water would spray all over the room fridge didn’t have a shelf in the door so not able to store milk without laying it down.

the step from the living room to the kitchen was loose and was a trip hazard. the cooker was not clean.

Home from home

We are looking to move to stoke and this was an ideal place for us to stay whilst with the kids, was comfy and a we all had a relaxed stay as good as a home from home for us.

Just that we had to leave full stop lol.

location to Alton towers, ease of entry and the size of the property.

finding a parking space, no frying pan, remote for the TV did not work, downstairs shower was scalding water, bedroom on ground level - one of the mattresses is worn and has a dip in it, overall needs a little TLC

the central heating was not working, the remote for the tv was not working even after putting in new battery's, the beds advertised as king size beds they were not Kingsize at all. kitchen was ok but not a lot of utensils for cooking meals for 8 people. Garden area out back was weedy unkept, stairs down to garden area very steep not suitable for small children or adults with mobility issues. pictures of property showed plenty of towels in each room sadly same as above there was not had to purchase more towels for the stay

We had a good stay but possibly the photos of the house where slightly misleading

number of beds beds were comfortable closeness to Alton towers

not enough space to dine. only four could dine at the table with their backs to the others who had to eat on the sofa. The living space and seating did not match the number of people who could stay in the house! other parts of the house where tired looking and needed fixed. wires in some places made it unsafe for younger kids. blinds were not blackout and very thin so there was little affect with keeping out light. the outside space was unattractive and again in places unsafe for younger children

Easy access to keys.

Description and facilities given for this property are not correct. There is no High chair, toiletries and baby safety gates. Additionally, the so-called “Extra-long beds” are actually just two single beds joined together, the TV does not work and most importantly, the property is not clean, hypoallergenic or safe. If you have any allergies or skin sensitivities then stay away from this property. Moreover I do not recommend anyone with young children to stay here as the stairs are unsafe without safety gates. This was especially frustrating and inconvenient as we had to be constantly vigilant for our two year old falling from the stairs rather than enjoying our stay. The smoke alarms did not work and the date for recommended following check on the gas safety certificate was overdue. The host does not take any liability for the above-mentioned hazards and your queries will simply not be resolved. My family has developed a very dangerous rash on the skin and asthma problems after staying here. If you cannot be honest but still want to earn money then at least you should have the courage and dignity to admit and compensate if someone politely reminds you about it, instead of putting the blame on someone else. The host was notified within the first hour of arrival yet none of the above issues were resolved during our three-night stay and no compensation was given. I do not want anyone else to go through this. I hope my review will save your well-earned money.

plenty of space for group of friends to stay and everyone had their own space

parking spaces were not easy to get, specially if you have a few cars

The property location is generally good and the of the property was brilliant.

In terms of general maintenance of the property there were numerous elements that require attention to make this a good property, including: -If you have toddlers or travelling with small people, we would not recommend this property. - Broke/uneven steps out of the back down to garden. Very dangerous for smaller guests. - Downstairs shower room, tiling broken under shower. - The smell of dog and dog hair was present throughout the property. - Kitchen cupboard doors broken and off hinges. - TV is poor. Having to use a manual aerial for signal. - Metal strip at the top of the stairs requires tightening or replacing

Ideal home for trip to Alton Towers

We stayed here as a cheaper alternative to the Alton Towers hotel and we were not disappointed. The house was very spacious and accommodated our large group perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in that area or visit Alton towers. The advert states that there is not space for a travel cot, however there is ample space in every room. Fantastic choice of restaurants on deliveroo too which is always a bonus.

I had to buy 3 light bulbs for bed lights as they were missing had to replace battery's in central heating controller also top landing smoke alarm,the back garden could have done with weeding as it took away from great view.

The location and size of the house was perfect to allow the family to stay together.it was also a nice quiet street,

Pleasant

The location is quiet, convenient for shops and food, good base for Alton Towers and when we had a problem with the WiFi the owners were responsive.

WiFi coverage was not very good outside of the downstairs bedroom and living room, the accommodation is in need of some repairs to wear and tear and the garden needs some attention

Great weekend, great location, very helpful and kind hosts.

Short taxi trip to local restaurants, and nice an close for our drive too alton towers. Great size, cleanliness and all round perfect.

Spacious and comfortable property

The property is spacious and very clean, the kids enjoyed the garden space. The hosts were very professional and helpful, will definitely book this place again. Lots of parking outside the property as we came with 3 cars.
