About this house rental
Welcome to Island Escape for your holiday and hope you enjoy your stay. Once you arrive, you can park the car and forget about it, as all restaurants, cafes and specialty shops are only 200 metres away. The beach is even closer at 150 metres. The townhouse is very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, whilst downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge, laundry, second shower and toilet and BBQ with outdoor setting.
Recently the townhouse has been updated with new mattresses, furniture, Smart TV and appliances. The new mattresses were added to ensure you have a great night's rest. The new couch and arm chair are very comfortable so you can enjoy to either read a book or watch TV. The Smart TV is paired with the Wi-Fi and you can log into your Netflix account or surf the web. Finally, a new 900 mm gas cooktop, an electric oven and microwave have been installed should you and your family love to cook.
PARKING
When you arrive at the property you will find a parking bay in front of the garage and a further two next to it. The driveway can accommodate up to 3 cars. The garage is available for car parking if required.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
We have smoke detectors inside the house and it is non- smoking area. If you are a smoker then the undercover Alfresco can be used. There is ashtray provided for you.
The house offers three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate WC, lounge/dining room, rumpus room, laundry and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave, an electric oven and gas hotplate along with crockery, cutlery, glassware, dining table and chairs and lots of storage space. Now available is a reverse cycle air conditioning system in all the rooms for cooling and heating.
The house has constant hot water. There is also an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner in laundry.
The House can sleep up to 7 people. It is very important that you properly nominate number of adults / kids staying.
Fire Extinguisher – 1 is in the kitchen under the sink.
You will also find a torch in the kitchen in a basket above the microwave oven.
Bins – We all care about environment and Island Escape is environment friendly. You have 2 bins provided at the front. Yellow bin is for recycle items such as bottles, cans, paper, etc. Please sort your rubbish accordingly.
BBQ – On side of the house there is a gas BBQ. You are free to use the BBQ any time. Please clean the BBQ after each use. An additional charge will be applied if the BBQ is not cleaned after use. A spare gas bottle is in the garage, should the gas bottle run out of gas. Please notify the owner if this occurs, so the empty bottle can be replaced with a full bottle for future guests.
Wi-Fi is available for use and the security code is contained within the Welcome Pack, which will be sent 24 to 48 hours prior to check in.
Guests can use all parts of the house, as there are no restrictions. Linen, pillows, blankets and towels are provided for each guest. Coffee machine and pods, tea and sugar are also provided upon your arrival.
Please note that although the upstairs bathroom has a spa bath tub, the spa is not available for use.

We were a party of two couples visiting Phillip Island. The property was clean and in a great walkable location with easy parking for unit. The showers in the two full bathrooms were a little dated but clean and functional. We arrived from overseas and the owner was very responsive. Easy check in and out. Would recommend.

What a fantastic stay! Everything you want within walking distance. We left the car parked in the garage our entire stay. 1 min walk to the beach and a 3 minute walk to Cowes centre shopping and cafe strip. A more than comfortable stay for a family with 2 boys (aged 11 and 12). A clean and well maintained townhouse with everything you need to make your holiday effortless. Communication with Jim was always prompt, in the lead up to and after our stay. We've been coming to Cowes for 12 years and this has been our best stay. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Cowes and would definitely return. Thanks Jim and Linda for being such great hosts.

A beautiful and very comfortable place to stay in. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay.

Ladies retreat
My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at this property. This was my first time booking through the stayz site and had a few glitches which our hosts Jim and Linda were incredibly helpful in helping me navigate.
The apartment is spacious, comfortable, tastefully furnished and perfect for our first night in watching movies and catching up. It is also very close to the main street and easy to walk to everything when we were ready to hit the town the following night. Communication with our hosts was easy and they really went out of thier way to recommend great places in town and answer our many questions. I would highly recommend this property it has everything you need and such a wonderful location. We look forward to returning in the warmer months to take advantage of being so close to the beach!

This one is all about location
The house itself was nice enough, the mattresses were comfortable, but the old squeeky beds could use an update. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable, but it was quite small. For the price and the time of year we were really happy with the location. Everything was a walk away. Jim was also very communicative which i appreciated. I would recommend this house if your happy for a small size. The kitchen pots, pans and utensils were great!
We probably would stay here again.

Easy quiet location close to everything
This was a comfortable townhouse for our visit, and Jim was a responsive host. House set up with most things you'd need, and it was easily accessible to the water and shops. Would only advise that if stairs are an issue this would not be suitable property for you.

Great location, short walking distance to the beach and the shops! Really no need to use the car! House was nice and clean with everything you need! Been in Cowes couple of times but this was the best spot ever! Also great communication with the owners, Thanks Jim and Linda!
